The U haul website is difficult to use for booking. At a certain point in the process the customer must read the terms of service. There is no prompt to do this until it is too late to go back and review it. You should provide a prompt for customers to read the terms before advancing to the next page. If they miss it, then they should be able to go back and review them. Customers cannot do that right now. It is very frustrating.Robert S.

I have reserved to mobile pick up my truck for 8am and I got there receiving a message that I would have to wait until the place opened at 9am to see the owner of the uhaul place. A confirmed reservation is an expectation to pickup the vehicle at that time not a minute later. I was very disappointed as I was in a very time sensitive situation and needed to move within 3 hours from one spot to the other as I had made timing arrangements with my building. Luckily I was able to see the owner half an hour later, 8:30 and got everything done in time but this has made me lose trust with uhaul and would not recommend to anyone.Matteo L.
They lie about the price of the u-haul. I thought it was for 19.99 not 29.99. I have returned it back in 1 day which I had in my contract they charged me 3 days. I will not come back ever again.jermaine R.
Everything was perfect. They helped me with a van last minute. To bad it was only possible for 3 hours, but I understand specially at the end of the month and a long weekend, it was better than nothing. GraciasPhillip W.
Truck cabin was dirty. None of the additional booked equipment was provided with the truck rental. This was documented and photo taken when picking up the truck (through after hours pickup process). This was inconvenient but understood this happens some times, and no major issue. It was again noted when dropping the truck back on their app by selecting which equipment wasn't provided on tick boxes in the web browser. The following day I received a call tell me I hadn't returned the equipment with the truck. I explained everything and advised it was all noted. I was then told not to worry, they will simply take those charges off the invoice. Invoice was received the following day with moving blankets taken off but 4x trolleys still charged. Truck was convenient and systems seem well set up for customers to utilise the 24hr pickup, but execution at the site let it all down.Julian B.

Despite choosing my location for drop off over the phone when booking, and again upon checkout, this location ended up on my final contract and was over 25 minutes out of my way to return. I also recieved multiple calls over multiple days from them without a voicemail while I was moving, so I had no idea what the call was for, who it was from, etc. They were adamant I return it to this location as they needed it for the next day... overall I'm truly dissatisfied with U-Haul. The only positive I have is that at least the staff at this location upon drop-off were friendly, because I was already in such a bad mood upon driving in.David L.

The customer service person forgot to put the blankets in the back of the truck so we had to drive across Toronto for a second time to collect them. The lot was filled with garbage. The customer service person did not know how to hitch the trailer onto the truck and had to call another guy to come to the lot to do the job.Aaron B.

My experience with Uhaul started off poorly. I booked a 6AM pick up with a self checkout vehicle. This is not what I got. My vehicle ended up being a 9AM pick up, not self checkout which put me well behind schedule for the day and left helping hands idle. Once we got the truck, there was damage on the truck with we pointed out to the person working and it said it was completely fine and sent us on our way. We did not take pictures with him, we did not do anything because we trusted the person working knew what he was doing. Our assumption was that the damage was recorded in the Uhaul database and that we wouldn't experience a bunch of grief at the drop off location. Overall, thank god that we had the 15$ damage insurance, and thank god the people at the drop off location were not as neglectful as the two men working Saturday morning Jul 23 2022. My overall pick up experience was very bad and caused a lot of stress both at the beginning and end of my trip. I am very displeased and trusted uhaul to give me appropriate direction given that it was my first time renting from the company. This is not what i received whatsoever.Calvin R.

We had reserved and confirmed our reservation a day before scheduled pick up time in order to confirm 15' Truck availability at this location, but when we got there to pick the truck they said only 10' Truck is available since other customers haven't returned their trucks on time, since I have been warned that this might happen I insisted to get the 15' truck as per reservation and after waiting half an hour and negotiation the finally gave me a 15' truck, but I lost half an our of building elevator booking time window.Seyed Amirarsala P.

I couldnt get a hold of you guys at all but make the number be visuable to the customer. I must say though the gentleman i believe his name is sapreet the indian young man . Awesome customer service, very commandating , wonderful problem solver. He listen and very calm. Shows strong will power and leadership and expertise in his respectful job. The muffler of the vehicle and the gaz indicator were defective, otherwise, the vehicle did it's job. Upon leaving the premise, I fill up 80$ to move the gaz gauge from 1/4 to 1/2 full. Upon reaching Oshawa, I was back down to 1/4 full. Knowing that I had to do a second trip (I requested a 26' and got a 20' vehicle forcing me into a second trip). As I had to do the the trip 3 more time, 80 x 3 = 240$ so I fill up 200$ to start knowing that I would have to go to the pmp one more time before returning the vehicle. At time of return, the gauge showed 5/8 full still, a value in excess of 120$ worth of fuel left above the requirement. On the other hand, the contract was estimated to 150kms, we did according to Google map 361kms. The US truck was in the old miles system which Canada abandoned 48 years ago. How do I get that corrected now?Jacques B.

I thought that I have a one-way trip to Hamilton. but I was wrong and somehow the request wasn't booked. On top of that, I had to return the vehicle to Toronto. `It was a long frustrating day. He answered my question, helped me when I had to call the location for assistance and, above all, doing all with a smile in his face and great humor despite the very hot day we were having and his office extremely hot inside. Harnik at Livingston confirmed what the second dispatch person told me over the phone, that the rental rate was high for one way but it had unlimited kilometres included in the price. All contracts were emailed to my friend, who helped me call to find a truck rental on Wednesday June 8, 2022. Nothing was emailed to me!Peter S.
My van was beat up, the left tail light and turning indicator was broken, the tire pressure was too low, and it had less than one eighth of a tank of gas, but I was told I had to fill it up to a quarter tank. It took over 30 minutes to get the employee to understand why I was telling him I wouldn't return it with a quarter tank, and after driving less than 10km I had to drive back because I didn't want to risk getting a ticket for the broken light, and I wasn't able to do what I need a van for. Total waste of time and the employee was clueless.Robert M.
