It was a 90 degree day and the AC did not work in the truck which we did not discover until we were well on our way and could not turn back. Also, there was an oily substance on the seatbelt strap over the shoulder which transferred to my shirt and undershirt. Trying to get it out with Oxyclean. The $150 deposit was not explained in the beginning only when we came to pick up the truck.

I did reservation in person a day before, the pick up time they told me they don't have truck for me even my reservation showed on their screen. They gave my truck to someone else!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Truck needs to be replaced. The breaks were soft, the entire chassis rattled, there is so much play in the wheel that it is difficult to control, the transmission slips, and there’s a lot of damage to the exterior- half of which was not marked- I had to hand mark that on my paper ticket because the photo uploads weren’t working and there were 5 areas that were not previously marked with a sticker. I’ve driven an ambulance for 10 years, so I am very familiar with all phases of a box truck’s lifespan- and this one is reaching its end. Someone with little to no experience would be far more likely to have an accident. The AC DID work well, so I will say that was a definite positive. The staff at this location were very nice and it’s not their fault. In all honesty- it got the job done but I’m glad I only needed it for a few hours- it was a crap truck.

Customer service was INCREDIBLE. Such a nice group of people! I will definitely use this location again and strongly recommend it to others. They made this difficult experience of moving a thousand times better. Thank you for all of your help!

Charlotte was amazing. My truck was actually not returned on time and was not there at my scheduled pick up. She worked very hard to get in touch with the other renter and was already working on a backup plan and had another truck that she would switch me and work to make a deal because it was considerably smaller. She did her best to make a not great situation bearable.

This location was able to reserve a truck when another location (1805 Veterans Memorial) failed to have my keys ready for the 24/7 pickup. They did not have my keys ready and they were closed for the weekend.

The fact the U-Haul pick up point was in a gas station was rather bizarre. Also when I entered to make reservation I had to wait inside of the gas station for almost 40 minutes because there were computer problems. When I arrive the next morning I had to wait 35 minutes to pick the U-Haul up because they were more computer problems. The staff was absolutely incredible, but if you were going to change how things are done please also inform your staff so that your customers don’t have to wait for so long.

The trucks check engine light came on within the first 10 miles of driving. The driver side windshield wiper was broken so in the middle of the highway when it started pouring I could not drive and had to find and truck stop and by a new wiper.

The first location I called on Friday to see if I could rent a 10ft truck and I got it all set up with a lady from the uhaul location in St. Peter’s. We had a busy moving day on Saturday morning mentally preparing ourselves so we go to the St. Peter’s location and guess what? The lady had us under a cargo van when I specifically told her that we wanted the 10 ft moving truck AND they didn’t have anymore available for us to use there. The manager lady was rude and kept talking about another person renting a truck early that Friday morning and I had to tell her I didn’t care about any other persons situation. I cared about MINE as I’m 9 months pregnant trying to move into a bigger place! So then they some how find another truck at another place so we went there and go the truck and everything was great UNTIL we get back to return it and the lady tries to charge us over $70. I asked her why it was so expensive and she said the lady that had helped me earlier put on the insurance which isn’t needed just offered and I never once got asked if I wanted that. The lady told me I should have looked at my recite as if it was my fault her employee charged us with it. So we had to wait over 30 mins for her to call and get our money back which still hasn’t hit our account so I’ll be interested in if we even get it back or not. Never again will I deal with this place and their carelessness.

I had read some negative reviews of other UHaul pick up places in the St. Charles area, so chose this one because the others had some negative ratings. This place was great. Check in and check out was fast. Michelle did an awesome job today helping me figure out how to fuel up to required level, etc. etc. I will return in a few months when I have another move. :)

Definitely need to work on customer service. I picked up a uhaul and they told me to return it there around 3pm when I was done. When I returned the uhaul around 245pm, before getting any information or saying hello, Daisy said, "I can't accept that truck". I let her know my contract and text said to return it there. She said she cant accept it and I'll need to take it to another dealership about a mile away. I let her know my car was at this location so asked how I would get back. Her response was, "I dont know", and I just had to figure it out. After I drove it to the other location, they wouldn't accept it either and called Mini Mart. He let her know they must take the uhaul because of the way it was dispatched. I then returned it Daisy's response now was, "yeah I called the morning person and I should have taken your truck. Sorry about that". I received an apology, but no offer of compensation or anything else. Worst experience, no customer service half of an apology, and no offer of how to make it right. Wouldnt recommend to anyone using this location.
