I put the key back in the appropriate lockbox upon return to pickup site but then was asked to take and upload photos of the odometer reading and gas tank. By that time those two things were no longer viewable on the instrument panel. People should be made aware of this error in the order of steps for checking trucks in
Guana S.The equipment was not at the rental location. I found this out 2 hours before my moving guys that I paid for were to arrive. I ended up finding a small truck available close to my location and took that one. I was only able to move part of the contents of my house. My sister had to keep the truck longer and load ourselves and make another trip to storage unit. We didn't finish until 10pm. I will not use uHaul again. Why make a reservation in advance if you don't have a truck guarantee.

steel H.Website said they opened at 8:30. I arrived at 8:45. Several people ignored me as they entered a chain gate with interaction. Finally asked a second person to get help. Finally told I could come into the office only to be told that she wasn't open yet, give me your key. No checking the truck...nothing. Left me feeling uneasy and uncomfortable. It was a convenient location but service was not normal for UHaul at all.
Connie B.UHaul customer service refused to offer me a partial refund, Robs Auto Repair was not willing to give a partial refund. I will never use UHaul again due to the absolutely horrid customer service of the company. When I told customer reps this in person and over the phone, I was told to "go ahead and use another company". Thus, I will use another company in the future.

People at this location were very professional and very nice I realize it's not their fault that the door didn't work and that the call center kept changing locations I don't want that to be held against this particular location because they were very kind there but this entire situation was a cluster fuck sorry that's about the nicest thing I can say about it but I'll tell you what after having a really bad weekend the attitude of the assistant manager at the location where I returned in Auburn was beyond ridiculous and his attitude made things much worse I'm half tempted to simply go to small claims court tomorrow and file a $5000 claim against Uhaul. He turned a bad situation into something bad but he had full authority to do so so beware....

Travis A.There was one major problem, both the rep on the phone and the email did not tell me that on Saturday it is a self-check in site. I waited an hour past the pickup time for them to open, only to find out I could have gotten the key from a lockbox. I did use the online check in, but it also did not tell me I could get the key from the box. Finally, the location answered the phone and helped me. I had people waiting to help me move, so this was not good.

David V.Unfortunately we were having some trouble with the padlock that held the key. The owner of the site was thankfully there, however before we got a hold of him, I reached out to uhaul help and the person I spoke to was ZERO help. There should be a better way if there is an issue. She just kept saying words to try in the pad lock that made no sense. Very frustrating. I am grateful the owner was there and was able to help. For after hours rentals, I think if there would have been a pad lock issue, uhaul needs to me more accommodating and helpful.

Mike C.Uhaul charges too much per mile. Budget is cheaper, 50 cents cheaper! And they have coupons/discounts to use. Even for local runs. Unfortunately I may look at budget and use them in 2 weeks. Love the location. The gentleman were super nice and awesome. And great customer service. Just uhaul charges more then budget. I feel they should be cheaper.

TEYONDA O.Rented car trailer. Looked new. Renter automatically added safemove without asking, an option I planned to decline as my auto insurer covered it. He also offered no help or guidance loading the car. I had to go to a U-Haul sited to get help as I couldn't get under the trailer to attach the front safety chain to the car.
steven J.This location charged my debit card (without notifying me for approval) several days after the return of my equipment. Thank you Portland Cental U-Haul reservations line for a quick and easy refund but it doesn't make up for a shady dealer (rental location).
