Straps to tie down tires were frayed, ratchet's didn't work properly, brakes on trailer were way out of adjustment

Vehicle was not swept properly. I had to sweep the vehicle before return. Also process is complicated for a new person to rent via self service. Almost all locations in the area were closed on Sunday. Mostly people need these vehicles on weekends.

We did not get the location confirmed on line. When we went to the new location, they didn't even have a 26' truck for us. They gave us a smaller truck that someone did not show up for yet. WILL NEVER BOOK ON LINE AGAIN.

The people that worked in the location was very rude & unprofessional. Poor customer service. I will never use this location again. They also told me they didn’t have the size truck I wanted & it was right there. Then to get my rental and the tire light was on. I had to get out in the cold air to add tire. That should’ve been done. They act like they was paying for the uhaul. A waste of money

The locations in Seaford (and Georgetown Rt 113N) are borderline -acceptable. What has happened to credible businesses? Anyway, I had to travel to Georgetown for the 15ft truck, and those mes counted against my overall rental! I'm thankful to rent what was needed but the cost is crazy.

My reservation was supposed to be at another location, and I validated 3 times prior during the same week it would be there. 1 hour before I was to pick up I was called and notified they couldn't help me and I had to call the Uhaul 800 number. I was moved to this location farther away at the last moment, and the people barely spoke English. Terrible experience all around.

Noone told me when my pickup location was changed that the location did not open until 8 and a code was not given to utilize the lock box also I reserved a furniture dolly and an appliance dolly and they did not have the appliance dolly. This location was extremely disorganized and the truck only had a quarter tank of gas in it.

We had to ask for assistance to make sure that the trailer was on correctly. In spite of the guy coming out to help us with the trailer, the trailer came off of the hitch while we were driving down the road. We were able to place it securely on the hitch again but I think that the hitch mechanism is not catching securely. The female who checked us in was using her personal phone to send out the information to Uhaul - including credit card information. In the 40 years that I have used Uhaul, this is the worst location that I have been in. The people there need training in hooking up trailers as well as customer service.

the store opened two and a half hours late causing my family to miss a funeral service for my moms sister and we weren't there for my my mom i tried to file a complaint and uhaul has never got back to me not acceptable not professional i will advertise my misfortune with this company at every opportunity they lied and said they would get back to me

I was picking up an auto trailer, and was redirected to this facility the day I was to pick it up. Once at the facility, I was told that they did not do hook-ups, and I was on my own. I had to plead with her to at least help me back up to the trailer. After we got the trailer connected to the rental truck, she helped me hook up the chains. I was suspicious of how they were connected so I stopped at U-Haul of Salisbury Maryland(where I was originally to pick up the trailer) to check out the chains. They said the chains were incorrectly attached and redid them properly. They also taught me how to secure the car onto the trailer( which the girl at Service General did not know how to do. I strongly suggest that you do not send people to this location for trailer hook ups!!!!

I have been renting vehicle for over 40 years. In the past U-Haul was not at the top of my list for moving trucks. However this rental has been my best experience ever with U Haul. Scheduling was nearly flawless. With the exception of the truck being 6 FT larger than was promised the experience could not have been any better.
