Your 24/7 service is god awful. Trying to get the truck checked out online and over the app is one of the most confusing, broken systems I have seen. I had scheduled pickup at 8 am. I was in the lot sitting next to the truck at 8 am and your website wouldn't update saying I was in the correct location until after 9 am. But it still counted that hour as part of my rental. Thankfully I didn't need that hour, but wasting time due to a bad system on your part is not cool.Jesse K.

The Uhaul check in process was incredibly time consuming, overly complicated and frustrating. It took over a half an hour which cut into our already short rental time. Highly disappointing. Would reconsider using U-Haul in the future due to the check-in process.Mitchel M.
No one was there; I dropped it off early, about 8:00. While there I called the number for Rockstar Automotive, but got a recording only; the recorded message just says "leave a message" without identifying the business so I could not really tell if it was the right place. I tried, as instructed, to use the U-Haul website, which started to work but when it got the place where the app wanted to confirm my location it could not read my location, even though I followed the instructions to let the U-Haul app have my location. BEcause I had a plane to catch I could not wait around. I had my husband call through the morning, then called Rockstar when I got home. No answer, ever. Late in the afternoon I called U-Haul. Waited nearly an hour on hold (after being told my approximate wait time was 15 minutes). When I finally spoke to a person (who was very lovely and helpful), she could confirm that the truck had not been checked in, had only the number for Rockstar that I did, but told me that she had put in a notice for them to call me when the truck was marked received. I did, the following day, get an email confirming that the truck was checked in, but nobody called me. Not only was the wait time on the phone nearly an hour, your hold music (if it can be called that) is horrible.SIOBHAN M.

After calling and confirming after hours pickup the code for the key box was not provided. Luckily, I presume an employee drove in and gave me a phone number to call. Three phone numbers later I talked to a U-Haul employee I believe, and did get the code. The bind I got into was the storage unit I needed to empty out closed at 9pm and loosing about 90 minutes trying to get the truck was frustrating. This is the first time I had difficulties getting a truck and I have used U-Haul numerous times in the recent past.Christopher S.

I picked up the truck and and I end up putting more gas in then it had in it when I first picked it up then she still charge me an extra 1450 for gas she tried to tell me it was full when I picked it up and that was a lie because it wasn't even on the line right before. I picked up the truck I didn't even go that far it cost me $30 in gas just to go from 619 Mendota Street went to 1166 Hazelwood off of Maryland it's like 5 minutes away from my house so was not happy I felt like they took advantage of me and overcharged me for gas I have a truck myself and $10 last me all day I can understand if I was going across town but literally it's 5 minutes away and to charge me 1450 after already put $11 in gas in is crazyNICOLE L.

I wasn't aware that there wasn't a safe place where the dolly could be out up safely. And I didn't know there wouldn't be some sort of hatch to make putting furniture into the truck easier. There wasn't any kind of explanation of how the truck works upon my arrival after stating I've never used one before. No kind of equipment demonstration . So I had to figure everything out on my own.ISIS S.
I reserved my truck, for a mobile pickup, at 8am. I couldn't get it until they opened. I added furniture blankets and a dolly to my order, but they didnt have it. I was disappointed to find out that I couldn't pick up the truck at my reserved time, and on top of it I didnt get the items I required with my order. 2/5 starts for me.KYLE C.

I am frustrated with how frequently uhaul changes my pickup location. This has happened with the past 3 rentals. In this case, the location was not open at the time my family planned to start moving my grandmother, which required us all to adjust our schedules. I chose the original pickup location because it was closest to my home. In the future I will be choosing another rental company even if they are farther away.John C.

We were about to drive from MN to Alaska, cutting through Canada and snowy Rocky Mountains in a cold October, all during COVID19. We were extra careful in asking after a good truck and we were very happy with the maintenance of the vehicle and the staff as they answered our questions and were just warm and friendly to us. no one was at the location when they were suppose to be open, so i call u haul and let them know i was dropping off the trailer. So i did not have any contact with any person there. It was a old parking lot of a warehouse and a used car lot, but it did work for drop off. As i was waiting a other person showed up wanting a rental and was in a hurry but could not rent anything as 1/2 hour after they were to be open no one was there to open business. This time I feel so disappointed in U-Haul service. I ordered 20' truck and full car tow on last . Pick-up location is apple valley nearby my house. When I placed the order them website showed it was available. Two days before I pick up the truck they informed me that the place to pick up the truck and tow was 25 miles from my home address!! I did not even get a dolly in that far place!! I have to go to another branch to pick it up!! The truck and tow did not do any inspection even the signal cable if the tow were not connected!!!Chun C.

Have the dealer receive training on uhaul rentals. Have the dealer work with uhaul to ensure all equipment is ready to rent. Have the dealer clean up and improve the condition of their facilities.Clifford B.

Serious safety error as tech did not secure trailer tightly enough. It came off in bad section of Richmind 4 miles from return location. Thankfully no physical damage done, but the emotional damage could have been avoided per the helpful delivery staff who helped my daughter return trailer safely. Please reprimand staff at St.Paul location. I'd like to be reimbursed at least half my expenses and have it come from St Paul technician salary.Michelle C.
I scheduled an 800am pickup through TruckShare and had to wait til 10am for the office to open since no one on staff moved my truck from the night before. It WAS STUCK IN BETWEEN 3 DIFFERENT VEHICLES. No apology given, just â€œoh I didn't think about thatâ€ from the employee.Vu H.
