This was my second time at this dealer. I arrived to find that they did not have all of the items I reserved. When I asked for assistance with the issue I was told â€œ it's not my problem, call them (Uhaul)â€. No cell service or WiFi inside so made calls outside in the rain. When I was finally completing the rental paperwork and payment, all of which had already been done online, I had to confirm texts I was being sent. I was told to go back outside to get service and wait for the message. Since I know Uhaul won't send me a review of S and S storage in Cleaveland, I will add to never use them as a dealer. When I arrived there to pick up additional equipment during published business hours, they were not there. Would not answer any of their phones so I was eventually sent on an hour and half journey to find the equipment elsewhere.Wade S.

Replace Chad Baker that is the Area Field Manager. When I called him because of a charge that was wrong he told me I needed to speak to the Area Field Manager, when I asked told him are you not Chad Baker ,the Area Field Manager it was silent and he hung up.I called back 8 times and he would answer and hang up immediately. This behavior is not professional and I will be leaving review's about this experience. I have the screenshots of my call log with ChadNick W.

Instead of reserving online I thought I could just walk in and rent the car tow dolley. WRONG. I had no phone service at this location so I had to drive 5 miles down the road to get service and reserve it online. Then drive right back to the store!Thomas B.

The attendant was rude and not helpful. Where the trailer was parked was on a muddy hill. I am a 68-year-old single woman who had to lift the trailer and hook it up myself. He told me that when brought the trailer back that I needed to back it up the muddy hill into the same spot I got it from. It rained almost the whole day and so when I came back it was even muddier. I told him that I wasn't sure if I could back it up the hill with all the mud and he said that if I couldn't do manage it I needed to bring someone else with me who could. I DON'T have anyone else to bring. It took me many tries and almost 30 minutes to get it backed into a spot on the hill and my car is covered in mud from my tires spinning. I left without even going inside when I was done. I don't understand why the trailers are even stored up there as there is plenty of newly paved space available. I definitely will NEVER use this location again.Sandra S.

The person assisting me was helpful however, the price that I was quoted online was not the same that I paid for the rental, ex: the insurance quoted was $8 online and the person charged me $9, total paid was over $51 not the $24.95 plus $8 insurance and any taxes. I was not very happy but chose not to argue the situation with the attendant.ANTHONY L.

This was the absolute worst experience in renting a U-Haul trailer. I don't understand the point in paying in advance and doing your recommended pre-check in just to arrive in the equipment be out of service. Ridiculous and nothing was done to compensate for it. I had to drive 45 minutes away to actually find a trailer that was guaranteed to me at a location right by me. Nothing was done to rectify the situation. However the ladies that helped me at the original pick up location were very awesome and felt really bad for whoever dropped the ball.Christopher S.

The man "assisting" with the rental was rude and unprofessional. He was absolutely ZERO help with the rental insisting we do it through the app when there was barely and signal in the store. Said he could not do it from his end. He told several customers in front of me telling me he did not have time to help me I had to do it through the app. He then told me I would not be charged until I returned the vehicle. When I tried to show him the money had already been debited from my account he argued with me telling me I was wrong and rude. After almost 2 hours I finally was able to get enough signal to do what I needed to do through the app. This was a HORRIBLE experience. I have never met a sales associate with a worse attitude. If this uhaul had not been absolutely necessary I would have walked away.CHARLES H.
The person we dealt with spoke limited English and just kept telling us to "go to uhaul.com" to upload our driver's license and other information on our phones. When the uhaul website didn't work, repeatedly, he finally did it for us. Another woman in the store was trying to complete her order and they got into a shouting match. It was very uncomfortable for everyone. I think the biggest problem is that uhaul expects everyone to do everything with the phone app or on the Internet, and that just doesn't work well in rural areas or for people who don't use phone apps. Especially when the website is confusing and unhelpful.Frances D.

Mud in cab floorboard on drivers side. Mud in cargo compartment. Mud on back step bumper. Mud on side of vehicle behind front tires. Damage (dent on lower body) in cargo body on drivers side found when I arrived to pick it up. It was not shown on photo I had to accept or dispute. I disputed that photo at time of pickup and took a photo to show damage and uploaded it. Damage (paint scratch) on cargo body on passenger side and was not shown in photos I had to accept or dispute. I disputed that photo as well and supplied a photo of that damage as well. Attendant was friendly and easy to work with. However, i was not happy with having to clean up the unit to get mud out before I could start using it.James B.

Everything with this location was fine. But it did not have the equipment I reserved online. I received a call later asking about why I had not picked up the equipment that I had reserved at another location. I had not received an email or any other communication stating that I was suppose to pickup at the other location so I rented something at the one I was at. I'm retired military and have used U-Haul a number of times, this was a bad experience.charles D.

Cigarette butts in the back of the truck and someone's old soup in a Tupperware bowl behind the driver's seat. About 1/4 tank of gas was missing versus the rental agreement. Otherwise, the vehicle was clean and there was no reason to think it wasn't maintained. The truck performed well.Craig S.
