First of all we called early enough to make sure we had a truck. We set it up for 7:00 am pick up. We assumed it was at the big store on McArthur in Alexandria,La. (Our fault it wasn't that location). They explained it was at another location and told us how to get there. When we got there, no one was there and the store was closed. it was 7:45 by then. We called the number on the window that said if there is a problem call him. We did. He was very rude and said he tried to call and text us that he didn't open until 10:00 am. We were a little mad at that time and upset with him because he said if we wanted the truck we would have to come back at 10:00. Words were exchanged and he hung up on us! We live about 30 miles from Alexandria and had movers coming to load the truck at 9:00. In the end UHaul mad it right with us and we got a truck by 9:30 am and we were on our way. The lady at the McArthur store was awesome! She helped us out a bunch!

Employee who helped me with getting the truck was late to arrive to meet me. Then after he arrived he received a personal call on his cellphone. He took his call, ignoring me, and finished his conversation before helping me.

When I asked about a military discount, I was told that it was only available in the Leesville, LA near Fort Polk! As a retired Marine Corps Officer this was very insulting to my service to my country and shocking coming from the U-Haul company.

The 10 ft truck sounded as if the transmission was slipping. The string/pulley on the door in back was broken as well. The movers had to adjust it several times. The air conditioning was amazing. The Uhaul representative provided excellent service. Our time at the desk was quick and easy. That helped facilitate the start of a great day. We appreciate you.

Damaged tow dolly. Passenger side finder was damaged and same side break light did not work. Damaged finder was not noted on rental contract. Ensure the equipment is not damaged, safe and fully functional prior to rental.

My rental was transferred to this location and the experience was a negative one, I would not recommend having to deal with this location. I began at the main U-Haul location in Alexandria, La. they were extremely helpful (Jessica) kind and courteous.

No one was there at scheduled time to pick up uHaul. No one answered the phone. We had to wait for 30 min. In the meantime, we got in touch with customer service whose only solution was to send us to a different pickup location 30 min away! We were disconnected on the line and they didn't even bother calling us back for well over an hour. Once the Rep at the original location finally showed up, he wasn't even apologetic. Very dissatisfied.

The building was in poor condition. The owner didn't check the condition of the truck when I returned it. He then called to demand we come back and wipe out some footprints in the box and dirt on the floorboards (It rained for 2 days during the move.. I had to pay an extra charge since I didn't have cleaning supplies. I was also surprised that the truck didn't have cruise control and a mid size truck only got 9 miles to the gallon.

In the future it would be helpful if the customer knows the drop off location in advance. I had the address where I needed to leave the truck but wasn't given the i address. I was told to call once I got there.

Dropped off trailer and worker/manager was too busy talking with a person out in his pickup truck to help or even give clear instructions beyond where to park the trailer. I ended-up unhooking the trailer myself, and stood around in office before he lolly-gagged, sauntered in to tell me "I got you covered, an email receipt will be sent to you." So, we left with no paperwork indicating the trailer had been received clean, without damages, etc. Extremely poor service and would recommend UHaul to discontinue this location as a service center.

The truck didn't run very well. It was having a hard time shifting gears! I think it sucks that they charged me over $35 dollars for cleaning!!! I only had the truck for about 3 hours! We brought it back just as we picked it up so I do not k ow why they charges me $ over $35 dollars to clean it and it says nothing about that charge when u rent it!!!

The truck was dirty and the man was trying to charge me extra because my reservation was moved to his location!!! He wasn't even ready for me even though I made reservation 2weeks in advance. This was the worst uhaul experience I have ever had. Everyone I dealt with from uhaul was rude, tried to over charge me and made me feel unwelcome.

It was Saturday afternoon.. truck was already late.and had to pick it up at a different location other than the one I booked with.... didn't tell me uhaul did not except checks... so spent 2 1/2 hrs trying to pay for it other ways which he had no clue how to work the computer to get it to accept payment..had to go back to original store I booked through to get moving boxes.. told them my ordeal and they said ' we would've taken your check?????? I hate a liar

i was not the location that i was told when i reserved the unit. i was called Friday night and told my truck was at that location and no the one on MacArthur Dr. i was told that i had to pick the truck by 12 noon. when i reserved the truck i told the lady i could not pick the truck up until 5 pm or later. i called the next morning around 11 am asking if i was picking up the truck that they needed to leave. so i had to send someone else to pick it up.

This man told me that because I paid cash I was not to get none of my hundred dollar deposit back and was real rude I could understand if I did not refill the gas or sum stuff but this man was rude and had a even nastier tone when I asked about the deposit the name deposit means something should be returned but Uhaul will not get another dime of my money!!!!!!!!

If your rate is 69 cents a mile and you save the plan online it shouldn't change from that because you pick the truck up on a Friday and not Thursday. Especially if the reopened your order

Facility was poorly maintained and dirty. Staff was friendly, but untrained. I completed the express rental portion on-line, but this did not speed up the process. Pricing was also different than what my on-line confirmation said it would be. The difference was $87. The clerk refunded the difference, but this too took extra time.

Training. Everyone needs more training on your equipment, from the location personnel to the district manager. Nothing about this rental experience went smoothly. I would rather use any other rental truck service.

get a better functioning online reservation system. The one i made was not verified then took me to a different state for pickup. The dropoff location was a poorly marked storage area with no personnel, I was hesitant to leave the equipment at the dropoff location.

I was very frustrated that even with a 3 week reservation I had to fight to get a truck and still had to drive 30 miles to get an auto transport. The truck was dirty and rough to drive. (I have rented several trucks in the past and this was by far the worst truck I have recieved.) Kim, was wonderful, but the process was aggrevating.

First off I had to drive from Morehead Ky to Red River Gorge Ky to pick this truck up. It was missing a mirror and the cab and box of the truck was extremely dirty. The missing mirror made the truck very dangerous to drive. Upon returning the truck I was charged an 100 dollar cleaning fee which I will not pay. I think that is bullshit. I do not feel like I should have to clean up after some one else. There was mud in the cab and the ash tray was full of ash and ciggarette butts when I picked the truck up. The box of the truck was very dirty as well which I did clean upon returning the truck. I will not pay the 100 dollar cleaning fee and I will never use Uhaul again, and I recommend the same for everyone else.
