When told about the bald tire on trailer they said it was fine. If it blows out just call uhaul an they would change it. Well the cords were showing. So we did call uhaul half way into our trip. Yes uhaul changed tire we had . To pay an they reimburse us but putv us 12 hours behind schedule. Uhaul did putbus up in hotel. Uhaul themselves did a good job taking care of us. This should uave never happen in the first place if tire was changed before we left. When we returned the trailer we were told he knew tire was bald but didnt have time to change it. He knew trailer was leaving sat morning make time to change tires an make sure trailers are ready to go. Very disappointing.Robert K.

Nothing to do with this location, but finding out you have a trailer rental only hours before your scheduled pick up added a ton of unnecessary stress to the moving process. Not only that, when several calls to customer service were made and long periods on hold (45 minutes), customer service said someone from customer service would call me the day before my pick up to confirm? Overallâ€¦ equipment was great and just what we needed but centralized customer service and the booking process has vast room for improvement.Thomas J.

The trailer was pretty dirty on the inside but it wasn't an issue really. You need to do everything online and the site doesn't give much reference for the size of the trailer. It says the dimensions but I wish it would say 'food a king size mattress' or something. But other than that, it was a pretty good overall experience.Brent G.

At the last minute I was told I would have to pick up my rental truck at a totally different location than I reserved a week before and was guaranteed just earlier that day. about 2 hours from pick up,I was told I would have to pick u the rental approximately 15 miles from where I reserved it, which was within walking distance from my daughters house- who we were moving. Our helpers were to arrive later that day, and I had to rent an uber to pick up the truck. It made the day much more stressful. I've used UHaul before and never had this happen. I was very angry but it made no difference, the woman on the phone just kept repeating that I would have to pick it up at the location I did not request.Susan H.

The Safeway Storage location for U-Haul rentals is the fastest customer service I have ever had at a U-Haul, and very friendly. The van was almost brand new and very clean, too. And Safeway Storage let me leave my car in their parking lot for the day I had the rental van, which made things very convenient for me.Mark H.
Using Uhaul's app and website to pick up my equipment outside of the operating hours for this location was an absokute nightmare. I tried to pick up my rental at 9 when I requested it. I couldnt get the website or app to allow me to pick it up until I finally got hold of someone on the customer service line qt 11am. They had to change my reservatiom to fix the issue, but I had already lost way too much time. An absolutely horrible experience usong the app and websiteAustin P.

I actually moved out at the end of May, not June 6 th. There was no one in the office the last few weeks I was moving out. They was water in my storage facility that showed up in the last month that I had it. I do appreciate that it was available., however, it would have been nice to have someone available to talk to as I needed them. They were very professional and courteous. The only problem (which was kind of my fault) was that I was required to return the vehicle with 1/2 tank of gas (i.e., the amount that was in the vehicle when I checked it out). At the gas station, as I willing filling the vehicle, I watched the needle on the gas gauge climb to approximately 1/2 and then stop moving. It didn't climb any higher for a minute. So, I took out the gas nozzle and started the engine, then the needle climbed to 3/4. So, I overfilled the gas and was told that I would not be reimbursed or credited for the extra amount I had put into the vehicle. After traveling across four states and 1,300 miles (and spending several hundred dollars on gas), it would have been nice to have that extra $40-50 put back onto my debit card. If anything, requiring all U-Haul vehicles to be returned with a full gas tank, would avoid these kinds of situations, altogether.JAY H.
This is the 1st time I have ever had an issue with Uhaul. The cell phone pick up did not work, so I had to wait for staff to arrive before I could rent the truck. The truck had not been swept out, radio did not work and worst of all, only had 1/4 tank of gas. So while movers waited, I had to stop and gas up. I filled it all the way up not knowing how much I would use, and ended up returning it with a tank about 2/3rd full, so roughly $50 more than what was there originally. I asked Nick for some type of credit, but he did nothing to compensate for all the issues. I'll rent Uhaul again, but never from this location. Highly disappointed in the customer service.Tamara H.

The 26-foot truck I rented here was in desperate need of maintenance. The tires were bald. One was low. The wipers were in extremely bad shape. I bought new wipers for it and paid for them out of my own pocket. When I inquired about getting the low tire inflated, the employees here essentially told me to do it myself. (I paid for the roadside assistance, but it seemed like a bother when I brought it to their attention.) I was extremely worried that the truck wouldn't make it on a 1,200 mile trip. Luckily, it did. This is mostly a storage place. I wouldn't really go here for UHaul rental equipment.Guillermo C.

Employee on desk didn't wear a mask and wiped his nose with his hands, didn't know how to process my gift card, and used like 5-10 minutes at both check in and check out to do something on his cell phone. Then he didn't have a $5 or $1s to refund me from my $60 hold turning out at $55, so he offered me... $5 in quarters? I'm a bit worried that my gift card will be put in incorrectly and I'll get charged for the trip. I don't like having to double check my charges like that. Truck was great. When I returned the truck, no one was there to accept it even though the location was supposed to still be open. I called Uhaul and was told that I could check it back in online but there was an extra fee to do so.
