The older gentleman that I talked to rent the truck at Ron's Tire and Battery was very rude. He seemed to struggle with the computer system, and blamed this on me because I hadn't just checked it out using the mobile app. He was also attempting to rent the truck to someone else when I arrived. He made comments to this person that I was foolish for renting the truck out at this location instead for some place closer to my home. The Utility Dolly that I ordered was broken and when I asked about it he said "Take it or Leave it". He threw it in the back of the truck without making any attempt to secure it from sliding. And finally he attempted to charge me after I had already paid for the rental on-line. When I called him on this he argued until I called the 1800 number to speak with someone. At that point he handed me the keys and paperwork. I think U Haul should seriously consider finding another business to represent it's product. This is the 3rd time that I have used U-Haul and before my experiences have always been pleasant.

The old man had no clue what he was doing. Double charged me for everything added insurance in when my ORIGINAL online reservation did not have it! Was a complete joke!!

A bunch of additional charges hit my account that I was not told about and when I was given one quote that all changed when it came time to picking the truck up and dropping the truck off I would not recommend Uhaul!

Our trailer had wiring issues, whenever the blinker would be activated, the 4-ways came on and it was delayed. After traveling through rain, we noticed that some of our items towards the trailer opening were wet.

RON'S TIRE & BATTERY/U-HAUL DEALER was incredible! RON was very helpful & personable & professional. He was on time & ready for us to pick up the trailer. I would definitely pick up a U-haul from him again. The issue i had, had nothing to do with Ron or his business. The only glitch i had was an issue with the U-haul company itself. We were scheduled to pick up the trailer at another location. When I called to confirm, the guy had no idea who i was. he told me to call the U-haul 1-800 #. When I did that, the U-haul agent told me "someone" from U-haul had called to tell me there was a change in pickup location. The agent said they left me a voicemail. That was either a blatant lie or someone dropped the ball. I had received no such call - it was not in my phone log & there was no voicemail. I did receive a call from the uhaul 1-800 # later that day. I guess they realized they had not called me, so they went ahead & did it then. I was not happy! However, the rest of the experience was fine. RON'S TIRE & BATTERY/U-HAUL DEALER was the BEST part of the experience. He was fantastic!

My experience was good up until I realized Ron added the most expensive insurance option. I originally when I placed my reservation, I opted out of insurance, he added it against my knowledge, thus I was charged. I called uhaul and was told that the location I rented from would have to refund me, and that I was correct for being upset, but it was honestly not worth my time to argue with an 80+ year old man that could barely hear anything being said. I will never use this location again, nor do I reccomend it.

He was upset because I wasn’t there at 11. My paperwork was incorrect and he didn’t know how to correct and his solution was to just cancel the whole thing and leave me hanging. If I had not needed that poorly kept 5x9, I would have left.

Air conditioner did not work, my poor dog liked to pant her heart out. Rattle in the undercarriage made me uneasy. Damage done to the center console before I took it. Window knob kept falling off. I'm surprised the vehicle made it this far. The fella was nice but the place was a dump. Didn't give me all the paperwork and was upfront about it. I will not go back

This was not the location I requested to pick up my truck causing me to be late to meet the movers which in turn cost me and extra $50. The truck was low on oil to start and the engine was missing terribly. Rons tire guy was very nice and helpful at least.

I had a $20 VIP code I left in the driver seat of the truck. That was never taken off my account. I have still been charged full price for the rental. This location is really sketchy.

I had requested a closer location but you switched me to this location. the truck and location were fine but you cost me an additional $90.00 for mileage because of this change. Will make me think more the next time.

I was charged for insurance that I declined. I have called uhaul twice (spent over 15 minutes on hold) to try and resolve but have still not received a refund. Not blaming the pickup location as it appears it was a computer issue. Would like to get my money back without having to spend even more time on the phone.

Truck was terrible to drive. Not sure if it was because there were flat spots in the tires from were it sits so much, or if something was wrong with the suspension/drivetrain. I know those trucks aren't supposed to ride particularly well when not loaded but, this was different. After the truck was loaded, the ride was still rough and I was hoping my cargo wouldn't be damaged when we reached the destination. Luckily, it wasn't.

The sweet gentleman at the Lancaster, Kentucky location was very nice, helpful, and did a great job explaining things to my husband and I. The haul was clean with a full tank of gas! We had no trouble driving it From Burgin, Ky to Concord NC.. It was a life saver for us. Thank you.

Problem was this location was only 42 miles further that the pick-up location I had set up when making reservations. No further miles were added to my limited amount however I put an extra 84 miles on my personal automobile

I had to drop off the trailer after hours on Monday, Nov. 11. I tried to call about 10 times on Tuesday, Nov. 12 to confirm check-in. The phone was never answered so I could not check. It was frustrating.

This location is a small local shop. Very friendly which was appreciated. However, it did not have clear signage about parking, where to wait, where to go to pick-up the rental, etc. The gentleman handling the U-haul rentals is a very nice person and worked HARD to take care of the renters. Unfortunately, there is a problem either in instruction or the setup for him with the computer system...this MUST be fixed. The poor man spent some time trying to take care of getting my paperwork and turning me out with my rental...it really took precious time that I and my help just had to wait out.
