After coming to the return location, at least five times to straighten out the billing (charged on the wrong card). The gal kept disappearing. For long periods of time, while 4 to 6 people are waiting. The manager came back to work to help. He said he would waive all charges due to the colossal mess, We thought that resolved. Then a charge shows up on my debit card!! The Mgr.said he waived it. 2 weeks later! It shows up & $20 more. I expect him to honor his word & waive the charge!! Tony

The location is in the back of a dirty, cluttered business, and its hard to find the actual U-haul operation (weird hand made signs taped to exterior side doors ?? - NOT what I expect from U-Haul. My negative experience was that the Agent lied to me and charged me for an extra day despite my returning the truck at open of business the next day (my turn in time was end of business the day before). I had called the day before and informed the agent that due to circumstances ( unoloaders did NOT show up) I would be returning the truck that night, but after close of business. I dropped the keys in the drop box, but could not get YOUR software to work on my phone to register the drop off. I then showed up the next morning to confirm the return. Your agent, however, did not bother to show up until an hour after the posted open time - despite having told me that he would be there before the posted open time. The truck was returned clean, in good repair and had more gasoline than required. The agent did NOT inform me that he would charge for the extra day, and indicated that he would not. This experience with this agent has left me with a bad impression - unfortunate in light of the many decades of positive experiences with U-Haul.

Booked everything online and when I went to pick up the truck you the clerk was unable to verify. Link provided did not work. I declined the $14 insurance but when I checked my receipt I was charged the $14. When picking up the truck the parking lot/drop off area was a mess. I would think you would have/provide a fenced area or at least have proper parking. The truck I rented had had graffiti on the side, candy, napkins and fries in the cab and the dashboard was sticky. Gross. The clerk apologized and then said to double check the gas as it might be siphoned during the night. Next time I need a truck or delivery service U-Haul will no longer be my first priority. Very disappointed in your service. I would suggest a branch manager inspect your drop off locations, specifically the Kent location.

Staff never answers phone. Charged me for utility dolly but never provided, Charged me for 24 pads but only supplied me for 13. This was the 3rd UHaul location I had to physically go to (in a ride share) to get the truck that had been reserved for me in Seattle.

Get the employee to know what she is doing and to admit when SHE makes a mistake and not blame it on someone else. It was very a stressful time dealing with her for hours to pick up the truck I had reserved two weeks previously and also considering I was there getting a truck to move my Mom things out of her home because she had passed

We have rented Uhaul many times and the experience is very good! But this time is a very bad Uhaul experience. We rented the car with the Uhaul app and Uhaul did not give us any documents to prove the kilometer of the car we got. We didn't find the right car when we got the key. It was the staff helped us to found the car! After we return the car about three hours, they told us that we ran 122 kilometers! Everyone knows that renting a car is to save trouble, and want to pull things out at once, and people usually choose to rent a car closer to them, and we naturally choose the place closest to my house! As a result, this bad car rental experience was caused. I called and complained that it took a long time to connect, then transferred, and then waited for the call, saying that the manager would call back! We didn't receive the call from the manager the next day. He left his voice mail box, and we couldn't understand what he spoke quickly. Even the phone numbers left were tried out one by one! As a result, he said he was driving and said he would call back, and then there was no news. When we called back the next day, he kept saying that we had no evidence and they couldn't do anything! Okay, let yourself be unlucky! But I'm pretty sure we only ran 48-50 miles! I don't think I will trust Uhaul anymore. Next time, should I get to the odometer to prove how many miles I ran? Then I think you should go and see if you forgot to collect the guest's miles, or if there is a problem with your odometer! Hope the next guest will not be as unlucky as me!

Disappointing. We were not well informed on Uhaul ‘s process at time of reservation and cost over $700 to travel less than 300 miles one way, which seemed extremely excessive. Truck wasn't available where we expected it to be and had to travel out of our way to pick it up. We will search out other rental truck companies in the future.

To ensure the fuel gauge is checked and confirmed by a U-Haul associate in case the previous user takes the vehicle. I was incorrectly charged for fuel (an associate prevented this from happening) because the previous user indicated the incorrect amount of fuel left in the vehicle.

I was scheduled to pick the truck up a 9 AM. The manager said he would come early to check in the truck that was being returned after hours. He did not show up until normal opening time at 10 AM. After he arrived service was very good. I made three calls to customer service. Twice the wait time was over 20 minutes. The other time I was disconnected. That kind of response does not make me feel like a "valued customer"

I had planned on renting from your south Auburn Washington location. I wanted to rent from an actual U-Haul location rather than some grocery store that happened to do U-Haul on the side. Without even asking, my rental was moved about 10 miles from my original location. I arrived to pick up my truck and found that this was NOT a grocery store than happens to rent trucks but rather, a U-Haul franchise that happens to sublet from a grocery store. Ok. That works I suppose. The truck, although it was mostly clean, the windshield was filthy and the wiper blades needed to be changed. The driver seat had worn out and someone stuffed it full of foam so it was terribly uncomfortable. Thank goodness I was only driving it a short distance. The heat and cooling fan would only work on the 1, 2 or 3 fan speed, 4th speed was off. BUT, over all, it was a good truck. If I needed, I COULD have washed the windshield. Would have been nice if the trucks were stored inside a fenced area so they can have the trucks fueled prior to leaving. Sucks to have to fuel before you can even do anything.

I think there should be someone with really good costumer service!! The man that works there is very disrespectful!!!! If he doesn't like dealing with people I dont think he's in the right job. I would definitely go to the Uhaul in Renton highlands next time I need one.

The employee (owner) working the desk - just not a great people person and poor customer service skills. I received a phone call the day before my rental, asking if I would be willing to return the truck to the same location, instead of a one-way rental. The incentives made it well worth it so I said yes. But when checking out the van - the employee apparently couldn't see the changes in the contract? Which seems odd as hell - why would the computers not be talking? Anyway- I was meant to have 4 days to rent, but I agreed to get it back a day early. Well we end up getting the truck turned in after only 29 hours, WELL under 4 days. He comments that I'm late. WTF? But then adds that “don't worry - I knew you would have it back.” Excuse me? I tried to explain how WRONG he was but he kept making comments like “don't worry, I won't charge anything extra.” WTF again? I highly doubt I'll do Uhaul any more favors like this in the future.

The over the phone pick up is a little bit of a hassle. I had to put my drivers license in twice. Once the night before and once the morning of and the other stuff that is required at pickup should be done differently our 7AM pickup took half an hour to complete causing us to not get the truck till 7:30 leaving us with less time with the truck than we had asked for.

I dropped off early at 5:25 pm on 8/22. It says it is open until 6:00 pm, but no one was at the desk so I left the key and a voicemail. It was due by 11:00 am on 8/23.

Terrible location. No help at all. No paperwork given to me, did not sign for anything. No help attaching to vehicle. Terrible service, no fault of young lady, just too many customers for one person to handle. When I called to reserve from the Lynwood Center, they overbooked the first location in Federal Way, had to go to Kent to find the dolly. Ever time I call U-haul, it is at least a 30 minute Waite to get to a live person. What a terrible business model.

The cabin of the truck was really dirty when we received the truck, we reported with customer service before we started driving the truck. We were charged a cleaning fee that we refused to pay when we returned the truck. I checked my credit card and the charge were not adjusted to deduct the cleaning fee. I called customer service and they told me someone from another area would take care of that. I received the final invoice and the invoice is still showing the cleaning fee. What else do I need to do to have this fee removed and my credit card refunded?

My appointment was at 11 a.m. Stood in line for nearly 40 minutes waiting to check out the truck. A very rude employee came in and the clerk was explaining to him how busy it was, customers were not nice, etc. This other employee says out loud, "well I guess parents did teach their kids patience" Number one, THERE WERE NO KIDS waiting to get a UHaul. We were grown ADULTS and paying customers having to deal with the one-man show you guys got running in this location.

There were several people in line to rent a UHaul, like 10 people at 10am when they opened. The truck had trash in it, the back door was very difficult to close, and the truck had no gas when I received it. The woman at the UHaul counter was very kind, she didn't have any time to check the truck before hand.

I had aksed for a handtruck and a dozen blankets. I called and told them ther were missing, I was charged anyway. Inside truck was dirty. I returned my truck over my phone and was charged a check in fee. Gas gauge wasn't where they said it was. Door on the back of the truck was rusted out and hard to open. I was told not to call the phone number on the check in paperwork because they won't answer that line. I was charged for for Insurance when I didn't ask for it. Cheri

I dropped off the trailer at 9:30pm. I went to Uhaul.com/share to return the trailer. When I used the location sharing, I received a notification that my location was not captured. I checked to make sure my location sharing was on and tried it again. Still it was unable to capture location. I call and left a voicemail for the Uhaul at Save U More to let them know I was dropping it off before the 11pm deadline, I still got charged the $20 fee. I will need another trailer soon, I'll try to find somewhere else.

The office was an absolute train wreck of a mess, The employee was in dirty shorts and street clothes. I had to wait ten minuets for service.

The U-Haul rental here is abysmal. I completed all the check-in information online and was told to skip the line and retrieve the keys. They acted like they'd never heard of this, even when I showed them on my phone where it said to skip the line, retrieve the keys, and leave. They made me wait nearly 25 minutes in line, only to get to the counter and try to tell me the truck was already dispatched. I said this can't be correct because I had to visually verify the truck online before I could get the keys. They kept trying to make me sign a contract and give them more information despite the fact they had literally everything they needed already on their screen. Eventually they relented and gave me the keys but this was way more of a hassle than it needed to be.

Everything was great, personal check in and check out...the only thing we didn't notice was the bed of the van had either pine needles or wood splinters on it so the Microfiber couch that we were moving got a little dirty because we had to sit it on it's side.
