Location was 45 minutes away from original reserved location in Ottawa. It only had the one truck and 2 trailers. When we first showed up there was no one there, had to call and text to get someone to come. The truck was parked in front of what looked like boarded up buildings. Employees were courteous and nice, but the office was a mess. I can understand it is a small location, but the office could have been clean and tidy. When we were told of the location we did not know where it was until we put it in the GPS. I think customer service should have informed us of the distance and offered options such as what truck was available closer.

Michel BouchardI had to go 7 hours away to get a truck and trailer and when I got where I was supposed to pick up the truck and trailer I had to go to 3 different location and had to pay 2000 dollars more than I was quoted. The overall experience was a shit show the start. Also the trailer lights did not work and had to repair them myself as the person at the U-Haul location had no idea how to do it.

Roxanne LerouxFirst off I've been renting from uhaul for approximately 36 years and it has never been a pleasant experience, from the broken trucks to the trucks not being available for rental after driving 40 minutes to pick one up.The location was a mess, I wasn't even sure if it really was a uhaul. I had to wait an hour or more to drop the truck off as per uhaul toll free suggestion. It's been 3 months and I still have not received the deposit back and then I'm told oday via email I can expect to wait an additional 4 to 6 weeks for a cheque to arrive. This is ridiculous, I called and complained and was given $40 which I will never see based on past promises made. I have been promised 3 times prior to this and never saw one promise come through.

Owner of location was very nice and patient with me had a little issue with the truck because I initially was suppose to rent the 20 foot but ended up with 26feet truck. But all the same they very very polite and took his time to make sure I was ok with the rental.

Youssef SukkarThe owner was not there when I arrived at 9am for pickup and when I called, he said he was on his way. I hooked up the trailer and waited. At 10am with no one still there, I called the head office number and was helped by phone with the contract so that I could leave. Upon returning, I was not provided with an apology or anything. The location is terribly maintained with junk everywhere and despite it being closest to my house for a future rental, I will go out of my way to avoid it.

Took an hour ..and my info went to three different random people over the phone . apparently u haul system was acting up. Can’t hold it all against the location but was brutal to sit there for something that should be 10 minutes.

Denis Bourqueshe messed up on the bill she calls the manager she give me the bill, that was fine, look in my bank account oops, they charge me for a drop oof, that was supposed to be 65 then came at 196 for a day for 75 k, sorry uhaul you fail for me! ho, they refund 51.95.
