Originally I was to pick up the UHaul truck at a different location; but was notified that the truck was no longer available. So, I stopped at Sapaugh to inquire if they had a 15 foot truck. They did, and so I reserved same on Uhaul's website (and was able to confirm with the employee at Sapaugh that they received the reservation). I was able to pick up the truck two days later no issues. The employee who assisted me was polite and helpful.

It's a tight squeeze for bigger vehicles but, he said if we had any problems to let him know. He's easy to find and courteous. I've done business with him before!

The lot where you pick up the trucks is basically a junk yard with trash, furniture and busted cars everywhere. If I can avoid this place in the future I will for sure. The truck wasn't ready for me either and I was unable to pick it up using the app.
Andrew MThis location was very cluttered and dirty inside the store. There were no moving blankets available. U-Haul's were not placed in an easily accessible location. There was a junk car that didn't run blocking access to U-Haul trailers. Shop help had to move trucks to get access.

Bobby VI had to pay someone to take me to pick up the truck and it's about I hour away from my home that was all well but when we got there 10 to 15 minutes early no one was there after almost a half hour on the phone I had to go to another place to get a truck and that took another almost a hour that made me late getting to the house we were moving my daughter from so we didn't get much loaded that night and the next morning we discovered that the truck had a hole in the roof and what we had loaded was wet as well as para of the truck so we had to tape the hole and dry the inside of the truck before we could load that made us even later when we finally got to the place we were going and I had a few minutes I called to let them know I would be a little late getting the truck turned in and the woman I talked to said I would be charged for another day I could Not believe it and ask that a manager call me so far I have Not received a call this has been a nightmare I'm 73 years old and I've never had such an awful experience as I did with U-Haul

Fred WThis location gets a lot of traffic. For example, they only listed one of the trailer I needed, but the guy said to check the serial number because trailers sort of "appear" at night and he hadn't been out to check yet. Sure enough, when I went out to the yard, I saw THREE of that trailer, my rental and two new ones, so remind customers if the site lists no trailers, call and ask.
LEWIS WMy experience was average and overall, I was pleased with the service. The only issue that I had was that I was charged for an extra days use that I didn't use. I contacted customer support and within a few days, the issue was resolved.
JEFFREY SOffice was very dirty, full of junk, and trash. The trailer I was given, was sitting in a field, in a mud puddle. I had to turn my 4x4 on to even get out of the field with the trailer. The right rear tire kept going flat on me. When I called back to sapaughs office I was told it was fine when it left, and to call roadside. Roadside told me 2 hours or more for the nearest assistance to come help. Overall, this was an absolutely horrible experience, and one of the biggest wastes of money I've ever experienced. Will never be back to U-Haul again.

Greg RI would only recommend this place if there is not another place closer as the office looks like a dump and if i had rained, I would of had to drive and walked through mud to get the trailer. Also between the 2 dogs and a cat and a bird in the office which added to the smell, I would not even sit down as I wanted to touch as little as possible in that office. Due to COVID-19 they should have been wearing masks when close to me, but I did not see any masks.

Joseph NThe trailers are parked in a field that is muddy. Thankfully we were able to get in and hook up the trailer. The trailer was encrusted with sandy mud on the outside on the wheel wells. The previous customer didn't clean it and I don't think the dealer checked the condition of the trailer afterwards. As for UHaul...I am SERIOUSLY disappointed! This time, the system was down for HOURS!! This isn't the first time this has happened. It almost makes me want to spend $500 to buy a trailer of my own so we can do what we need to do, when it's needed to be done rather than waiting a day or two until the blasted system is operable. If I had to give UHAUL corporation itself a star rating, it would most likely be a 1 or a 2 at the most.

RICK MU-Haul, like any business, is a balance of cost and performance. Cost/performance are well balanced right now, I really don't see a need to change the formula. Maybe work on the software that is still a bit flaky.

Tim BFirst, the overwhelming odor of cat urine hits you in the face before you even get in the door. Then the sales counter covered in cat hair. Then the cat sleeping in the single customer chair provided. Nothing against cats, but this place was a mess. Sales counter only had a spot big enough to lay the paper agreement on that wasn’t covered in debris, dirty car parts, and, you guessed it, another cat sleeping on a pile of car keys (on the countertop). Guy was nice and friendly, but between his breath, cat odor, and clutter on the sales floor, I’ll stop by the other rental in town first next time. Oh, and if I hadn’t gotten another quote online as an estimate, I would have paid an extra $64 that he quoted me. He matched the online price without hesitation, which makes me wonder...
