Considering when I first got there the lady seemed kind of rude. But after talking to her for a minute or two she ended up being very nice. We even got a laugh in. Over all I say yes 4 stars.RITA A.

One of the mall staff was VERY rude, he did not offer to help me load my extra large boxes or huge wardrobe boxes and when I inquired about a larger width after bringing back my previous boxes he told me â€œwe have plenty of boxes in this store ma'am you just need to look aroundâ€ and proceeded to help someone else . The lights on the car dolly did not work. We had to go to West Memphis Ark to pick up the truck even though I had made the reservation the middle of June. The gentleman at the call center, Dave, hung up on my son while he was trying to get instruction on how to return the truck to Franklin, Ky(which was much closer to Scottsville Ky). The building it self needs to be up date. When dropping off using the key box,it wasn't properly working. It needs to be repaired. Someone like me with small arms and hand can easily get the keys out. Overall very good and clean equipment, excellent rate, very satisfied will recommend.JANET A.

The representative booked my reservation after hours for in Key in hand pickup. Instead of 24/7 share. I had to sit in the parking lot for 2 hours before I got the equipment due to this. My call was tossed around numerous of times before a young man by the name of Roney was able to help me. That was the worst experience I have ever encounter. Also no Dolly was in the uhaul not to mention the customer service at the location was unprofessional. I drove there 4 times between 12-2:15 to only see a note on the door that said Out to lunch. Once the woman arrived I was able to pick up boxes. I asked her about my reservation she couldn't tell me anything about it. This was the worst experience I had with Uhauls and this will be my last.Kalenseya A.

This location was poorly visible, difficult to locate and across state lines, which contributed to having paid higher taxes than my residing state. In addition, it required me to pay an additional, substantial fee for a taxi since it was much further away. Extremely inconvenient!David C.
2 times I been to the same location first time my pick up was at 12pm the lady at the office snapped on me for being there while she eating her lunch and she made me wait outside till she finished eating her lunch at 1:00pm and 2nd time she snapped on me again saying why do I keep going on her lunch time she don't have time for that , I believe it just racism in that locationMansoor A.
I arrived to drop off my truck at 9:00am but was told I'm too early to come back. I chuckled and gave the rep a look. She then replied I can't check in til 11:00 when it's due back. I handed her the keys and said call me if you need anything. As I walked back out the door I received a call from Uhaul asking when do I plan to return the truck. I received a second call twenty minutes later asking the same thing. At 11:03 I received an email confirmation for the truck return. I've used Uhaul for many years but my last three experiences have been horrible. Customers deserve to be treated well and with courtesy.ANGELA T.

I informed the location I was dropping off my truck a day early but right before closing. I arrived at the location 15 minutes before closing and it was locked up with the Open sign still illuminated. I left voicemail that I would leave the truck and return the next day to remove my lock so the dolly inside didn't get stolen and instead of the staff apologizing for closing early and being thankful for locking down the back of the truck with my lock, she rudely asked me when was I coming back because the truck was parked in front of the store and obstructing their view of the street.Monica L.

The original drop off location was on Barton St. The owner closed at 3 PM and had a note on the door. I called the number to inform her of some information on the truck and she told me that it was not her concern and wanted to know what I expected her to do. She told me to call uhaul and not her. Extremely rude and will never do business with this company. I left and took the truck to a different location. I was over charged for a truck and a truck that I did not reserve. I reserved a 15 ft but had to pay for a 20 ft without my knowledge. Very disappointing.Bryon H.

When we arrived to pick up the trailer the sign said "open" but the door was locked.. We banged and called but there was no one. My husband talked to someone at another location. After about 15 minutes that person advised us to go to another location and gave directions. We followed the directions but never found another uhaul. Another set of directions. More failure to find the location. Promised a reduced charge because of our trouble. Finally this woman told us to go back to the first location because NOW someone was there. By this time we have wasted gas and nearly an hour waiting and searching. We returned to the initial location and a woman was there. She was nice, but would not honor the reduced price. She said she was gone to lunch. I pointed out that there was NO sign that said that. We would have just waited there for her. However WHY does such a company have ONE worker on a SATURDAY??? The is the second time in 2 months there has been a major problem with a uhaul rental at two different locations after never having had a problem in the 40 plus years of renting before this. Arrived 10 minutes before actual pick up time. Place was closed, waited for 30 minutes and finally called uhaul, when I was told someone was sick and someone was on the way to the location.. after another 10 minutes lady showed up and rushed and got my paperwork done and we was finally one the way. I rented a tow dolly one way to San Antonio, tx for $64 plus tax. Due to weather (ice) I was unable to make the trip. I returned the Tow dolly the pickup location. I was charged an additional $ 129.00. The agent on duty made not attempt to help when I expressed my concern about the cost. I am a 20 year Military VET in the Transportation Corp. I have used U haul over the years and contracted U haul for others Soldiers. Based on this experience I will never use or recommend U Haul again.Alvin L.

We arranged to drop off the haul here in West Memphis before leaving our destination. We the haul was brought there we were told that we would be charged $150 to drop it there. Made no sense. We were also told we could not take advantage of the free one month rent on a storage unit at this location although we meet the requirements. We rented the truck from NY to West Memphis and we rented an auto transportHoward H.

I use U-Haul quite often, and every time I rent a truck it is dirty and not clean at all,and any time I say something about it I'm just told they will look into it, so I'm left cleaning the cab and the box, How ever I would be charged a fee if I returned it dirty. As well I returned the the truck with more fuel than was I it when I picked it up- as tho was my fault for not watching the pump while filling up, but I was told very rudely that was my problem not theirs. And it is but as often as I use your trucks I would think a little bit better customer service would be nice, and if I want to keep being treated so negative I may as well rent from Ryder or budget at least I would know that they don't care. I really wish that I would be offered some kind of coupon for always having to clean your trucks before I can use them as well at least a thank you for the extra fuelEDWARD L.
The equipment was damaged. The employee specifically directed to take the damaged equipment, even though I was about to select another piece. This is my second experience with U-haul where I was given damaged equipment to rent. The thing is, I was charged the same as if it were undamaged. I think it is a trend with Arkansas U-hauls to rent damaged equipment to people of color and charge the same rate. I will from now on go to other rental companies to try their service.
