The unit was very dirty on the outside(makes it hard to find previous damage) and was a bit dirty on the inside. I thoroughly wiped down the inside with a car interior cleaner upon return- except deep under seats.

Very confusing. Poor directions and not accurate online. Only got right direction by calling and speaking to someone who just happened to answer the phone when there is no one usually there.

I called 913) 80-4356 on Saturday 7/9/22 at 3:48pm and spoke to Christine/Christina and asked her if we could drop off closer location since the one I was given was 23+ miles away than just down the road and we didn't need to keep it an extra day. Gave her the information. She said "Yes, I'll change your drop off location." So we dropped the truck off. On Monday 7/11/22, I received a call from Corrie, asking me if I was ok. They didn't have the truck. When I got back up to Ottawa, KS, I saw the truck sitting there and called Corrie. Couldn't leave message as VM box was full. Called the 913# again and spoke to Maddie and let her know the truck was there. First time every renting myself but not sure I'll use Uhaul again. Usually very good, but this was not a good experience.

Jamie JonesThe link to navigate to this location was wrong. It took me to south Ottawa. this location is 2 miles North of Ottawa. I reserved a 20ft truck. I got a 26ft truck from this location. This is not what I wanted.

Jennifer Sims | Overall ExperienceI was not informed that to expedite the process I needed to download the u-haul app. That was the beginning of my bad experience with this rental. Checking in and getting the unit took forever. About a year ago I had another u-haul rental that left me stranded on the road. Then I got on this one and it had a check engine light on. During the move I kept thinking it was going to leave me on the side of the road. To me U-haul does not have the best interest in mind when it comes to the peace of mind of their customers. The unit was dirty, the fuel level was low. I have rented many u-hauls in the past they always had full tanks when I got them. Cleaning and fueling the unit is valuable I lost before getting to do my move. Again no peace of mind.

Stefanie WebsterThere's probably nothing that can be done but I have T-Mobile and this specific location has terrible cell service. Maybe give them a heads up that the checkout process can take up to like, 30 minutes once they're at the location? Other than that it went great.

Jennifer CurryExperience overall was good, I was a little upset that I was about to be charged a cleaning fee for the truck when the cab was already dirty when we picked up. I would make sure that the trucks are cleaned each time to avoid that in the future.

jeremiah hopewellMy truck did not come with all the equipment requested. It was a pain to rundown what we needed. No one wants to refund us anything even though I had to go to a different U-Haul to get the dolly I needed. On top of that I drove extra miles to get the dolly and I was charged for those miles as well. Terrible experience!
