We could not navigate the app when we dropped off truck. The drop off location was closed but someone was there who was somewhat helpful. We parked truck aand left keys in drop box.
JOHN BJackie was great and made the entire process of rental very easy.
JACK CThe entire rental experience depends on having an available KEY for the truck. The key was locked in the gas station garage with no one in sight and I sat there calling and leaving messages for an hour. I almost had to ask someone to come get me from Chicago which would have been a 3 hour drive. Finally a garage employee showed up and found the key and I got on my way. I jumped through a lot of hoops to get to Monticello, and followed every procedure on the app. The situation was very stressful.

peg bThe app seemed to have quite a few bugs which caused it to crash on multiple at pick-up and upon delivery. I was able to walk-in to the store front and get help from them getting the code, fortunately. Very helpful and kind staff!

Andrew SIt took almost 2 hours for the lady to actually run my credit card. The place was unkept and very dirty. Two giant cats just laying around the shop on top of the counters. The lady did not know what she was doing when she took my payment. I would have went somewhere else had I known about this one. This put me way behind my already tight schedule.
Nelson RI was not able to check the vehicle in online when I returned it. I called Uhaul for help and was told to take pictures and call them in the morning. By the time I got up the next day to call them, I was already charged a $25 cleaning fee. This was for absolutely no reason at all, as I have the pictures. I am very unhappy with the return process on this truck. I usually rent between 6-8 trucks a year depending on my needs as I run a small wholesale business.

BARBARA WThere seemed to be some confusion or miscommunication at pick up time. I thought I was supposed to check myself in on line but the provider checked me in. She was very kind and friendly. Everything worked out great. I would recommend U haul.

janet rI called uhaul before my pick up date asking about a ball hitch. I was told I could buy one with my rental and when I showed up, they did not have one to buy. I had to run to 2 stores to get one. I also didn't have an electrical hook up, and I was not given any information beforehand making sure I had all of this equipment. I was an hour late to where I had to go.
Brandi BThere should be a greater emphasis for partnered locations to be going over a contract with the driver, go over the instructions that are printed on stickers on the inside of the cab in case there are questions, and helping to adjust mirrors-basically help to understand the different factors involved since it's so different from most people's cars. There was also an issue of the software/web services available to the woman working at Seben's managing the uhual transaction, where when she entered my address of where I would be moving the map listed my address as being in the Loop rather than the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago that it actually is in, and would not list the locations nearby my actual apartment. Because of this she couldn't select a location and said she would instead select the option where once I got to the area I could find which location was near me and call them and let them know I would be dropping off at their location. This was reflected on the contract and receipt she printed out for me at the top. But when I got home from picking up the uhaul that day I got an email telling me I had a drop off location assigned to me (Lawrence Shell) and when I called to ask if she had changed this she said no she hadn't and she didn't know why that happened. She either lied, or uhaul took the liberty of changing things without checking.
Simone MBigger U-Haul sign, better lighting and marked parking would have helped after sundown. Not a big problem though.
Stephen RStaff noticed my spare tire had low air pressure and they filled it for me. Staff were also willing to wait for me for late pick up if needed.

Erin PWELL I WAS CHARGED TWICE FOR THE RENTAL OF THE UHAUL, AND I AM HAVING TROUBLE GETTING THE MONEY PUT BACK ON MY CREDIT CARD, SO FAR I HAVE MADE TWO CALLS. I AM GETTING THE RUN AROUND ON THAT, SO NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT!!!!!!!!!!!
Elaine SPut a soft cover or at least paint the trailer hitch. It's right there when using the rear cargo door. (My shin is bruised and very sore)
