truck was sorta clean, had all sorts of warning lights on dash, tires, parking break, stability issues as i was driving it. i still haven't received my receipt that i was told i would have emailed to me in about 15 minutes.

The location was not entirely intuitive. It just had a sign that said UHAUL to indicate it was a drop off. There could've been more directions on-site to help through the checkout process since we arrived after hours.

Clean that dirty ass steering wheel along with the exhaust leak cause you can taste exhaust fluid from inside the truck. And wake up and don't be late to work caused people to get setbacks

I was charged for 50 miles when the full trip was total 25 miles (picture with mileage available) was charged for safe move coverage but did not select or want the extra coverage, the employee was pushy when picking up and returning the truck.

I waited well over ten minutes to get a truck even with a reservation. I was the only customer at the time. What is so hard about taking a license pic, signing a couple lines, and forking over a set of keys? The truck seemed to be in good repair, but the cab stunk a bit, and there was a questionable stain on the passenger seat. Overall, the experience wasn't horrible, but was also far from great.

When you grant to someone the concession of your brand, make sure that speaks fluent english or Spanish, both would be highly recommended, that explain the process every time, because the person who attended me was no polite at all, didn't speak english nor spanish fluently, didn't explain me the process of check in and out, I had to call to your 1 800 to explain all that so I have no more charges for extra hours. And all that was my first time using u haul.

The person who waited on me did not show me where the truck was located. He siad it was in the park lot to the left. When I returned the truck the same person said thank you to me. I asked can we go look the truck over. He said he could do it in an half hour and send me a receipt. I told him I would like to know my total cost before I leave. He finally got up to help me, it took about 5 minutes to assist me. The entire time I was dealing with this person, he was not assisting any other customers. I feel the customer service at location was VERY poor.

Uhaul rep at the location added extra services to my rental that I did not request and refused to remove it, until I threatened to contact customer service. Uhaul rep was not cooperative. Truck was not clean.

The electronic check-in did not work. When I notified the associate, they said that was common but did not have an explanation as to why customers couldn't check in via their phones. This resulted in the associate having to checkin for me which took nearly 45 mins. Also, the check-in location was in an old, creepy and dumpy hotel that was not professional looking or clean. The associate kept leaving my check-in process to help with other questions from their hotel coworkers, so this elongated my check-in process. There was also no lock to secure the storage items so we had to supply our own which I was not expecting. Overall I'd rate this location and the service as poor, unprofessional, and inadequate. The truck also wasn't filled to 1/4 tank (it was nearly empty) but I was given a fuel credit to compensate for that.

The person that gives the keys out showed up two hours late and was extremely rude. The building smelt like marijuana and there was questionable people working there and coming in and out of the place. Not a safe place for families to be getting moving equipment. Extremely dissatisfied with U-haul.

The dispatcher made a mistake and inputted the wrong gas level at return. Generating an extra charge on my rental. After calling the store, he told me that he would see what he could do and hangup I called the store again and no answer so I decided to go back to the store and after find out his mistake he told me that he doesn't even work for haul and was unable to assist me with this and that I have to return another day. I told him I don't have time during the week because of my work and he started becoming defensive and told me that he can't assist me an what would I want him to do if he doesn't work for ahual. He was the one that rented the truck for me and the one that told me that it was going to be less than 50. There was another person with the same issue as well. I found this very inconvenience and makes me thing is some kinda scam trying to get more money for the rentals because another person was having the same issue. I have been trying to contact customer services and is like 62 mins wait I requested a call back and once someone call it gets disconnected before someone answer. I have pictures to proof the gas that was returned

The truck itself was fine and perfect for moving. However the location of the rental pickup was beyond awful. It was a part of a -10 star rated motel that is infested with cockroaches and drug addicts. I stood at the counter for 20 minutes before someone showed up. I felt like I was going to get shot, or robbed at any second. The police actually showed up at one point because someone had made a 911 call from the hotel. Once I signed the paperwork, I had to follow some random women in street clothes out to the parking lot where a man in another truck was sitting that apparently kept all the keys. It was unbelievably sketchy. How this place can operate as a uHaul is beyond me.

Not having to drive to 3-different locations to get a truck, because your reservation system tricks you in believing at specific size is available, when it isn't. I lost 3-hours of my day, and had to drive more with my car and the truck (higher charges) as a result. This is a very disappointing service!

I reserved my equipment for 8 am and 24/7 mobile pickup. The website said I would just be able to arrive and use my phone and be on my way. I arrived at 745 am. Couldn't pick up truck. Website said I had to go to desk. Went to desk. No one there. Another man was waiting, he also had reserved a 7 am mobile pickup. No one around to help. Shortly after 8 am we were able to ask a hotel attendant for help. He tried unsuccessfully to reach the uhaul rep. Eventually he called someone out of bed who came and helped get the first person going. Meanwhile, my account said no truck was available. When it came my turn, the rep had to go out and look and apparently my truck had just arrived. He had to check it in, clean it out, and then we had to go through the entire process of entering all of the information I had already entered online previously. I eventually was able to get the keys and be on my way. Meanwhile my helpers who I had hired, were waiting. I arrived back at my house 45 minutes late. The truck had a funny smell, and it was so noisy when I drove it that I couldn't h e a r anyting radio phone Etc. I I managed you finally get everything moved. Every time I rent from U-Haul there is and issue. Not honoring reservations, calling me when I have several hours left on my reservation telling me I need 2 return my truck, requested equipment not being available, and more. If I move again I will not ever use U-Haul again because it is always a massive failure. The only reason I have used them so far is because they we're the only option close 2 me. I a.m. highly disappointed and annoyed and believe I warrant a discount. If I were 2 bring a truck back late I wood be charged extra so if my truck is not available when it is supposed 2 be why shouldn't I get a discount?

labor day weekend hard to find a truck at other UHaul Locations. Also Uhaul Location 6014 Michigan Road Indianapolis on Friday September 3 there was only one person working and I think he lied to me when he said there were no trucks available because there were several trucks in the lot. This was at about 7:00pm on Friday Septermber 3. I think he was too lazy to rent me a truck. - So I had to hustle and get the truck at a different location which had good service

The mileage was rounded up going out and coming in. True mileage should be calculated if you are going to charge by mileage. I truly mathematical went under 40 miles, but because it was rounded up I went over by 1 mile. That was definitely not fair!

The location I was assigned to return the trailer to was closed. (Not open on Sunday yet that it where I was told to take it.) I towed the trailer an extra 20 miles to return it. The Uhaul return shared a front desk with a hotel, which was not clean. The area of the city was very concerning. The gentleman that helped me was very kind and helpful.

I highly upset that we did not get any notification/email about our reservation being pushed back. It completely inconvenienced us big time. Not only that, they didn't seem like they wanted to help us. Then they charged us for us being it back at 6pm. When it's your fault when we didn't get the truck on time in the first place. I will never use you guys every again. I would like to get my second charge back. This was completely unfair and un professional. I will be going to the social media and letting everyone know not to use you guys

The Royal Inn location was not great and parking spots were not clearly defined. Fortunately, there were enough other parked UHaul trucks to figure it out. Your app was TERRIBLE to return the truck. It would not upload the picture of the odometer on the app. I had to eventually switch to my phone browserr.

I have be driving large trucks for 45 years. This JH4416F truck has no suspension system left a all plus the brakes are squealing. The constant violent bone shaking vibration was so severe it chipped a tooth. Loaded/unloaded 5mph/55mph the vibration was the same. On a perfectly new asphalt road the steering wheel felt like a jack hammer. On 465 highway it was like hitting a non-stop series of six inch deep chuck holes with every slight imperfection in the concrete. At times I could see my bouncing one inch and could not read the speedometer which was blurred by the shaking. This was the longest in town 98 miles I have ever driven.

The man at the front desk was very rude. My reservation was at 3:45pm and the uhaul representative was not available until after 4. The air in the uhaul didn't work. I was charged extra for coverage and I requested the 14 dollar coverage. I probably won't use this location again.

The location itself was fine. However, this was NOT the location that I had registered on the website. Moreover, while it had the truck I requested, it did not have the 4 wheel furniture dolly I had selected. The folks at Royal were very nice and tried to help, BUT THE SHORTCOMINGS OF THE UHAUL WEBSITE AND ALGORITHMS CANNOT BE OVERSTATED.

They did not have a dolly which I had on my rental agreement. My truck was not ready and it was explained to me there were 8 rentals and they had a 39.99 truck I could rent . this was very unexceptable I had rented the truck a week early. I'm not happy . When picked truck up it was dirty insobriety the cab and had a awful smell. Was not walked around vehicle and shown any inspections for damage fuel etc. took my own pictures and date stamped them so I would not get charged for any previous issues. Truck had 1/8 of fuel but was told it was a 1/4 tank. Didn't have all of the blankets or furniture dolly as requested. Was able to change my pickup time though which was helpful.

The worker was trying his best, but the systems were slow and the location is too busy for one worker. It took me 20+ minutes for check in AND check out. I was charged 2 times for my uhaul. Now I have to call my bank to fix that. The worker calculated my miles incorrectly I think because it said I went 100 miles when I only went 20. I have proof of before and after if needed. He was very nice and helped me fix an issue with a charge for a dolly that I didn't even get. I think the location needs 2 workers and a better system/more vehicles. I reserved my 10' box truck exactly 1 week in advance from 12:30pm-8:00pm but the worker asked me if I could bring it back before because others reserved the same size one + he would be leaving before 8pm. I don't understand how they can keep renting trucks out that they don't have available?

Returned to this location. Returned on half tank(more than what it wsd suppose to be) then they turned around and charged me saying it was not returned back at the right amount. Lies!!! The rep did not state to me that i couldve taken a picture and uploaded to the website as proof. Wish i would have known that because i would have uploaded it as proof! Then they take a pic of the gas without the truck number attached to show it was actually the right truck. They couldve taken a pic of the wrong truck and attached it to the wrong account. Frauds

When I dropped off the truck, a person just took my keys and said they would e-mail me everything and walked away. Then I come to find out I was charged for an extra day!! No way is this going to fly-I am on the phone with corporate ans we speak-will never use u-haul again!!

Whoever runs this place tried to get me to give him cash under the table for a utility dolly that I had already rented he also sent me to three separate places because he got my reservation confused with someone else's so I ended up driving all over the place when my reservation was correct from the beginning

I had a good experience here but the following week 5/12/21 I rented at a different location and the service there was terrible. The worst location I have ever been to. The address is 2960 Lafayette Rd Indianapolis IN 46222. The manager Byron Bartlett wasn't there but had 2 new employees there with no trainer or experience that didn't know nothing about nothing and the one person Tiara that new everything didn't want to help and was sweeping the units instead. I went to ask to help politely but she said rudely I had to wait for her. She took her time and was rude all the time. She didn't stay to help the new employees and had a bad attitude. The new employees said they didn't know why the manager wasn't there. He needed to be there since 8am but he didn't show up.Over all it took me 1.5 hours to get my unit that day. I called a general manager from the area called Geneva and she told me someone would call me but no one ever did. If you can give me a call at (312)763-0413 and I can give you more details.

This was a location that I was forced to go to when my “guaranteed” reservation was changed the day before pick up. I reserved a 26' truck close to my house and was then forced to go 30 minutes away to get a 20' truck.
