I wish I could remember the name of the young lady that help me but things went wrong she was so encouraging and completely helpful. I hope they hold on to this person for she is worth a lot. I received my final bill and was amazed that they went out of there way to help me on cost. This is a great service in Friday Harbor. If there where ten stars I would give it to them. Thank you.

Although we received a confirmation, our 20’ truck had been given away. After a lengthy discussion in which owner denied responsibility, we almost had to force him to rent a 10’ truck. He then let us have a 12x6’ trailer to rent. But, the clincher was, we then needed to buy a different style trailer hitch to the tune of $45 We had already made reservations on the ferry and given up our storage unit. All in all, quite a frustrating and expensive trip. The owner said he only holds reservations for 24 hrs. ( we had reserved the truck on July 6). This was the second time this dealer has given away a truck that we reserved. And...the necessity of buying a different sized hitch fo $44 added to our bad experience

I reserved via the corp line, I was told they only had 1 cargo van to reserve, more than surprised and frustrated when i arrived to p/u van, there were 7 15' trucks in the lot. Some small town bs story about not having a guaranteed reservation system for upcoming reservation, something about having to call 72 hours in advance instead of a week out, to guarantee there'd be a truck... needless to say, small town didn't play well with corp inventory of vehicles. WHAT can you do to improve? Have an accurate inventory being shared with corp, to give accurate availability of vehicles. Thanks for listening..

I had excellent service. They went above and beyond for me. In our remote area, an island reachable by ferry service or plane only it is great to have them offer such a variety of UHaul vehicles.

Friday Harbor u-haul is a horrible agent for your company. Wrong trailer and reservation date and owner could have cared less Had to use a trailer wau too small for project and had to load furmiture in truck bed and tarp it for the rain. I will never use u-haul again especially if this is how your agents attitude is..

Uhaul should help dealers become more knowledgeable about their products, especially optional things like insurance. This is the second dealer that tried telling me the insurance charge was a per day charge, when in fact it is a per rental charge.

It may helpful for individuals who are moving heavy furniture or items, if the U-Haul location was able to supply a list of "suggested" moving helpers to the customer. It would be the customer's responsibility to contact the moving helpers and hire the individuals of his choice.
