WALLACE M.I specifically requested a location that would be open on 5/30 for our move, not only was the Winston-Salem location closed BUT NO ONE IN CHARLOTTE WAS OPEN. So we are sitting there with a truck full and no storage available to access. Could not get customer service this was absolutely the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER....If everyone was going to be closed that should have been told to me when I did the request. Thank God, we find a facility that was open but it cost us 3X's what was supposed to be provided by UHaul.

TERESA J.I was charged for mileage overage. I drove straight from rental location to old home to new home and straight to drop off location. The calculated mileage was incorrect during the rental calculation. I did not drive extra mileage resulting in $18 extra charge.

BONITA G.They didn't have all of the equipment I ordered. They tried to charge me more than my quoted rate by a significant amount. A manager had to come from another location to fix the rate and I had to wait. The manager was wearing his mask around his chin. I was there for about an hour, then had to drive to another location to get the furniture blankets and dolly, which I needed to move. The other location was kind of scary, and no one was wearing a mask. I got the equipment quickly, but when I brought it home, the furniture blankets were wet, moldy, and smelly - completely unusable. In order to have as little contact with them as possible, we just left them at the bottom of the truck - but that turned a one-load move into like five (without blankets). I paid for the miles for the trip to the other place (8 miles round trip) as well as the extra trips. While the guy "discounted" my rate to match the original rate, the inconvenience was pretty big. Then I made a customer service complaint - and I got a return call from the manager person who came to the branch, 'correcting' me about my complaint. Though he offered me additional discounts, he also kept telling me I was wrong. All in all no good.
