This has got to be one of the worst locations in town, homeless and drug addics coming up to me the whole time I was trying to do the online check in. Very scary. Doing away with the human piece of the uhaul check in, was a little frustrating, no one to talk or get answers from. I also orders an appliance dolly but there was a utility dolly in back. The difference in price is 3$ and it wasn’t worth my time to be in the ghetto snapping pictures and attempting to contact someone from halfway across the country. I’m done with uhaul, I’ll take my business elsewhere

I will never use the mobile method again. Because I paid ahead of time, my pickup location was changed 16 miles away from my house the day before the move. I called Uhal and received no apology even though I booked the truck 2 weeks ahead of time for the closest location to my house. Once I arrived at the new pickup location, which just a gas station, I was told that there was no one on site to help as I could not get the mobile method to work, and I would have to call a number to get ahold of someone. Well, no one was there at the number posted. I finally was able to get the mobile method to work, and it took over 25 minutes to fully work. You have to get a CS rep to verify everything, and this is what took the longest time as they were not responsive. This was a horrible method to choose, and I will not be using the mobile method again. You really need someone in person to speak to for buggy situations like this.

The uhaul associate arrived right at 9 but then needed to boot up his computer before he could check me out. Then he finally figured out that My truck was not checked in from previous renter upon arrival so there was delay while he did this. Then we opened the truck to check it out and reeked of cannabis. Took 30 min to get checked out. I had moving crew waiting. Windshield wipers screeched the entire day and we’re so worn out that It wouldn’t clear the water. Truck was dirty inside cab too.

I am appreciative of the non-rental customer service reimbursement due to a late show of the u-haul rep. However, I am somewhat taken aback by a charge for 2gal which could have only been 1gal given that I drove 13mi total. $4.50 for a gal is somewhat above market rates ... I'll make sure to top it up *beyond* what I received it at next time. Overall - will do this again.

Customer service agent seemed to be stoned or something. We were told our truck had been slept in by homeless people overnight, so they had to give us a different truck. There were numerous trucks available, why even tell us that? Then truck was pulled up and it was not clean. Agent did clean it, but it still reeked of cigarette smoke. Back of truck was not clean, but we were delayed enough already so took it. Was told we could not have a printed receipt. Overall very weird and unsettling experience. Will not use this location again.

Taylor was excellent to deal with - there where a few check in issues and he stayed with it until there was resolution.

Poor location in bad place in Bellingham. Operators were not there during normal business hours to accept the vehicle. I left messages at 1 hour intervals that were never answered. No one at Uhaul (800 number) could give me a clear answer as to what to do accept to find someplace else to leave the vehicle at my expense.

Be a lot more "up Front" about costs - $19.95 small truck rental is a "come on" offer - My billing was $65.00 plus! Let's disclose your .99/mile rate for mileage and give a "reasonable estimate" SHAME ON YOU!

You need to pull your agreement with the U-Haul location Baker Creek Public Storage. I had a reservation at 10:30 on Saturday 9/23/17. I called to move it back a bit and was told they closed at 10:00. He claimed he didn't need to honor my reservation because "I'm not a U-Haul employee". We were able to find a trailer at another location, but this was potentially disastrous for getting a kid moved in time for college. Unbelievably unprofessional. We had to extend our need for the truck twice due to complications with the rental agency. The U-Haul office was very understanding. A pleasure. I recommend this dealer.

Charging me an extra day because I was 40 minutes after the 24 he period, not good. I didn't even use the trailer that by the way was full of cardboard. The owner was suppose to be there when I dropped it at 3:20 pm . Should have been there until 4pm. Guess he had better things to do.

The truck was caked with bugs, even on the windshield, when we picked it up. We had to immediately clean the windshield. There was trash all over the inside of the storage cab. If you are going to charge people to keep the trucks swept, your owners need to supply clean trucks. Also, the owner of this location arrived 20 minutes after the scheduled pick up time. It was impossible to tell that the coffee shop this location is run out of is a UHaul rental location. Put a sign on your door. Clean your coffee shop. It looked disgusting on the inside.

Only downside at the return was that U-Haul is not the top priority of this business. Only one staff person, so I had to wait until he finished with his main business work, before he would shift to handling U-Haul customers. I did not receive any credit for return of unused, unopened packing materials. Location was good, but this slowed me down a little bit at the return. Not Excellent, but Above average.

The Samish Way Chevron (actually the coffee shop next to the Chevron) location was able to supply me with a truck when another location dropped the ball and did not have my supposedly reserved and confirmed truck (or any truck at all). The attendant at Samish Way was able to fix a mess that other people, including apparently someone higher up in the U-Haul chain of command, royally screwed up. U-Haul should be thankful for the front-line guys who know how to fix things and work with customers, and the Samish Way location has at least one.

We originally chose a UHaul location in our small town. But since it was a holiday, they chose another location. The location was about a 40-minute drive from our home although there was a larger facility much closer and open on Memorial Day. The owner of this UHaul location was about 20 minutes late for work. We had to wait and contacted Scheduling who found another location for the size of truck we needed. We were concerned because we had loaders scheduled to show up at our house at a particular time. Just before pulling out the owner showed up, so we went with it.

Update your software so it's clear that the rate is daily up to 24 hours, but that if you choose to rent a truck for less than 24 hours you are obliged to return it after the number of hours selected. Update the information on this location so that the hours of operation are correct (opens at 8 not 7) and direct people to the coffee shop, not the cheveron station.

The owner provided great assistance with the trailer, but failed to integrate a $31.00 credit into the rental contract that the central U-Haul Customer Service Rep on the #1-800 number guaranteed a credit of $31.00 if I returned the trailer to Tacoma, WA instead of Bremerton, WA. The credit was even pointed out to me by the local U-Haul franchise owner on Samish Way (Bellingham, WA) in a notes section on his computer. When I inquired about the alternate return location credit of $31.00, I was informed it would be adjusted in Tacoma. However, when returning the trailer in Tacoma, I was informed that since it was not reflected on the contract in Bellingham, WA there was nothing they could do. While at the Tacoma local (Pacific Ave) U-Haul I was advised to contact the #1-800 phone number, which I did. The CSR stated the same answer but would refer the matter to a supervisor for review and to expect a return call in 1-3 days. Needless to state, I am perplexed by the lack of communication between the U-Haul corporation customer service and local rental locations. I look forward to an expiditious resolution of this matter. The guy at the pickup location was awesome and so friendly. However, the person on the phone who helped me with reservations gave incorrect information and caused much delay. It was stated that the covered trailers were 8 feet tall inside.

Really frustrating that when we want to pick up a truck from a desired location but am told that we have to pick up from a different location. And then they don't have all of the supplies that were needed. Causing us to have to go to two different locations which took about 1 1/2 hours to do, when we needed that time for moving.
