The return process on line was easy-prepare to take pics for proof of what you're reporting along with allowing them to confirm your location using GPS, but hey, who can blame them! The truck ran smoothly, got the job done and I will use them again.

The mobile app doesn't allow for returns. It errors out and states the picture of the odometer wasn't sent when it was uploaded. I went to the online website and had no problems

They didn't have the truck full to the indicated amount and when I told them about it, they made a note about it and I am still being charged for fuel.

The u-haul definitely hadn't been cleaned, or even just swept out, since it was last used. Had a low tire warning as soon as we turned it on. Actual function was fine. Staff was pleasant when picking up. Ease of return was good.

The service people were friendly which made the experience better but the fact the van that has “one way” on the windshield being required to be returned to the same location was disappointing. Seemed like I was getting taken advantage of due to my immediate need. It doesn't seem right you have to pay the additional mileage to return the vehicle to a location way further than you need as you pass closer uhaul locations. I will definitely be passing on my experience to others as a warning.

I was a little disappointed that there was only a 1/4 tank of fuel. I would rather have a full tank, use whatever, then fill it back up. I left it at half a tank, but maybe you credited me and I missed it. Truck was filthy on the outside and I had to do all the snow removal myself before driving off. Maybe these are all normal issues. Anyways, it got the job done. ¡Gracias!

The knob on the window crank was missing. Made it difficult to roll the window down. The cardboard window sign as was jammed behind the seat. The green tie for the dolly was already busted so I hope I don't get charged since I didn't use it. The vehicle wasn't exactly “clean” but I don't know what the standards are for that since it gets so much use.

The only problem we had was that we were unable to pick up when we needed to because according to the employee working when we were able to pick up, "whoever closed last night forgot to put the key in the box." This cut into our moving time by a couple of hours and also was frustrating as we had help coming early that ended up having to leave only a couple of hours into the process.

There was plenty of space for dropping off the equipment, and service was quick. My only suggestion would be to include signage to suggest where trailers should be parked.

The truck was dirty in the cab. Someone spilled something and didn't clean it up. It smelled like someone had smoked in it before as well. I cleaned it the best I could before I returned it. That wasn't a MAJOR concern for me, just letting you know. I will definitely be a return customer if I need a large truck again.

I needed a "small" truck bigger than a van. They had one but said it was for local use. The gentleman on duty called the regional manager and spoke with him. The regional guy said they would get me a 10 foot truck to use one-way long distance and it was delivered the next day. Over and above the routine really helped me out. Kudos to those guys,

The man I dealt with the last three rentals from this location is just plain rude. He is the guy with the less than normal motivation and a beard and pony tail. He seemed very upset that I interrupted his social rime with the Spectrum guy. I waited a couple of minutes before I asked him if I could pick up the truck I had reserved. He finally took the time to acknowledge I was even there and told me I would have to wait. Remind you he was not dealing with a customer he was chatting with the Spectrum guy. Maybe he needs some training on dealing with the public. Other than that everything else was good. I do not understand why Uhaul needed my card and driver's license twice through text message?

Windshield was so filthy with so many dried on bug guts, and it was raining super hard so I couldn't get out and wash it, and, the windshield wipers needed to be changed probably 5 years ago or more. I don't believe there is a shock absorber on the vehicle, was a very rough ride. Customer service was great. And it did run fairly well. Convenient location.

Communication between the manager and the assistant manager was less to be desired. We rented the truck and were contacted by corporate on the phone and told that we had to change our pickup and drop off site to the Ionia location. We were also told we had to pick it up on Saturday not Sunday as requested. The accommodation for this was to give us our original mileage rate of $.79 per mile. We agreed to pick it up early and go from there. Saturday when we arrived Jason was very helpful, and we asked to leave the truck parked in the lot until the next morning so that we did not add another 100 miles to our bill. He assured us that we could do so and have no issue. The next morning when we picked up the truck we asked where they wanted our vehicle parked until we returned the truck. The manager was irrate with us stating that we did not have a rental that day and that we would have to give back the key, and that we had to sign a new contract and that we had to pay $.99 per mile. When we stated that we had already made the arrangements the day before and spoke with Jason, and that we had a time limit to adhere too, we were just being polite to ask where to park our vehicle, the manager threatened to call the police on us for stealing the truck we had a contract for. The truck had trash under the seats, food and empty bottles etc, and the back had left over debris from the previous renter. We cleaned the majority of this all out before we returned the truck. I am torn as to whether we are impressed by Jason's awesome customer service or horrified by the manager's lack of customer service. Sadly, rental options in our area is limited. This was not the stellar, or seamless experience we expected, making a difficult and taxing job of moving and entire house in 24 hours by ourselves in 90+ degree weather with 100 % humidity that much more stressful and uncomfortable.

I checked in through the Uhaul app. When I opened the lock box it was empty. The key was not in there. Luckily, I arrived a few minutes before the location closed to get the key from the counter. I rented a dolly too which was not in the truck nor did the location have one to give me.
