Nancy TalaricoThis was not the location that I originally selected on my reservation and it does not open until 10am on Saturdays (my reservation made a month in advance was for a 7:30am pickup so I could get on the road for my 10 hour move). This site does not allow you to access the vehicle 24/7 like other U-Hauls so you have to wait until the location opens. Being that I had to leave before 10am, I had to pick up the vehicle the night before and find a place to park it. What is the point of having a reservation for a time and place if Uhaul is going to not have it available and only let you know the day before? Location was a storage site, which was run down and only has one person working the front desk. I had reserved a furniture dolly but they didn’t have any. They did not let me know this until I arrived to pick up my U-Haul which was very inconvenient for my move.

Cindy Bovee-KemperI reserved a truck and picked it up on Thursday. Asked if I can return it to the location I was moving to, Lancaster. I specifically asked if that was ok. The lady behind the desk said yes. But when I went to return it on Saturday, I was told that I had to return it back to Charlotte. And if I didn't I was going to be charged $350 miss location fee. Then upon returning the truck the man behind the desk said he doesn't do U-Hal, and I would have to wait until the person who does to return. And that wasn't until Tuesday. Then when I got my bill, not only did they charge me the extra miles (which I was trying to avoid) but they charged me for 3 days. I emailed the manager and he settled my problem. But I honestly think that all personnel should be cross trained in how to do the other's "job" so this doesn't happen again.

Tord KallqvistEverything was great except for the price. The final cost was around $80 for the rental plus $20 to fill up the gas tank. I feel like that was a bit much for the few hours that I needed the cargo van. I will probably not rent one again in the future to pick up Girl Scout cookies. I will just ask someone I know to borrow a truck or trailer. If the cost was more reasonable, I would definitely consider using a U-Haul again.

BRYAN RITTERAgent was very rude and unprofessional. Uhaul agents are normally friendly however that particular person was on July 15th 5 pm was rude and did not want to help the customer. He was yelling with his questions and he gave us the truck with less gas than the actual content. He kept in saying you have to go now because he has to be out of the office by 6 although we came in 530 pm as the reservation was confirmed. No professional service. Would NOT come back. Uhaul customer service department at corporate office should investigate and make sure their representatives do follow the bylaws.

KEVIN BRUBAKERIf you are going to allow a rental to start at 1:30pm, you should make sure that the location that you direct your customers to is actually open at 1:30pm. As well as not starting the rental until the location is open at 2pm instead of 1:30.

Ryan EngWhen I called to book the U-Haul, I asked for and was told my reservation was at a different, MUCH more convenient location to my house. It wasn’t until we showed up at that location, we found out it wasn’t booked there. My father and my husband had to call around to all the local U-Haul locations to find our reservation as I was at work.
