I was charged for a 2 day rental, when I should have only been charged for 1 day. My husband was told we would have to return the truck by 4:30. Then the morning of, was told it had to be back before 4pm. When I returned the vehicle it was 3:35. I didn't realize I needed to refill the gas used. I was told I still had time to get the gas, as they close the doors at 4:00. Otherwise, they charge more for the gas. I ended up getting some gas, and got back at 4:00 on the dot. I gave the key to April and asked if I would be charged another day and she told me no. Then when I received my invoice, I was charged for another day. So ridiculous. I will never use this Uhaul again!! Really poor customer service to say the least!!ANGELA F.

Steve has absolutely no customer service sincerity. Very unprofessional, degraded his staff members. Rented me the incorrect uhaul truck. When the truck was returned with the correct amount of gas. April (very nice and proffessional - even though Steve rolled his eyes, huffed and puffed at her, made an embarrassing altercation infront of customers - which was very uncomfortable to witness) she noticed the truck I was returning was never even in the system as being rented out.? This caused Steve to act out as stated above. April said she would fix the error and correct all that needed to be fixed. Such as; incorrect contract, gas amount, and multiple charges to my bank account that were unauthorized. A total of 4 transactions that equaled out to the amount of $445 - this does not include the initial pending deposit of $175. April refunded the incorrect transactions , printed all of the receipts and told me the amount due for the truck was $183.13 - In which I paid in full via cash. I recieved record of this receipt as well. Steve began yelling and raising his voice at April, telling her she was wrong, she doesn't know what she's doing, and cursed at her. Amongst all of the degrading comments Steve made towards April, she remained calm, professional, and once again stated that I was all taken care of, the truck was paid for and there was nothing else needed to be done. When I left the Uhaul location I recieved a phone call from Steve stating that he charged my card an additional $94 without my authorization, and with no proper form of communication. Per "the contract" Uhaul is only authorized to withdraw two payments to the card on file. My card was now charged a total of 5 times without my permission. If Steve had just called and informed me of the "new charges" I would have turned around and paid cash -- because my account already had so many pending payments and refunds, from this uhaul location, I was unsure of the actual amount going back into and coming out of my account. I asked Steve to please explain the new charges, he would not, and said the gas level was incorrect and I owed more money -- keep in mind the initial contract I signed was for a different truck -- Steve had no real reason and/or explanation so he hung up on me. I returned to the uhaul location and was yelled at and told to leave; by Steve. I asked for a print out of the new charges and transaction history. He raised his voice,, and yelled,, " I'm not dealing with her. April don't help her, she can call Uhaul to figure this out." Thankfully, April printed my new receipt for the charge of $94 and my transaction history. About 2 hours later I received multiple emails from this uhaul location in which 2 new contracts were emailed to me, and 4 other receipts of transactions, and refunds!?. A successful business incorporates effective communication, friendly customer service, and to have correct information with informed staff. Steve does not possess any of these attributes. He treats people like dirt. My 1 yr old son was with me and began crying when Steve was cursing and yelling at April. I now have $120 of overdraft fees and no money has been refunded to my account. I definitely contacted Uhaul corporate and am now on a waiting period of 72 hours to recieve a phone call from the regional manager to resolve all of the unauthorized overpayments taken from my account. Uhaul corporate customer service reviewed the transaction history, new contracts that were sent to me after I returned the truck and noticed that all of the history and payments were questionable and did not look right what so ever. I hope this is resolved soon. April deserves praise for remaining proffessional, and courteous while working and dealing with her fellow co-worker, Steve. I am very disappointed and have incurred bank fees that are completely unnecessary.JESSICA L.

Very bad customer service, not wearing mask, not welcoming and the agent said i will charge you since i went over by only 4 miles, I asked if he could wave it but he is rude,, If you look at my account i rent uhaul almost 5 times in a year for longer distance, This location gave me a bad experience in general.MOHAMMED K.
Give them the rental for the time they need please. If you already have a customer with equipment make sure the client is taken care of all though that clients task please. When people use rental equipment it's because they have business they need to do and hard work that needs to be done. Myself I want to know that I can depend on the equipment is available for the whole task to get all the business done. Instead this happened at 2 locations where I rent the truck I load the business it was exhausting so I asked for an extension instead of being taken care of I was told no. That some other client had to have that truck. Well it was full of my business or my personal belongings everything that some people have I couldn't just put the whole truck load outside so I got another from a different location made the transfer when I rent the first I was told about a credit guess what no credit over charged did double work bad business when I got the truck way below E like so below E it's concerning infact I 6 gallons guess what still on e light still on so I just gave that place 6 free gallons of gas cause I bet they suck the gas out by hand I hope. Gas is expensive so now I'm in for all that gas plus over charged plus forced into another truck was forced to take a dolly I never use them I didn't know it was there it was never mentioned to me I had to move this dolly outside the truck all the time it's been raining it got mud on it from it rolling around to the location to return the 2nd truck it got in the floor I didn't know I was there with the uhaul business associate the entire time instead of giving me the courtesy to take care of it tried hiding it. To me when someone does that they know and just don't care about their already clients. I literally said why would you do that and not say anything let me please take my shirt off and wipe down the mud please I don't want to lose more money for something I was forced to take in the first place. It's not cool when you can see that the uhaul business associate enjoys these money wasting of others. They also told me I couldn't extend the rental also and did the same as the other and put someone else first after already getting their money bad business and not good at all showing no good faith in making sure the clients personal belongings and business is safe at all. I needed it for 24 hours I was told no you have to return here at this time cause this customer isore important than you cause your already gonna get over charged. As I was both times. If I say I still need it I have to pay for 24 but get told no you can't have it you have to return it at this time what ever they want why is that . I mean are they just lazy and won't go get. Another at a different location. I have returned a truck 30 mins late and get charged for a full day and insurance and they laugh about it. All n all uhaul or you all is trash and can't do good business they want to burn steal and take from good hard working people.that do this do this all the time. That's over charge force people to return a rental when they couldn't finish the task forceing a full day when only partial. Taking gas making other people pay for their stealing honestly I was so overcharged I will never use uhaul ever gain I would have been better off hiring a mover with their own truck I know I will tell everyone I come across I am going to put up flyers everywhere just so they don't get scammed out of moneyEDWIN D.

2 complaints: 1) no indoor seating or shelter from cold wet weather. 2) I think that U-Haul's new policy to charge their full rate for only eight hours of rental is ridiculous! They charged me for 2 missing dolly's that were in the truck. One was clicked into the truck. I didn't see my invoice until I got home. This was either a mistake by the front desk lady or a scam.TY B.

Poor customer service. The lady who was helping me (and other customers) needs to learn and have better communication. She does not have friendly customer services. The older gentleman is worst. He was cussing with frustrations in regards to his computer while customers were in the waiting area. I find this to be very rude and disrespectful. I hope that management will find a way to improve their staff's customer service skills.WANG M.

I rented a 14 foot truck DC 3905H yesterday . As I was driving the truck I heard a rumbling noise from the underneath of the truck which was quit scary. So I figured this truck has some mechanical problem which UHaul renting facility apparently don't check the truck after every rental returns. So I called the renting dealer or shop and expressed my concern. She said you need to call the roadside service to help you. I told her that I'm pressed for timing because the warehouse was closing and I couldn't waited for the roadside service because I knew they will take hours to come for assistance. Since the truck was unsafe to drive I had to return it back to the same location and told of the situation. The guy got underneath of the truck and said of the truck has mechanical problem which means the differential was bad. This guy without offering any kid of apology and was telling me very in rude manner that I should not have driven the truck if noticed that there something wrong. I asked if I borrow his yellow highlights he just throw it for me in a rude way. The worst customer service ever I received today and got full charged as well. I will be calling the head office tomorrow to speak to the area manager.ALLAH S.

I returned after hours. I appreciate that this location supports after hour dropoff. Only minor issue is the signage is a little confusing, it shows the correct address but with an arrow pointing down the street. It took some time to figure out i was in the correct spot. I had a follow up question the day after returning and the employee that helped me on the phone was outstanding, very friendly and effecient.Kenneth S.

The car hauling trailer was not properly maintained. When I returned the trailer and showed the 70+ year old guy in the office, he immediately became agitated, loud and rude. I suggested we go out and look at the problem. We did, proved I was right. The man remained angry.GREGORY W.
