Vehicles should be checked before it's rented out. The vehicle was not road worthy and broke down with us at the same time. The location staff was uninformed how to deal with breakdowns and difficult situations. This was the worst experience I have ever had. Extremely unsatisfied. No one has even called back to discuss the situation with us. Totally unacceptable to be charged in full with so much inconvenience and stress.EDNA T.

The tires on the trailer were not checked before pick up. After we loaded the vehicle on the trailer I noticed a low passenger rear tire. Upon checking the tires they all had 50psi except that one only had 20psi. I saw a nail in it too which when inspected by Kal Tire who came out for the repair said the tire was leaking in 3 locations and was not usable at all. Luckily we caught this before heading out on our 800k drive. Could have easily been an accident on the highway.EDWARD P.

There need to be better effort in vehicle inspection. I was faced with 2 blown fuses for the tow cargo as well as another blown fuse for the wipers during my journey.KIRK A.
The previous renters dropped it off after hours with the engine running and lights on. When I showed up at 1 pm the battery was dead and there was no gas. The pick-up location had all morning to charge the battery and put gas in.Jason M.

I would have preferred a smaller 15 foot truck that would have been more suitable, but such was not available or not even provided at that location. The extra charge was about $20 CDN and not enough to be a deal-breaker. Agent was knowledgeable and we got a big truck in good condition. Move and return was smooth. Be aware that there is a $20 charge (USD?) if you return after the location closes. We did not use that. Renters: read the site thoroughly, have a good driver who can check out your truck for defects. We had none. Positive experience.AULI I.

Did not have any dollies or furniture dollies, it would have been nice to know ahead of time. Please figure out a notification system if the location does not carry dollies at all so one can figure out a plan prior to their moving day. Staff were very kind, no complaints there.ADAM E.

This location as no idea how to process Uhaul rentals. It took over an hour took over an hour to book a pick up for the following day. When we arrived the next day, the booking was cancelled. Then it took another employee over an hour to make the arrangements/re-book the booking. The employee advised there was $100 deposit built into the charge. We were booking an in town 24 hr booking and the total price came to over $180? Then when we returned the uhaul - after using 13 miles in town - there was no $100 deposit returned. Just an overall terrible experience. I would never recommend this location and I'd advise UHAUL to provide them some training or uphold some standards and send in a secret shopper to experience what I did. It was the worst. We were moving and did not have the time for this. The only saving grace was that when it was all over, I called and UHAUL issued me a credit for the incorrect charges.BONNIE B.
I booked my U-Haul trip over a month ago and a day before I went to pick it up they told me that they changed me to a bigger size truck because they didn't have the size that I needed and that they were going to charge me for the bigger size which didn't make sense to me. I didn't end up getting charged because I called and made a fuss about it because it didn't make sense that I'd get charged extra when I ordered the smaller one in the first place. I then inquired about a storage locker and they told me that the 5â€˜ x 8 would fit my three bedroom house which it definitely would not but it didn't even matter because by the time I go to the storage unit they were closed even though I thought they were closing at 10. And then had to make other arrangements to store my stuff as I had to come home that day and it was a big hassle and the employees were not very helpful. Ended up being a lot of money more than what I paid for a trip that was way further than this one the first time I used U-Haul. Overall just a bad experiencebeth M.
Maybe you can not charge 130 for a trailer for a day. That is bullshit at its finest really 24 hours and that much is crap. Way to much and all never rent from you againKEVIN Y.

Our truck was defective, a quiet "thumping" sound from the front of the truck turned into a very loud banging, we only managed to get to our house and took it straight back because the vehicle was unsafe for driving and a rdangerous oad hazzard. They refused to waive the cost even though nothing got hauled, saying we traveled 18 Km. Considering it is a 9km drive to my house.PAUL C.

I asked reception lady for $19.95 rental couple times. She neither make sure anything nor gave me any payment receipt and contract. She just charged my credit card. I thought that will be regular deposit. But when I returned the truck, I was shocked. I paid total charge of $80+. I estimated $40 only. I really hate the situation. As a customer I am supposed to get payment payment reciept and contract. She just gave me keys and also did not come out to inspect.DIPEN S.

Booked over the phone. Asked if any other charges and none was my answer. Got there and insurance was an extra. Also we ended up needing an adapter to plug lights in. Even then there was no extra length of electrical line with the trailer so we ended up using it without lights. Our electrical line has always been long enough for any other trailer but not this one. Strap ratchet was very rusty, to the point it did not work. Only after significant effort could we get it engaged. Also it took quite a while to pay for the rental. Overall not a great experience.JOHN B.

First off I reserved a trailer at park street uhaul in regina and absolutely got no service and they told me to go somewhere else cause they didn't want to move a pup that was in the way of the trailer so I went to salteaux junction and they did help me but the staff was not trained on how to complete the computer part of the job so after an hour we together got it and yeah they need to be trained for the lazy people at the park street uhaul store they need to be fired they are not willing to do there job at all I will be leaving a very bad review about them for sure they are lazy and no customer service at all and will not get the machine that you reserved and make you go somewhere else that is not acceptable horrible serviceJAMES B.

Staff had NO idea how to rent a uhaul, I had to do the paper work 4 times and the staff had to ask me how to hook the trailer up. VERY unimpressed. Other locations have taken me 10 mins max to rent, this location took me over an hour.Steven C.
