The trailer worked well, easy to haul for a mid size SUV, but U-haul needs to offer sand bags for tongue weight because super noisy until you get it loaded.

Melissa G.Trailer rented had bad bearings or axle. Rear wheels locked, exploded and then caught on fire. Tires were relatively new. Ran cool all the time. Fire Dept said explosion was caused when rear axle tires quit rotating. So equipment had not been well maintained.

DAVID B.It's no their fault but the staff got sick and had to close the store early. as a result, I had to use the key drop and then Uhaul charged me an extra $20 for a late fee because no one was there to receive my truck. I'm sorry to blame the Route 66 crew, but I'm the one stuck with an extra fee.

James R.I was delayed in receiving my vehicle by nearly 2 and 1/2 hours. The delay was caused by no fault of my own as made clear by the regional traffic office rep in Detroit (Max) and the local area rep (Keith). I was informed that the u-haul reservation system was overwhelmed due to end of month and it' summer, which prevented my mobile check in from working correctly. I'm disappointed to have experienced a degradation in services to know fault of my own, yet I was charged as if I received the full quality of the service. I have used u-haul in the past but was not pleased with this reservation as it set back my plan quite a bit. Anthony

JOSEPH H.Everyone at the neighborhood uhaul locations were very helpful. However, it is frustrating that the main uhaul number doesn't work. I called several times, received an automated message that the wait time would be 15 minutes, and after 15 minutes the line goes dead. I had several issues with my order changing locations and trucks size without notification. The larger uhaul company is doing a poor job in managing their customer service with a surge in business. The only reason I would use uhaul again is because of the neighborhood dealers from wahalla SC and tiger paw storage in Pendleton SC helping me navigate through the process.
