This rental was guaranteed verbally by the gentleman I spoke with/booked with for 24 hours with pick up at 11:30 on 8/9. I was closing on a house and wasn't sure what time I could get it. The larger truck had to be returned by 8 am Saturday morning so I took the smaller truck knowing it may take 2 loads. Upon arrival I was informed the truck had to be returned that night as it was booked for 8 Saturday morning and with a full tank of gas although it was not full when I received it. She backed off that and said only as full as when I got it. No discounts for the inconvenience only they do what they want. I also had to provide 2 family members information to get the truck which was not told to me when I booked it. I guess it's a good thing I still have family!

Truck was filthy , gas lid had been left off , would barely run. Had to unload the 6x12 trailer myself as the only person at the lot said he couldn’t lift the trailer. Was not advised I was only allowed so many miles

The following comments in no way reflect on the actual rental location: The whole rental from start to finish was a disaster. They canceled my reservation twice, the first location did not even have my reservations , and the man was rude. When I called uhaul they never called me back, leaving me to try to find my own truck. Next time I will look for another rental co.

UHAUL let me book and schedule pick up for 7 am and said I could use my phone to pick up. However, the shop didn't open until 8am. I was not able to use my phone and we had to wait until after 8am. I had ordered blankets and a dolly, the website said these items would be on the truck upon arrival. They were not and we had to once again request the items and then put them on the truck. Everything just took longer than expected. Considering the website said everything would be ready for pick up and let me select the time. Seems the website needs to be updated with this particular address and their hours etc.

I have been charged twice. When I called the place I rented from, they told me I would have to call UHAUL and speak with them. I have called twice & was on hold for over 25 minutes each time before hanging up. I can't be on the phone like that from work. I tried Live Chat, no one ever responded. Email, no response. I want my money back! I feel like the place I rented from should be able to help me or they should call and find out what happened.

I was not aware we had left anything in the truck. I did not get the message until I got up which was 9 am. We would not have intentionally left a very expensive rug in the truck. We were under a tremendous amount of stress because we were moving my mother to assisted living. I want to see pictures of the burned rug.

I've rented from.uhaul quite a few times and this was by far the worst. The truck was in need of patience it shook as you were driving felt like it needed a alignment or new tires, the ramp was extremely hard to pull out and even harder to get out to where it was even with the back of the truck, the windshield had a crack in it, and then i was also charged for a additional 3 miles that i did not use, i reset the trip mileage before i even moved and when i pulled it back in it was at 83.6 and i was charged for 86.4. I will not be returning to this location ever again. Not to mention when i arrived to pick my truck up the guy told me that i had already picked it up. He apparently gave someone else the truck i was supposed to get and charged my card for it before i even was there. Luckily a uhaul representative was there and had to switch the trucks around but I still did not like the fact that someone else was able to pick up a truck that was not theres and charge my credit card for it without me even being there.

The location was difficult to find, and it took me a long time to receive the help because the computer was not functioning well. I was frustrated with not being able to use the payment method I had been told I could use, and while the gentleman was courteous, I found the entire experience frustrating.

Initial scheduled to return at Pearls in Mount Washington, KY. People were rude and disrespectful. Left and turned in another location. I have rented 3 times this year. Pearls is less than 1/2 mile from home. Never go there. Sams Stor All is great.

We were surprised by how bumpy the truck was when we were driving. I can't imagine driving that across the country. I'm not sure if it was just our truck or not, but it was definitely a rough ride.

Actually have a uhaul trailer available in Bardstown. This is 2 times in a row that I've rented a 6x12 trailer and had to go an extra 20 miles to pick it up and drop it off. Not good customer service.

It took me 3 weeks to be able to get the dolly. Every time I tried to pick it up something was broken and they would try to get me to go to another location that was 30 or more mins away. Then the address I got via text from u haul was in the middle of a 4 lane highway. The actual pick up site was 2 miles away .

The only problem that I had was that when the lady called me to let me know that I had gone a minimal amount of mileage over (I think that it cost me less than $2.00), she had also told me that the gas was 1/2 a tank (which, I overfilled it on purpose) instead of 7/16. She kinda acted like this was a problem, and the conversation went on and on for a few minutes. Anyway...the $2 for the mileage was charged to my card, but doesn't it cost you more than that to charge the card anyway?

I think the fuel gage was broke, it never moved wasn't sure how much fuel to put in, i felt the lights were too dim especially when it started storming, felt unsafe driving in the rain
