I prepaid for a furniture dolly but it was not available at this location. Ralph the manager made several phone calls to other U Haul rental places nearby but none were available there either. He then called a larger office in Albany to ask to have the furniture dolly charge removed. They said they would. Ralph was super helpful and kind and I appreciate all of his extra efforts to make my experience a good one.John M.

The computer was rebooting when I arrived, so the employee could not verify my rental. The gentleman on duty was very helpful and was able to call someone to ensure that I would be able to obtain the rental.Kristen L.

The site and management there were great. U-haul was not. The site did not receive my dolly request until I was picking up the truck - there were no dollies on site.the online system had increased reservation requirements that were unable to be completed by the system on site. And the additional confusion and time was not enjoyable.dawn H.
Give us a map of routes that trucks can ride. I spent hrs host wasting gas a and millibar because I could not ride on the parkway. No one I called was able to help. It was terrible and expensive. Doubled the Mileage.. made the entire experience bad. Then no one at u haul has anything to offer but. Oh no you can't do this and that. You should mandate people have a commercial lic to drive the truck. This way it's clear.. .crystal G.

Website comment (not the rental site): add-on items like dollies need to have an inventory flag just like boxes and other consumables. This location didn't have the dolly that I'd requested, but I had no way of knowing that until I reached the location. The refund was processed, but it took the location owner calling to do that. Seems extremely inefficient and needlessly frustrating.Benjamin B.

There was no one in the office when I showed up at 3:00 PM, though the office was opened until 4:00. I called the office number but had to wait outside until nearly 4:00 PM before some one showed up to check me out. Also, I requested to rent some furniture blankets only to have the attendant tell me they were locked in the room and he wasn't able to get them. He referred me to another uhaul station if I wanted the blankets. Finally, it was clear the truck had not been swept out. But at this point I was so disappointed with this location I just left.Andrew M.

The truck bed had not been swept out, so there was some dirt from a previous move or moves. Otherwise, it worked out great!Mark R.
Since this was not really a Uhaul facility, it was difficult to find and did not have a lot of space. The gentlemen working there was really nice but had no idea how to disconnect or lift the trailer since he didn't have a jack or a wheel cart like a Uhaul location would. I would not list this one for a trailer drop off.Daniel P.

Next time someone registers for a set of furniture pads, PLEASE have them in the truck. I got to my destination and had none of the pads that were on my original registration. Apparently when I checked in, either the guy who rented me the truck or UHaul's system removed these. VERY frustrating. If there were another place to rent trucks, I would use them in a heartbeat. EVERY time I've rented a UHaul there has been some issue. It is seriously ridiculous and would be downright comical if it weren't so freaking aggravating.Daniel M.

I had reserved online requesting a truck, a dolly, and 2 dozen furniture pads. When I asked about the pads he didn't even look at me as he chuckled abs said "oh I don't have those." He had zero intention of helping me figure this out, his only response was to suggest I head over to the other Uhaul. I asked that he call over there and see if they had the pads. I watched him call and his side of the conversation was "OK she'll be over" and when he got off the phone he said to me that they had 5. I had requested 2 dozen! When I got to the other place the manager looked at me and said he had zero. When one guy came out from the back he said he had told the man where I started that they didn't have any, don't send me over! The truck also smelled as if someone had just smoked a cigarette in it. Truck cab was dirty and had melted candy on the seat. The back of the truck was not swept out, there were pieces of broken glass, nails and pay stubs through out the back. Truck came from Saratoga.CATHY J.

When done with this vehicle and was sweeped clean ,we still recieved a phone call about being charged for a cleaning fee that was more then the rental charge.The rental was for 3 hours and 13 miles ,paid 48 dollars and was threatened to be charges 25 more because it wasn't wiped down.In the end manager took care of it and was only following the procedures but I still will not use this company againWILLIAM H.
