Owner was very helpful and made the rental pick up and drop off very easy.

Johnny H.Rude location. All the guy yells is call U-Haul he can't help. Even when I was talking to friend. Location needs better customer service. 100% don't recommend. Also ordered Dolly, but there was no Dolly on the uhual. Second the mobile pickup is horrible. Please fix the app it crashes a lot. I tried it on 3 devices and all had the same issues. Also when completing the paperwork if you close the app or if it crashes you can't finish the process I had to call customer service a minimum of 10 times.

Gregory G.Very poor service and sketchy character of owner. I read the poor reviews before booking, but gave him the benefit of the doubt. I booked my 2-day service for a time when he was open because I thought maybe the reviews were poor because of miscommunication. He closes at 3 and I scheduled for 2:30. I received a message at 1:30 that my uhaul was ready and it could be picked up. He was closing early at 2:30. I had scheduled at a specific time because we wanted to wait until my husband was off work and we could take one car. So, my husband had to leave early so we could pick it up. In the office, we discuss our 2-day rental and specifically ask what happens if we need an additional day on Saturday. He says "no problem, just call." So, he is aware we are booking a Wednesday at 2:30 into a Friday at 2:30. We pay $145 in the office (2 days of $39.95 + Safe Move of $28 + estimated 40 miles at $.79 + tax) , we take keys and leave. On Friday morning, I get a message that we are late and will be charged a fee. Mind you, we have just spent 2 days moving and we close on 2 houses that day, so I do not have the energy to deal with this. We call Scott to discuss where the confusion is and are met with a very rude, unnecessary response. He charges our card for the $56 extension --which we didn't need. And keeps repeating that it is "out of his hands" "that's what your contract says" "take it up with uhaul." Going into the account, it appears that he had changed the reservation to 1 day rental and no insurance (at $87), thus needing an extension. So, what was the $145 for? He couldn't explain it. And continued cutting us off with his repeated lines. So, I screenshot everything. We take pictures of everything--gas pumps, gas gauges, photos of the truck, times when we dropped it. And we make sure that Scott understands we are doing it. Then, suddenly, the $56 extension falls off my card. He is shady AF. The uhaul itself was amazing. The service at Salt & Pepper Outdoors was awful. Book at your own risk. It's not ignorance or miscommunication. It's conniving behavior and made for unnecessary stress on a day when we closed on 2 houses.
Holli G.It was supposed to be a rental for 19.95$ and I ended up paying 104$ for five hours of use and I brought it back clean with more gas in in then how I got it, so what are the extra charges for? Insurance? If so that's what, 14.00 tops. I'm not a piggy bank for you to pull out whatever you want. I'll check out enterprise next time
David H.We had extreme difficulty completing check in for pick up in the website it took almost an hour and we had to enlist the help of 2 different customer service representatives. They were very courteous and helpful, but something just was not working right on the website. We had to enter the alternate contacts two or three times, but didn't realize that it kept losing the information. Thinking we had done all there was to do, we called customer service only to find that we still needed to add contacts. Very frustrating.

Charged for 80 plus driven when i moved 1.5 miles from my old address. No where near 80. Thirty at the most. I was charged 86dollars to my card then another 76 to the card. Everything cosf me 161 dollaes for a one day 39.99 dollar truck rental. Never again renting from uhaul never
MICHAEL C.Your 24/7 process takes entirely to much time when the customer is ready to pick up the truck and get to work. Very frustrating to have to enable location and other features. A lot of the information could have been completed before pick up.

JEANNIE G.I'm marking this location as poor although I had zero interaction with anyone at this location and, to my knowledge, none of the issues experienced could have been corrected by the owner of the location. I checked in and picked up my vehicle using the UHaul website on my phone. The cell coverage at this location is poor, so it required a considerable amount of time to actually check in and retrieve the keys to the vehicle (multiple logins to my account at UHaul.com was required before I could retrieve the keys). It was difficult to return the vehicle for the same reason. The information on the key drop box directed me to a website that provided little to no information not already provided in both the contract and the email provided during the reservation process. Disappointingly, i was charged a $20 "after hours" fee, although I returned the vehicle at 4:40 pm (1 hour and 20 minutes early) and, again, had zero interaction with anyone at the location where I returned the vehicle. Yes, I am aware that the poor cell coverage is not something that either the location owner or UHaul can control. Since I had zero interaction with anyone at the pickup/dropoff location, I cannot fault the location owner. The UHaul website was difficult to navigate but the $20 "after hours" fee (which was not mentioned anywhere that I could find prior to completing the reservation) will prevent me from using UHaul again. David S.the web sight states that the business is open 9-2 on Saturdays. I picked up a truck at about 9:15 AM and had it reserved for 5 hours just so I could have it returned before they closed. I got to the business about 1:15 PM and they were closed. So I was charged for two days because the business can not stay open for the posted hours.
Donald W.I did not return the truck to this place. Uhaul doesn't even know whrere I dropped it? I was told when I made the reservation that i would receive money back for the days npt used. Also, if there was more gas than needed left, I would get money for that. I got nothing for either. I will never use uhaul again and tell others not to!

I was literally threatened by the owner WITH HIS GUN because I had the nerve to question a charge on my credit card bill. All he wanted to do was yell at me and tell me to "call corporate" and then he walked away from me like I was not even there. Then when both of us got heated regarding how dishonest he and UHAUL was, he points to his gun and threatens me! I will NEVER use UHAUL for any reason again if this is how they choose to do business with their customers.

William T.The U-Haul app listed the hours of operation. I approved 20 minutes after opening time. There was nobody onsite and the door locked. I called the number in the reservation and the number on the door. No answer and no call back. I then waited for 30 minutes with no personnel onsite. After digging through my reservation online, I then disconnected and check out through the app. Why was this not an option upfront in the app, or listed on the door of the U-Haul location. Seriously, this entire trip was trouble on both ends....

How can a company be ok with charging people for dropping the truck off early. I wil NEVER use uhaul again! That charged disgusted me!

I was charged double the amount I was quoted because I was told I didn't check it in properly when returning it. And, the customer number for Uhaul had a 20 minute hold time and they never responded to the email that I sent. I would not recommend this location, nor would I go back unless I absolutely had to. There is another location on Governors Drive, near 14th Street that I had a great experience with and wish I had just gone back to them.
