The "no" reply is ONLY in reference to the tow dolly. The ratchets were really rusted. The men -- at both ends -- that helped me load and unload my car had a horrible time with them.

They asked me if I wanted help putting the trailer on and they didn’t screw the coupler onto my hitch so when I hit a bump on the freeway it came off and just the chains were holding it up and I ended up crashing my expensive truck

My reservation was to pickup at 4 pm in Eureka. I had to call to confirm and was told they didn't have a 26' but Arcata store did. Luckily I called to confirm because that store closes at 4pm. Very inconvenient.

The $20 for help seems counterproductive to your service. It behooves you to have all in top-notch shape before it hits the road. This is for your protection and safety as well as your customer. As it turned out I did hook up myself yet it was not quite right. The service personnel did help.

The drop off location was top notch. Everything was dealt with the highest standards. As for the vehicle. It could use some maintenance. The breaks squeak, the wipers don’t work very well unless you had rain-ex. The truck pulls slightly to the right. Also, I have never placed a vehicle on a trailer. The person at pick up location said they couldn’t give me any advice on how to put my truck on the trailer or how to fasten the vehicle to the trailer. I suggest giving someone a dvd to watch to be fully aware how to operate all machinery.

I especially liked how helpful, courteous and friendly the agent was at the U-Haul location where I rented a truck at Mad River Plumbing on G Street in Arcata, CA. I was given a different, smaller truck than I booked. The p/u process information was non existent. The drop off process was the same confusion as the pick up process. Oh, and the billing was screwed up too. I would never do this again!!!!

I returned the unit two days early.i fell that I should be repaid for days charged that we’re not used. The unit handled very well , no problem. The ladies at both locations were very helpful and friendly. Am I entitled to a rebate on over paid days? Thank you.

The customer service was amazing, very nice business and people. I am upset, because I am ALWAYS, EVERYTIME over charged.. I got the uhall and there was trash in it still, and cup cake wrappers. I clean it out and clean it after I use it but still get a cleaning charge... plus the safe drive fee was $80 on my contract... and now its $98 after everything is said and done the last time I rented a uhal from a different location, it stuck like fish and I had to take it to a car wash and spray it out and mop it, then I clean it when I get done, and still get a cleaning charge.. I am tired of uhaul constantly adding random fees and cheating me out of my money. good companies ... dont cheap people failing companies and greedy companies I rent uhaul for my trade show multiple times a year I might have to stat looking for other companies that wont cheat me... its too bad you conduct business this way
