I faced considerable issues collecting the vehicle as the staff struggled with the systems to release the vehicle to me. Unrelated to the location: my return was difficult in that the app would not allow me to complete the return process, provide photos etc, so I had to drop the vehicle off in good faith that I would not be disadvantaged.Gregory B.

1. Staff needs proper training. - Wasn't clear how to use the system - had issues taking payment. I ended up helping her out. - Printer wasn't working - Did not know what gas the vehicle needs. - No mention of checkout process. After we dropped off the keys is when we realized we needed to take photos of the gauge, etc. 2. Better communication - did not have any rental equipment we requested, and no apologies. We had to go elsewhere to rent. 3. 1/4 gas - we had to go get gas first.CHENG H.
It took me more than an hour just to collect my vehicle from this centre. Nobody was there at the centre to hand over the delivery of the vehicle. When i tried to get in touch with someone they were not able to answer any of my questions and mentioned that they are new so they dont know how to deliver the car and how to bill the total amount. Also I was not told about the billing charges appropriately and abrubtly charged my credit card with additional charges. I booked the vehicle for 4 hours and inspite of getting the vehicle late by more than an hour the agent told me that I will charged late fees if i dont return the vehicle within 4 hours of the original booked time. It was a really bad experience overall. I was charged for almost full fuel tank inspite of me reminding them that the tank was not full when i picked the vehicle. It was not at all organized and nobody had answers to any of my questions. I would never recommend anyone to pick a Uhaul from this location (trafalgar road, oakville).Ankit J.
This location is not only derelict, it is a health and safety hazard to enter the premises. I order the truck over the phone with a UHaul rep and that was good service. That is where the good part ended. When the location called to confirm the pick up they told me that they weren't actually supposed to be working that day but would make an effort to come in. The day of the pick up they were 10 minutes late. There were significant issues with the computer program and this delayed my departure for close to an hour. This is a huge problem when you are working on a schedule. During my booking over the phone, I ordered a dolly/furniture mover. When I asked about that at the location, I was told that they didn't have anything like that available. This was another huge issue because I was counting on that for the move that I was doing. When I confirmed the pick up, I was told that there was parking for my car. When I asked about it during the pick up of the truck, I was told that there wasn't parking available. This again was another huge issue, because I was there on my own. They asked the owners of the property if I could park there and they were unpleasant about it and insisted that I sign a piece of paper saying that they were not responsible for my car. I was so late for my move that I agreed, just to get out of there and get on my way close to an hour late. Again, I cannot stress enough the complete hazard of entering the premises...it was through the back of a derelict building, where in order to get into the "office" you have to step up and on to concrete building blocks, with no handrail and on to a shoddy, falling apart wooden deck. The conditions were deplorable and the customer service seriously lacking! I will never use this location or Uhaul again!SUSANC M.
