Parking lot had no lights or signage. I walked around the whole parking lot looking for the keys. When I did find the keys, the lock was jammed and took so much thumb strength that I was sure it was either broken or I was doing something wrong. The instructions in the app were also written with English grammar that was difficult to interpret the true meaning of. This bad experience was preceded by another an hour earlier where my 24/7 reservation was messed up in Berkeley. I was practically forced to drive almost 100 extra miles that night (2 round trips, one in my car and one in the uhaul) because of this silly mistake on the part of Mail Boxes Plus in Berkeley. Overall an atrocious night. I should have returned my truck by 930 with the Berkeley reservation.. a simple couch move. Instead I was driving until midnight between San Ramon and Berkeley. :/

24/7 rental was not ready at the time of pickup (9:30); I had to call U-Haul direct so they could reach out to the location and have someone “come downstairs to help me.” I left a half hour late which impacted my schedule that day. The representative never apologized during this interaction. I cannot recommend this specific location to anyone. I will not be back.

Spoke with someone on the phone about this location and the helper on the phone told me this location was open on the day i wanted to return the vehicle. I get there and they are closed for the day. I was lied to by u-haul phone help people and it took me well over an hour to figure out how to return the vehicle using your method of key drop off which did not work on my phone so i had to ask a stranger to use their phone and for some reason it worked on theirs. Not happy with any part of my return experience. super unhelpful.

The truck with slightly messy from the inside and splashed dirty from the rain mud on the passenger side. Staring wheel was sticky from the dirt and sweat. Had to sanitize prior driving. Customer service was great and representative did excellent job explaining and recommending proper selection. THANK YOU! Will recommend SR U-Haul location and will gladly be back!

I came to return the UHAUL and drop off the keys and I noticed that the lights were still on in the office. And when the employee (male) saw me - he immediately turned off the lights and acted as if he was not at the front desk working. SMH. In the future I suggest, either clock out when the office is suppose to be closed OR actually help the customer if your lights are on. Kind of unprofessional and lack of customer service! ¡Gracias!

There is a charge for 2 more gallons of gas even after after the vehicle was filled up more than whe it was picked up. The original tank measured at less 1 stripe from half a tank. We filled up more than a half tank before returning. I checked on Yelp, and this location had done the same thing to other customers. Please refund the charge on the gasoline that is not right. 1. There was delay in picking up the van as there were no attendants available at the office when I arrived. I had to call and wait for sometime. If someone could have contacted me to inform ahead of time would have been better. 2. The vehicle's tire pressure was low, so had to take it to a shop to get the air filled which took some time in the midst of heavy rain. Someone should have checked the vehicle for any warnings and get it rectified.

The U-Haul barely had any gas in it. Luckily my boyfriend noticed when he did or he would have run out of gas and had been stuck on the side of the road. We returned the truck at night and it was pitch black. There was no light so it was extremely difficult to complete the return, take pictures, etc. It was also difficult to return the keys to the office because it was so dark.

The storage facility staff are nice and the place is secure, however rats got into all of our stuff and a lot of our furniture is now ruined since it is covered in feces and urine. We did not have any food or drink stored in our unit, so I am thinking maybe they went after some cleaning supplies or something. Unless you can store your things in a rat proof container, I would not recommend storing it here.

UHaul offices should not be closed during business hours! There should always be a customer service rep behind the counter. Mobile check-in was great, but I had questions and needed help. Since the office was on "vacation" for a week, I had to wait on hold for 10 minutes to be connected to a customer service rep on the phone!

We were unsure what time we would get off work when we made the reservation. We were told set it to the earliest time and pick up any time after that. We were not told to adjust the reservation time for later pick up. When we attempted online pick up, 2 hours after reservation time, it didn't work. After a 96 minute wait for customer service, we were told pick up had to occur within 30 minutes of reservation time. Customer service agent had to reinstate reservation. then all worked.

Be open, its ridiculously stupid that no one is working in the office. You're online/remote pickup of your uhaul vehicle is excruciatingly painful. Way too many screens, way too many problems that arise. I had to call customer service and wait over 20 mins to get someone on the phone to help me as I was sitting in the uhaul parking lot. She even said to me that I hit just about every issue you can hit with this experience. Anisha out of Phx was great, very patient and very helpful. Hire more people in your customer service call center, as waiting over 20 mins to get someone on the phone is just plain stupid and bad for business!!!!!

The rental pickup location was specified about 15 miles away from me and I requested a 9am pickup. Two days before my rental, I was notified of a different location which is nearer to me, but the pickup time remained 9am. When we went to the pickup location, there was no one, it was basically a storage facility doubling as a UHaul contractor (I presume). But they only open at 9:30am. Why wouldn't your software check their hours of operation and amend the pickup time also accordingly? This is either bad programming or careless attention to details. I am all for software automation, but the people developing the software should also know who their customer base is. 30+ minutes of our time wasted for lackadaisical software developers.

My experience with UHaul was HORRIBLE!! Not with the people at the location but the customer service with the representatives whom I called for assistance at the local traffic division.
