Instructions on doing a self checkout if after hours

The two employees never left the building. The mileage and gas was wrong, cab dirty with food scraps left in cup holder, headlights dim, had to drive with high beams on the whole time, windshield water was full but did not work, windows dirty inside and out.

I reserved a 26' truck at a uhaul location near my home, and after getting a text stating that they moved my rental to another location much further from my new home, I went to pick up there to find that the truck I reserved was not available. I was forced to rent and pay for two 20' trucks instead. I will not be recommending Uhaul to anyone I know as a reservation doesn't seem to guarantee you a truck (the whole purpose of the business). I was very dissatisfied.

Would be nice to have designated parking for customers cars when picking up rentals and not have to guess if your parking in apartment tenants parking spots. But over all a convenient location and well maintained rentals.

The only thing that I’m no agree is that the fuel tank was under a quarter to be full and I had to stop to fill the quarter missing other than that everything was fine

Please be more clear in explaining pickup and drop off times. As stated when I called I wanted a trailer for Sunday and was told that I could pick it up on Saturday morning as you were closed on Sunday. You then when on to state that if I wanted I could pick it up on Friday. Wow what a nice surprise so Friday afternoon I picked up the trailer. It wasnt until I saw the receipt that I realized that you were charging me a second day. That was never told to me. I am sure that it was on the paperwork that you quickly shuffled in my direction, but never in the transaction was I told that I was being billed for 3 days. Having owned a title company and holding thousands of real estate settlements I will be the first to state it is what the person behind the paper says not the words on the paper that are forever remembered. It would have been more above board to have mentioned the double cost of picking up the trailer a couple of hours early when I wanted it for Sunday not even Saturday, but did so as a matter of drive time convenience.

After I left I realized that the mileage and gas tank were different then what was on my paper, so took it back and they changed it. All went well and I was very pleased!

There was no one to help me hook up a 6x12 trailer by myself (I'm a female with an injured wrist and lower back issues). No lift was offered, so I attempted to get it myself. There was an friendly older woman who was in the office, but she couldn't help me. Finally another lady with an injured hand came out (I have no idea if she worked there or not) and stood in the back of the trailer to take enough pressure off so that I could lift it onto my hitch. Once on, the knob to tighten the trailer on my hitch was jammed, and I couldn't turn it at all. No one checked my lights, and when I arrived at our place to load, I discovered that my lights didn't work, and I had to switch vehicles. I also had to drive off the lot with a trailer barely attached to my truck. Not a comfortable experience. I have rented many trailers from Uhaul, and this was not a pleasant experience. The one positive was that I didn't have to wait in a line like at my normal Uhaul rental facility. Definitely dissatisfied with this rental!

When I got the truck home, my movers informed me that there was a puncture hole in the top of the truck. I called the uhaul site immediately. As I did not want to be charged for prior damage. I was grateful that I was moving all in one day or my furniture would have gotten soaked. When i returned the truck, someone just glanced at the mileage and gas amt. I had to pay extra for gas since I hadn't pumped enough, yet no consideration for a truck with a gaping hole in the roof.
