My brother and I rented equipment from this location. The man behind the counter was very rude. Terrible experience. Moving is hard enough, and dealing with rude staff makes it harder. I would recommend to everyone to find another location if possible.BRIDGET E.
Re-train the staff. The man that handled my rental was rude and disrepectful. I was checking in my equipment and he basically rushed me and told me to 'hurry up'. Terrible customer service. If he doesn't like his job he should quit. If I rent from Uhaul again it definitely will NOT be at this Glendale street location.Bridget E.

Had to wait too long for service ..... noticed site short on personnel. Once I got service everything fell into place. To get more "miles to the gallon" you have to create a positive experience not just renting a trailer. A "glad to see you greeting", not having to wait for service, a smile, and enthusiasm.ALVIN H.

When I came to drop the truck off she wasn't even there and the doors were locked and I couldn't leave a voicemail had to put keys in the drop box and call in the next day to make sure she got them horrible experience for someone who been driving so far away. and I didn't get my receiptTAMIEO C.
The only reason I didn't give an excellent rating is because the original pickup location was closed. The dispatcher indicated the business did not notify them that they were going to be closed the day of my pickup - Labor Day. This comment is not really about the service location; it is more about the company policy. I booked a two-day rental just in case I need it for the second day, and it turned out I do not need the truck for the second day. My rental started at 1500 the day before, and I returned the truck at 1530 on the following day. The worker had to charge me for two full-day rentals because I was 30 minutes late due to the restricted company policies. $30 extra on the bill did not bother me. What bothered me is that I felt I was treated like a used product instead of a valuable customer.CHIH L.

This is for all locations in general. How about rewarding frequent U-Haul users? I rent equipment almost on a weekly basis from Uhaul. It would be a great incentive to rent more frequently if there were some type of reward or discount that I could strive for. For example: For every 3rd rental in a 30 day period a customer gets their 4th rental at a discount or mileage waived or extra time added to the rental. Something like that.William L.

Nothing to do with the location but the Uhaul app for self-checkout is absolutely horrible. The app would not let me submit photos. I had to go through the entire process multiple times. When I returned the truck I had the same experience. Thankfully they were open and a representative helped me check out. He said he had trouble with the app as well. The app while convenient in theory turned out to be exactly the opposite.JASON T.

The reservation was for 7am, google waits they open at 8am, their door says they open at 730. 730am rolls around, a girl shows up who is still drunk from the night before and says it will be another 20 min while she counts the change drawer. I already checked in only and just need to pick up trailer since it is for a work job today and I needed it at 7am. Never againNick U.

I reserved a 4x8 cargo trailer for 6/12/21 pickup. Upon arrival on 6/12/21, I was informed by the attendant that the trailer went out on 6/11/21 to an unknown person under my name and credit card number. I am still trying to have U-Haul credit my account for the amount of $109.05 which was prepaid on 5/13/21. I MAY BE CONTACTED AT TEL# 845-323-8348. THE ATTENDANT, CHRIS, STATED HE HAS BEEN EMPLOYED BY U-HAUL FOR LESS THAN A MONTH AND HE HAS BEEN TOTALLY HELPLESS IN THIS BLUNDER. I CONTACTED THE MANAGER, MR. CHRIS MOSLEY ON TWO OCCASIONS, HOWEVER, HE HAS BEEN UNABLE THUS FAR TO OFFER ME A FULL REFUND FOR A RENTAL TRAILER WHICH I NEVER RECEIVED. I MAY BE CONTACTED VIA CELL# 845-323-8348. Security Storage, Glendale Street, Winston Salem, NC - neglected to have someone on site to open the gate to storage facility-( right before a holiday weekend) causing us to have to keep our truck packed and on hold until the facility decided to reopen 2 days later. Because of this I also ended up having to drive 45 miles each way to Greensboro, NC to drop off one load of the packed vehicle at another storage unit and then back to Winston Salem to get the final load so that my daughter- who is a medical student could vacate the apartment she was in by the May 31st end of Lease date. By the storage facility not opening their facility at 7:30 am as per their ad and as per our conversation and agreed upon time on Saturday evening- it created the following : This whole event created great stress- Additional moving time- of 2 days Additional driving time- having to drive to neighboring town 45 minutes away just to get one load off the truck- adding miles to the truck. Additional gas spent due to additional drive time. Security Storage unfortunately really dropped the ball- the guy working the counter on return -appeared totally disinterested- never offered any compensation on their neglectful behavior. I should not have to pay for the unnecessary mileage or the additional 2 days that I was forced to keep the truck - that was fully packed and couldn't unload at their facility due to Security Storage Facility's neglectful behavior.VANESSA D.
