In order to improve customer experience, please clean and organize the office location. at the time of my visit it was a shawarma restaurant, but closed due to the pandemic. It looked like an abandoned place which hasn't been cleaned for quite some time, with a desk and a laptop in the middle. The U-haul attendant was very helpful and cooperative, though. The eqipment we rented was almost brand new. I'll happily go back to this location for my future rental needs.Simon B.

Don't be 30 minutes late to your own advertised opening time - making people wait outside in the cold. Check your reservations instead of blaming the universe for not knowing who booked your trucks. Apologize when you are obviously the one to blame for all the issues. If you're choosing to run a business, run it. Stop making excuses.Roberto S.

The representative was not friendly towards customers at all. We tried do everything online to avoid coming into contact with the representative, but something went wrong so when we went inside he said â€œit's the customers problemâ€ why we couldn't do it correctly. If I didn't need the rental right away, I would have cancelled the entire transaction and went somewhere else.Loknath S.

Customer Service is excellent:). The area is under major construction. The interior of the store is designed for a different setting but it works. I am unsure what policy U-Haul has in place for cleaning and disinfecting the vehicles. I do my share and disinfect the vehicle before use especially during COVID-19 times. That being said this is not the only location I have rented from and I hope that there are cleaning and disinfecting U-Haul policies that are followed and adhere to. To be safe I disinfect as I want to be contributing to healthy environments I place myself in.Victoria C.

I rented this place twice already; Nov. 13 and 18. #1: I needed the Uhaul. #2: The service is amazing and it's smooth. I normally dont rent twice in 1 yr cuz i actually didn't need to, but the 2nd time was so last minute that I was taken cared of right off the bat and he made it smoooooooth again. Suuuuper sketchy pickup - filthy darkened storefront, beside a shattered glass door-it did NOT feel safe to get my keys there nor walk around the building in the (tiny, deserted parking lot) to pick up the truck. Truck cab interior was FILTHY upon pickup-garbage, coffee and sticky stuff spilled all over the seats/doors/floors/cup holders, steering wheel flaking off in my hands as I drove. It's COVID-and yet I'm the one who had to get in and Lysol things down before I could even drive off Brakes hissed, screeched and beeped the entire drive-check oil light was on the moment I got in, as well as the battery low light, and there was a strange buzzing /rattling from the engine the whole ride. I ordered 10 moving blankets, but was surprised when I got to my loading location there were NO blankets inside the truck. Called Uhaul, they said the place I picked it up from decided to cancel my blankets (unbeknownst to me) because they didn't have any. Why I wasn't informed immediately is beyond me. The truck itself was all dinged up/scratched/marked on pickup (it even shows this in the pictures Uhaul provided when I picked up the truck) yet when we returned it to Kwick Stop Esso in Lindsay, the manager tried to say it had new dings/scrapes/damage which were already there! Absolutely ridiculous. DO BETTER, Uhaul. People are counting on you.Stephanie C.

Terrible experience, although not unexpected for U-Haul. It took over an hour to pick up the vehicle because there was a problem with their computer system. I waited on hold for over 30 minutes to speak with U-Haul central booking and resolve the issue (which then took another phone call and 20 minutes on hold). The person at the site was not wearing a mask at any point through numerous interactions during this hour - all of which were inside. Look elsewhere even if it is the cheapest/closest option.Blake M.

The policy of higher charges for fuel level lower than the starting amount but no credit for refueling to a higher level is particularly egregious. It is difficult to guess the fuel level when filling up so other major rental car companies offer a credit instead.Michael L.

The UHaul rep at this location was a pleasure to deal with. Even though it was a very busy time to be renting a moving truck, he was extremely kind and helpful and made my experience a whole lot better. I was also very satisfied with the abundance of parking space available at this location, which is often an issue at other UHaul locations.JOSHUA F.
The owner of the shop arrived 35 minutes late, AFTER my scheduled pick up. He did not even apologize, looked like this is his usual behavior. There where more people waiting before me and we were all shocked at how bad the service was! I would never recommend this location.Natalia V.

The materials I requested (packing blankets, dolly, etc.) were not available with the cargo van at pickup, but there was nothing the location can do to address this. They did not receive these materials from uhaul. Also, the mobile check in did not work for my booking. The location staff kindly called me to check in with me when I didn't sign in, yet. They also updated my booking to take out the costs for the dolly and blankets, since they were unavailable, and signed me in manually to pick up my cargo van. Additionally, they let me extend my cargo van rental at the last minute without any qualms. They were very friendly, patient, polite, informative, and professional throughout the entire process. Anything, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I have experienced. Was told I could pick up my vehicle at 930am only to have the mobile pickup tell me I had to wait till the location opened at 10am when I arrived. The guy didn't arrive till 10:20am, in the meantime I was on hold for 45 minutes with customer service and when I did talk to someone they transferred me and i got kicked back to the start of the on hold line. The person who provided the vehicle was unorganized and could not offer an explanation for any of the problems. When my return time (I had booked for 6 hours till 3:30pm) changed to 3pm (bearing in mind I didn't actually get my vehicle till 10:20am) they again offered no explanation other then I wasn't going to get charged extra for bringing it back early. There was someone there who was also waiting for the van I had borrowed so clearly they double book. Take pictures of your mileage at both ends, slightly overcharged me and the guy was on the phone when we were dropping off with someone who had the same problem, was very rude to the person on the phone as well. Would be better off moving my stuff by hand next time.John G.

- i registered for pickup at 10am. The business was closed and not even open. We called and he arrived at 10:15. By the time he serviced a few people, I got my van at 10:30. This half an hour delay caused problems for me at the building. - I got a receipt saying by km out was 205km, but actually when I picked up the van, the km stated was 220km. When I called to tell him this, he said it's not his problem and that I would have to call uhaulrobert Z.

Uhaul is truly unreliable and I doubt this will be printed. I reserved days in advance only to have my time and location changed. Then on day of my apartment move I got a call saying a truck was not available even though it was confirmed the night before. I eventually found one for less time a Amal was at a different time and at a further location. Very stressful and I would encourage no one to count on uhaul. EverBrian G.
