Store was closed and locked when I got there to pick up the key. despite Google saying it was open. I had to look up the store phone number, and within a few minutes they opened the door for me. I paid online before I arrived. The online check in said I would just have to get the key. Allegedly, I could show them the screen on my phone to get the key released. They had no record of payment on their end, and required to take my credit card again. They had me complete the document upload a total of 4 times. The computer system said my credit card was not valid, and would not process. After them trying for another 45 minutes, the credit card was processed successfully and they gave me the key. Now 1 HOUR after the pickup time. The tank had less gas than was listed on the contract. I had to add more gas than I used to get it up to the contract amount. There was garbage in the cab too, despite them saying it was â€˜clean and sanitized' Upon returning, I informed them of this, and took photos. They brushed it off. They proceeded to charge me for mileage in excess of the original estimate. They couldn't get my credit card to work again, so I ended up having to pay debit. The original credit charge sat on my account for at least a week. Staff also did not wear masks despite government mandates for businesses, and a declared public health emergency. I'd estimate fault at about 50/50 Uhaul vs. RN Pinoy for this bad experience, since it took the uhaul portal an hour to update and show record of my payment. The rest is all on the shop.Daniel H.

They told me to shove the key under the door.. the key didn't fit under the door. I called and left a voicemail saying that I would drop the keys off at 1pm the following day â€" when they opened â€" got a call at 12:15 the following day and had to show up 10 minutes late for my work (zoom) meeting because they needed the keys back. If they had a reservation at the moment they opened and didn't have a key drop-off at the location, they should not have rented the u-haul to me 30 minutes before they closed. The man was also extremely condescending when I came to drop off the keys on a dime. When he called, I clearly explained that I had a work meeting in 15 minutes and when I arrived to drop off the keys (mind you I had to uber due to the extremely late notice) he tried to mansplain to me where I was supposed to drop the keys off the night prior. I had a bad experience the first time I used this location for a u-haul rental and decided to give them another try (knowing that it was their first day with a u-haul). I will never come back to this location. I would rather uber to Kensington (from downtown Calgary) and rent from the location on 17th Ave SE (the lady there was extremely understanding and polite).Riley W.
