The truck was extremely dirty with trash inside and even dog food left on the floor. The side mirror of the Van didn't stay in place making it so difficult to safely drive it. When I arrive there was no one in the office and waited for 15 mins. I was told to drop the van outside when I returned at 5:30pm and I was never quoted or told there will be over hours charges PLUS a DOUBLE charge for gas! I've never been charge these extra fees! Terrible experience and a not transparent business to run!!! Quote signed was $65 extra fees $72!!! Be AWARE

They are not clear in giving the truck, gave me incorrect information on the rate, did not tell me about the gas credit, and also, very importantly, inaccurately recorded the mileage wrong and overcharged me for mileage!

Apparently the employee that was supposed to open the lot did not show up for work. We had to wait 30 minutes past the opening time for someone to come open up. There was another customer waiting to return a vehicle who said that the reviews for this location are not very good. The truck that we rented was clean inside the cab, but the outside was filthy. The passenger door handle/armrest was broken, but this was not noted on the vehicle report.

Vans were filthy on the outside, also had trash in them. Neither van available had a full tank of gas (one almost empty and the other at half a tank). They also did not have appliance dollies or furniture dollies, even though I ordered them. The van I used also had a broken lock in the rear door.

The location was a bite strange at first ... because it's an outside lot with no pavement ... but it all seemed fine once we got into the location ... and the folks that work there were very nice ...

I'm had a very bad experience the back of the door on the truck wouldn't close and you charged extra for gas we didn't use I would like that refunded on my friends card and the gate was closed to turn the truck in we got there at 4:25 pm and uhaul is supposed to close at 5 I don't think I'll be using uhaul again.

The van was filthy. It had no wiper fluid and the window was so diety I had to go to a gas station to clean the windshield.. the gas gauge did not work properly. I put 2 gallons of gas in the tank after only driving 15 miles, but the guy insisted the gas was lower than when I picked the van up, which it wasn't. After putting $10 in gas, he said he was charging me $6.75 for gas, but when the charge came through, it was 12.88. The guy working was incredibly rood and unhelpful I would not recommend this location to my worst enemy.

The person who helped me wasn't of help after he asked me to inspect the vehicle and let him know if there were any things I noticed that didn't show on the inspection. The gas gauge was at 1/2 a tank and I took a picture to show him. He told me he updated the inspection but when I arrived to my drop off location, I had to turn in the moving truck at 3/4 of a tank, otherwise I was going to get charged extra. Not a good experience.

I had to hook up the uhaul all by myself. After I did, I noticed a lock box on it. Then the worker told me to just “pick another one”. The size I reserved was behind smaller ones, so I had to move 3 uhaul out of the way, to get to the one I needed. Then had to hook it up on my own again. I got zero assistance from the lazy worker. Will never use uhaul again, if this location is the only available optiob

Make it clear to customers that this is not a 24hr location. There is a sign in front of the lot that reads "24/7 dropoff" which led me to attempt to dropoff my truck outside business hours, however the lot was closed. Was forced to park on the street (unsafe) and return in the morning (which was a pain) to deliver the truck. I voiced these concerns to the owner but he didn't seem to be very interested - was quite ignorant, in fact. He said that his trucks can actually be dropped off 24/7 at a different partner location (Point Loma) but there is absolutely no way of knowing this.

I selected self pick up using the app. The truck was locked and blocked by another ve,hicle. There was noone on site to help. The phone system was slow but the operator did what he could which was limited as he said there was supposed to be someone on site. The movers were at my house billing time waiting while you guys worked it out. It was 1.5 hours after the scheduled pick up time. I would like a refund or you to pay some of the moving expenses as I paid for almost an hour of time for movers to just sit.

This facility doesn't bother itself with cleaning the vans or fueling them. Got a van without much gasoline so that my first priority was to find a gas station in order to not run empty. The passenger seat was completely covered in (I assume animal) hair - I have photo in case anyone wants to see it. Lastly, the 2 people manning this station didn't come out of their little mobile unit: not when providing key (just pointing thru the window at which van it is) nor when dropping off. Somehow everyone had to figure it out for themselves.

Gas was really low - 1/8 tank. So had to make an immediate unexpected stop. A full tank would have been nice and much easier to return with same level. Appreciated the after hours drop box. Didn't really understand that I had to take pictures and sign off on website. We had already left as I was fillling out form so unable to take most pix.

I'd recommend but I'd recommend that they get a paper copy of the contract. I was stuck with an additional day of fees because the contract was emailed to me so I returned it after the time. The owner did not alert me of a time to return the vehicle and I dont recall having to return my trucks by a certain time on previous rentals just return on the day. So that was my only issue also this location did not have all the things I needed like a dolly. Had I known that everything wasn't there ahead of time, I would have rented elsewhere.

I parked in meter parking and the guy that worked there offered to reset my meter for me. I didn't ask, he offered. I planned to come by after 2 hours and repay on the meter. He never paid snd I got a $42 fine :/

Charged 25.00$ extra for gas even though I returned the truck with amount of gas I picked it up with. Brought it up to this location (San Diego) and they said that they refunded it. Days later, still not refunded to my account. They acknowledged that it was a mistake so not sure why I haven't been refunded yet.

The owner of this location was very rude. Ordering me to do things. He did not answer my questions. I left with an empty tank of gas in my rental and he said bring it back empty. Then he charged me for 3 gallons of gas a few hours later. I returned the rental with 1/4 tank of gas. This owner raised is voice in anger any time I asked a simple question. He accused me of moving vehicles out of his lot. He accused me of parking vehicles outside his lot. This came out of nowhere. He ordered me to move the rental further back into the furthest corner of his lot even though I parked it in the middle of his lot. I refused to move the truck into the corner and he raised his voice ordering me to move the truck a 100 yards. He is very rude and has serious mental issues. I will not use U Haul again from this bad experience. Home Depot rental is a better rental truck service. I want a $22 refund for the 3 gallons of gas I was wrongfully charged on my credit card. Please refund $22. I plan to bring this to UHaul management next week as well.

I reviewed my receipt and was charged for add-ons I did not use. I was also charged for the incorrect size of the Uhaul truck and for damage coverage I did not add. Will not be returning to this location.

This location was literally a dirt parking lot with no signage indicating it was a uhaul location. Nobody came out when we pulled up. I had to go searching for the one employee inside a portable building. He did not do any inspection in front of me but just had me leave my key on a desk and go. Not professional at all.
