Was overcharged and I also called to let them know we can be 15 minutes late when I brought the truck if there nobody was there but I left the key and the contract and it was spotless inside and filled with gas and when I called and spoke to whoever it was they told me that it was fine and he would only charge me for that one day

There was nothing wrong with location, the lady and her son were very helpful. I just don't like that uhaul promised me a truck in Las Vegas. The night before they call me telling me to go to mesquite 90 miles away and then expect me to pay for the fuckkng gas! 100$ and 5 hours of my life gone. Fuck your corporate for not having its shit together. If there was no truck available you should've just had it sold out from the beginning. I could've used a different company.

This location is the back of a strip mail with no real parking lot. The location could be improved simply by parking the trucks in a straight line in a designated location. The employee inspected and checked in the truck quickly and we were on our way in just a few minutes.

Because of the mask issue, not too inviting, but the employees were nice, helpful, and accomodating outside.

Was notified 18hrs before pick up time that item wasn't available at that time. I was told to call Ace Hardware if I needed ia trailer at 9 am. Later the owner told me they don't carry trailers like I needed. Nothing comparable was offered. I agreed to a smaller trailer, and a later time. I made every concession I could to work with them.They did nothing to provide a trailer as promised. Next day they didn't have the trailer I contracted for, or even the smaller one they promised as a back up. They almost found it humorous. I was offered a 10 foot truck. Means I leave my car there for 2 days, and do double work to load. I paid people to load and now changed times. I couldn't jump up into a truck. They other trailer they had was with a flat tire. All cost me more money with my hired help. Knowing from overheard conversations that the owner had rented my trailer to a friend, I repeated that to him and he said he was insulted and thew me out of his store, and then threatened calling the police to have me arrested for trespassing, even as I stood outside the U-haul office. All witnessed by the U-haul president of marketing, SD and his co-worker. Only minutes before me, at 70 years old would have my first confrontation ever with police, the trailer showed up. The owner greeted the renter calling him by his first name and telling him he is on his shit list. Clearly proved I was correct in saying that he rented it to a friend or a better customer than me. That's the comment that supposedly insulted the owner and is when he asked me to leave. I was correct. Throwing me out would have been an excellent solution to a problem he created. But I couldn't leave. I planned on moving that day, at 9 am, and had hired help. I needed a trailer. I had to move. I couldn't jump up into a truck. They offered no solution to a problem U-Haul created, accept to throw me out. The owner also refused to give me his name. None of this, his attitude, the rudeness, condescending speech, foul language bad behavior, go call Ace, late notification they don't have a trailer, the threats of police and much much more including yelling and swearing at his employee, is hardly a good U-Haul standard for dealing with any customer, yet alone a U-Haul customer. I have used U-Haul exclusively for over 40 years. Never ever again.

Yeah maybe make sure that the gas gauge on the form that I sign is accurate to the fucking gas that's in the truck itself. My paper said to fill it and keep it at a half a tank yet my truck only started with a quarter tank of gas. Wow. What a rip off. The best part, I was only making a single trip in town, with a total of 5 miles=not much gas to be used.

No other choice in town. They are in an alley and the alley and parking lot were PACKED with units, so nowhere to park! I handed my paperwork to lady inside, she instructed a gentleman to show me where to go, and I did. He unhooked the trailer. Went back inside, as I wanted my paperwork back, but she was on the phone and I had to wait. No problem except that she found my paperwork in the trash. Really? If you did not need it, then why did she take it from me? Everyone was rude and cold, and their little alley office leaves a lot to be desired!

I was told that I would get $50 off because I had to drive from Las Vegas to Mesquite. When I asked about it at pickup I was told that it was hard to reach corporate for the discount and that I could get the promised $50 when I dropped off. At drop off, I was told that they couldn't help me. I spent at least $60 in gas with my motorhome going to and from Mesquite to get my trailer. I am not happy.

The staff and service were friendly and efficient. I chose no to the clean and inviting location because the trucks are on a rough dirt lot, and the door to the office is next to a very smelly and dirty garbage area. I was only inside the office briefly, and it was ok - pretty average and utilitarian. I did appreciate that there was plenty of space on the lot to maneuver.
