I reccommend and would use this location again only b/c of its locality. However, trying to book a van on a Saturday was a ordeal with riddled issues from location change after change and than a double book. However , it all worked out at the end. I only needed van for 1 hour and was able todo what was needed. But wasted a few hours due to van unavailability. Wish it could of been as smooth as it appears with mobile check in and out with appointment and vehicle clean and Covid-19 Sanitized and ready for pick up. Hopefully next time.Gabriel M.

This has station attendant wasn't wearing a mask! I was super scared and worried. Signs everywhere say you must wear a mask but the attendant wasn't wearing a mask!!!! Also the truck was very dirty on the exterior and there was a knife in the back of truck which was uncomfortable. Easy process except for having to get a key from an attendant with no mask.Erick M.

I went to the u-haul in whittier ca. first, the one located in lefinwell ave. But the service was not courteous, nor friendly, from the first time the deny having a rental truck of the size i nedeed it, then any truck, i call to make a reservation and the same man attended me and started to argue with me because of my comment i made, that there it was the reservation he was asking for and that it was so odd that he said he was not going to have that truck maybe until tomorrow. He got offended and declined to rent me the truck. Worst costumer service with that man. I had been there other two times in the past but never again will go to that place. when i picked up the truck it was dusty and dirty, I took a picture of the tailgate to evidence some damage- just in case there was a dispute . When I returned it, the clerk charged me a 25 dollar cleaning fee. The floor mat was dusty from my boots and the bed had some dust on it, but no way was it dirtier than when I picked it up. I was on a deadline, so I did not take it back to wipe it down to the clerk's satisfaction. Totally ripped off. Arbitrary by the clerk. I have rented a uhaul truck on 4 occasions in the past few months, very happy with each rental- except for this one. This $25 fee was unwarranted, I would like a credit back on my charge card.andres R.

THIS WAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I Was charged incorrectly ,ADDITIONAL 53.00 charge was not explained Correctly,the truck was filthy I asked the girl if it was clean and she said yes and I told her clearly it was not!! I was so irritated i wore my mask the whole Time while I was driving the truck because I was afraid that the air ventilation was not clean NOTHING WAS CLEAN TO COVID standards OR ANY STANDARDS I WAS AFRAID TO GET INTO TRUCK I WIPED DOWN STEERING WHEEL AND DRIVER/PASSENGER SEAT AND WAS GROSSED OUT, I WORE GLOVES THE DURATION OF TIME WHILE USING THE TRUCK FOR 8 HRS AND WITH ADDED ANXIETY BECAUSE IT WAS SO DIRTY, ALSO when I picked up the truck I got it and 1 hour and a 1/2 after I was SCHEDULED to pick up due to the customer she was helping before me she said she didn't know how to do any of this because she was new Then apparently the system went down She tried calling the manager and no one answered the phone and delayed everything but I didn't get any extra time on the truck or any discount I WILL NEVER RENT FROM THIS PLACE AGAINarlene S.

Reservation was to pick up truck and trailer at this location. Was informed later that I needed to pick up truck at shell station on telegraph. When I arrived there no one was there went to this location and inquired about truck, Matt tried to be helpful in researching problem and tried to locate another truck. I also found out your truck measurements are very deceptive. A 20' truck is only 17' you include the 3' over the cab in your 20'. Alin all not happy with uhaul!John S.

I was happy with how easy it was to rent the truck, I was also surprised at how nice the truck was. The per mile charge was disappointing. I used the truck for 2 1/2 hours and drove 50 miles. It's just that I could have used the truck all day, but driven hardly anywhere and paid a lot less. Other that than, I think it was great!Amy B.

Inside the vehicle was dirty- dried spilled liquids, scattered sunflower seeds, etc;. Some damage on the exterior of the vehicle was not marked; so we had to spend time doing that; when I returned the vehicle at 4:30 p.m. the facility was closed and locked with no explanation, despite the fact their business hours are open until 6 p.m.David C.

The truck was exactly what I needs for my move. The only downfall was that it started with 1/4 tank of fuel which required me to fill up right away. The only other thing was the floor in the cargo area had some grease/oily substance which forced me to use some sheets to place my furniture on, but other than that I loved it. ThanksChristopher C.

Bad location poor visibility and lack of parking. Parking lot and grounds are not well maintained dry weeds on lot next to parking lot. I would not leave my vehicle overnight due to poor location and poor visibility. Employees were friendly and competent.Rodrigo R.

we turned in the truck around 915pm last night and were told the location was going to be open until 10 pm and once we gothtere no one was there and tries to do the online instructions and when i tried to follow instructions it was saying no record of rental so couldnt follow directions. on top of that i treid calling to speak to someone for better instructiond and it was on hold for 30 min!! to have the call disconnected.Alyssa P.

This location was closed when I dropped off the vehicle. However, my problem is not with this location. My problem is with the original drop off location that was on my contract. I went to drop off my vehicle at Hannas Mobil in Whittier, CA and the man working there didn't appear to know what he was doing, so he called someone else and I wasn't able to understand what he was saying because they were speaking another language. After being on the phone for about 5 minutes, he hangs up and says "we can't take your vehicle because we have no room in our lot." However, that was a lie because I parked it in a spot that was available near the other uhaul vehicles on the lot. You can't expect customers to honor the contract if you (or your partners) will not honor the contract. Your customer representative recommended a different location but that location was out of my way and I had an appointment shortly after my scheduled drop off time.Carlos M.

The Uhaul van we rented had a horrible smell. It was very dirty and had many empty water bottles. I plan to rent a weekly van but was not happy with the service and the fact that my husband was not able to pick up the van. It took us over 2 hours to pick up our rented van by the time we go thru customer service. This was my second time renting from this location and it will probably be my last.Susana L.

I am a die hard Uhaul fan and have been using Uhaul since a kid. They made it very difficult to pick up the keys. the inside of the truck was dirty, no dollies after I ordered them, No moving sheets, and it added 12 extra hours to my moving experience. We had to carry everything. This wore me and my friends out. I had to get another truck to get the fridge which took another 6 hours and barely got my stuff out of my house to the next house before I was charged and extra months rent. Worst Uhaul experience I have had in almost 40 years.CONWAY L.
Clean off the animal hair in the seating area. I understand that it's a rental and people are going to be dirty and gross But having to deal with animal hIr stuck to your clothes and you don't have any animals, that's just nasty and smelly. And also the windshield could be a little more clearer because this one was filthy regardless of the windshield washer which I didn't use in lieu of having a dirtier windshield from the grime already on there.Bernardo R.

I had order pick up on my cell phone. Now I really don't like to do things this way but I wanted an early start. They did not get that I had to sit and wait for 1/2 an hour and they do everything manually. My drop off location I had to redo which was farther away from my home. Which yes I went 9 miles over with that... Not great service. The girl was just not very helpful at the desk very blah.Tracey L.

I had my pick up scheduled ahead of time for 7am when the location was set to open for the day. The lady working the store did not arrive until just after 7am. She was then in no rush to open up and just counted cash etc until 715 when she finally let me in. Even then it was like she really didn't care about my being there, didn't hurry at all and didn't apologize for being late. The guy I did my return with was nice though.Christina G.
