Chevy vans are extremely small and uncomfortable for any large driver. Storage company would not let us park our vehicle on their property for a two hour rental had to park two doors down at a Bowling Center. They were concerned about the liability of our vehicle on their property. Bring van back to the property and tells me they rented us the wrong truck…. Gave us a different renters vehicle. Had to wait 20+ minutes for the attendant to figure out what to do. Had to call a manager offsite. I just agreed to a somewhat decent final price to get off the property and continue on with my day. Agreed to $72.00 and I get billed $72.06

Ariel and her coworker We're very helpful. I had to call Uhaul support for a question and the agent canceled my order and caused much frustration Ariel called other locations to help me and had solutions to make the rental work for me. She went out of her way, not always the case in my experience over the years. This location is difficult for my future rentals due to the location hours but if possible I will look to rent there when possible

The truck was very dirty inside and out. Inside, there were food crumbs all over. Durning this time, you would think you'd take extra measures to clean and sanitize.

Contract said to return vehicle by 7 pm. I arrived at 6:45. Location was closed. I called two numbers they had listed. Got answering machines. Called another U-Haul location. They informed me the location closed at 4 pm. Call d U-Haul customer service. They tried to call the owner. No response. My car was locked behind a gate and I had to return the vehicle the next day.

No one was there. I was told to have the truck back by 9:45am, and I did. When I got there, there was a sign on the door saying the office was closed due to a scheduled power outage - but the lights were on and the door unlocked. I couldn't find anyone around. I called the Lancaster facility, and they took notes.

The left back tire was low. I had to fill it up three times on my trip. Also, the process took 30 + minutes to pick up the truck.

The tires on the truck we rented were low. The message on the dash said the left rear tire was low. I asked if it was still 19.99 for a day, was told yes but when I got home and looked at my contract online it shows even though I checked the truck out at about noon I had to have it back in by 4 pm, not even close to 24 hours, 1 day. When I spoke tp them I was told it was my responsibility to read the contract and call them. The only problem is I didn't get a hard copy they sent it via e-mail and I didn't have my computer with me. Didn't see the 4 pm until I got to my house and had to frantically try to finish my business and return the truck by 4 pm. Did not finish my move. very disappointed, when did 24 hours move to 3.5 hours??????

The van that I rented was very dirty inside and outside. I mentioned it to the staff and they adjusted my bill for the inconvenience. They explained that the person who has been cleaning the vehicles had failed to show up as required. That they were addressing the issue and I was happy with how they handled it.

The truck was filthy. Couldn't even see out of the windshield. Stopped to clean the windshield and both windshield wipers broke off from rot! One hour out of Vista had a blowout in Hemet. One hour wait in 100 degree heat for repair. Repairman was SUPER. Tires changed in 10 minutes!

I rented a van for 1995 for a day. We had it back in 3 hours fully fueled.We were overcharged for 2 days. We called and the clerk said he would email. No email. I called the next day and said the bill charged us double. He said he would correct it and email us. No correction, no email. He was asleep when we arrived and "having lunch" when we returned. We have used this location several times over our 20 years in San Marcos. Never again. Terrible!!! Now I will have to reach out to the corporate office.

The drivers rear tire was completely flat upon pickup and they had to blow it up with a portable compressor. They said we'd be fine and then the engine sounded like it was going to blow up every time we braked.

Better customer service, the process getting my truck was very very slow. The person did not walk to show mw gas tank and it was at 3/4 full . My extra items the I did request were not ready and they were incomplete. When I did turned in the truck I have to fill the gas tank in full even when I did not received full. I will nwve go back to this office./

I was overcharged $20 for gas. Contacted People who rented me a truck. Showed them pictures of odometer and gas level at the time of rent and return. They agreed that I was overcharged but would not refund my money back to me. I stopped by twice at the office and only here the promises. Also, contacted customer service and email pictures of odometer and gas receipt. Never heard back from customer service.
