Truck was old, beat-up and inefficient. Then. to top it all off, I get charged $85 for refueling when I stopped twice to add enough gas to get to the quarter tank it had when I picked it up. Everywhere else just fills up the tank so it is easy to know how much you used. But, no, here I had to guess at when the truck would have a quarter tank, put more in than was necessary to avoid penalty, and then get penalized anyway. Now I have to spend time out of my day on the phone trying to get my money back.brian B.
The truck was not where is was supposed to be located per the picture, the lockbox was in the storage facility area not the U-haul location and was on the opposite side of the tree. The facility we initially reserved with could not accommodate our request so we were moved to a location further away but then charged per mile for the truck; this turned out to add 10 miles to our overall mileage for the truck. This was by far the worst experience we have had with U-haul and will not be using this location in the future.Kristen S.
The oil light was on and I could smell oil burning. I had to put a quart in. The truck wobbled a lot at around 60. Not sure if it was wheel balance or front end. AC was cold, tires were in good shape.Gary R.

The App did not work so we took photos and screen shots of the App lack of functionality. The next day, instead of calling us, the crew charged us an extra day when we returned it well in advance of the extra day. No courtesy, no professionalism. Just take the money and run...even with the additional 3/8 of tank extra fuel we gave you!Debbie L.

There was no dropbox in my drop-off location. I first parked the vehicle and one day later I went there again to return the keys... The number of customer representatives is very low in Uhaul AZ have waited nearly one hour fid more than 3 times.Mustafa C.
I tried to use the rental through the app but I never will again. It is too complicated. I entered my ID and everything else they wanted. Then when I get to the site to pick up the truck they want more and different ID. I don't have that with me. I gave up and just went through the person at the desk. That worked fine. It is not clear where to park your car when picking up the rental and it is not clear where to park the vehicle when you return it. Very confusing at least to me. The process to rent this truck was incredibly long and inefficient. It took me 20-25 minutes online answering innumerable questions just to book the rental. Day of was even worse. Unhelpful staff pointed us outside to a tree we had to stand beside with mobile phone and location service on. It took another 15-20 minutes just to access the key, then more time recording info before we could leave with the truck. Checking it back in was no better. I would NEVER rent from this U-Haul service again.Debbie S.

I was able to reserve the van well in advance as a mobile pick-up at 8:00 am. The night before I was to pick up the vehicle, I was called and told that I could not pick up the Uhaul until opening at 9:00 am, even though I informed the pick-up location that my appointment to drop off my items stored in the Uhaul was 9:00 am. I was told there was nothing they could do. When I arrived at 9:00 am per instructions given over the phone, I was told I was an hour early, and I could not pick up my Uhaul until 10:00 am. I also had to provide contact information for three additional family members not related to the pick-up before provided with keys. Staff were rude and not helpful on the phone, at pick-up, and at drop-off. Uhaul should not list this location as having a mobile pick-up option. They do not offer this option at this location, as staff must be present to provide access to the vehicle.Bailey B.

Lack of communication after contacting regarding an issue and transmission kept slipping with light load and empty, so not a hauling issue. "Tow" was turned off at all times during travel. Staffing wasn't sufficient for Saturday traffic and system wasn't working properly which added to wait times and access to printed documents. Staff was friendly enough, despite technical issues and a lot of customers, so not a complete "no"...more like 7/10.Jennifer B.

Remind the customer about the text to review equipment before they go and provide full instructions on how to hitch and unhitch the trailer. I had rented one before and also owned a boat trailer that I was familiar with towing and hitching equipment but even with previous experience- the first time I rented a uhaul trailer I had a difficult time unhitched at drop off by myself. It was easy this time because I asked if there was a trick to it and I watched them use the chains for leverage.ZEDY O.
