Our uhaul experience was terrible as a whole. I'd be happy to explain over the phone. My number is 3365888381. This particular location was strange, I didn't see the sign when I was pulling in. The person that handles the uhauls had to be called & it took awhile to get it all straightened out, but that's a whole different story, not all the fault of where we picked up. For this location, it would be better if it was clear where to pick the truck up. The people were friendly.Erin H.
No issues with the Sandy Cross or Great Stops. The clerk was patient and assistive. Issues: Reservation was confirmed for B N T Tobacco of Durham. -Location was out of business. Uhaul App then sends me to HWY 15-501 Uhaul Facility. After waiting in line for 45 minutes, I was then told no trucks were available at the location (with 8 trucks in the parking lot). The clerk arranged for a pickup but it was 30 minutes back in the direction I had came from in Burlington. I was given 50 miles for my struggles but yet charged for extra mileage. Why does Uhaul confirm reservations at locations where there are no trucks available. Save me the disappointment and grayscale the trucks that are unavailable via the app and website.Curtis C.
Considering that I completed and paid for the reservation online (that included uploading a copy of my DL), I was a bit annoyed that it took long as it did when I arrived to get the truck. As for recommending this location, my standard is not that high to say yea/nea just to pick up a truck.Kerwin S.

It wasn't the most convenient. The operator behind the desk had no idea how to deal with the return, and had to call someone in off-site to take care of it. It took too long to just turn in the van.JIMMY F.

my first time renting from this location and I can't think of anything unless the guy did the rental for us would have come and helped us move ! Lol SuperDolores F.
Have a KNOWLEDGEABLE employee available to receive the Uhaul services... not the employee working the gas station that had absolutely ZERO knowledge of sending/receiving the trucks. He agreed to the gas in the truck when received, then I got charged later for additional charges that I was not responsible for! Then he had to hurry back into the gas station to tend to the stores customers at the register without me signing approved paperwork! The entire returning process at this location was terrible! And he got advise from his manager via phone because, as he stated continuously, â€œI had no idea about this uhaul process!â€Jennifer J.
