I went to drop off the truck after hours on Wednesday 12/27 6:15 to be exact. Address provided by Uhaul was 804 woodsweather RD in KC. When I went to drop off, facility was completely locked up and at the 804 address there was no key drop, instructions for overnight drop off. So I left, not feeling very secure about the location. I got a call from the facility at 830 that evening asking why I didn’t leave the truck and that they had my truck booked for a rental the next morning. FYI my rental was till Friday 12/29 so how could they have rented my truck out? She went on to tell me that I should have parked the vehicle in front of the building and put the keys in the mail slot of address 800 Woodsweather Rd which is not the address provided on my confirmation or U-Haul website, seems very unprofessional! Now I’m being charged for mileage, gas when I tried to drop off early because of this unprofessionalism. I would like to see the additional charges completely refunded and my bill prorated for dropping off a full day early! It would have been a same day drop off.

Kambrea MThere was no one there. Anita texted me to call her when I was there so she could walk me through hooking up the trailer. This is extremely unsafe and unprofessional. Also, she added the protection when I did not select it. It still hasn't been removed.
Joseph BShowed up to pick up, no one was there. We already had to change locations because they called and said they wouldn’t have a truck available anymore, at the original spot. I had ordered it well in advance.

cody bThe location is not anyone's fault, but there wasn't clear instruction on where to place the truck. There isn't a lockbox that looks like the one in your photos. You slide the key through a mailbox slot - Which someone who I assumed worked there shared with me. I also had issues with location services.

David FUHaul website and technology is terrible. Many times I click on a link and it goes to nowhere.
David Rwould like to pick up through a well staffed dealership. truck was clean but had a rough ride due to poor shocks and a pronounced shake/vibration at 60 mph.
Bruce MGet better help! She did not know how to install nothing made us do it ourselves. Added add ons without asking so she over charged us without our knowledge. Never renting their again.
Cleotilde RThe lady left while we were Returning the equipment, all she said was take a picture and drop in the key. We had issues accessing the website and there was no one to help us. We called customer service and waited on hold for a long period of time and again no one helped us.
Erykah MCame to the location with my kiddo, no one available(door was locked and business wasn’t open) and truck was behind a fence. Spent .22 caliber shells in the parking lot. Not a super great area. Waited almost an hour for the owner to get to the location. Then the truck I was assigned wasn’t cleaned, gas tank was almost empty, and apparently I was charged for a dolly and blankets I didn’t order and definitely didn’t receive.

Diana GNot being able to go faster than 75 was dangerous at times and the lack of cruise control made a 9 hour journey longer. My brand new credit card was marked as frauded the same day I charged the rental. Kinda suspicious.

Carys JAnita went above and beyond. Check-in and check-out were fast, easy, and done electronically. The location was perfect for picking up our antiques in the West Bottoms, and there was no line whatsoever. The front desk space is so nice I did a double-take when I first walked in to make sure I was in a U-Haul rental office. Absolutely coming back here! Thank you, Anita!

Danelle JDifficult to find even with GPS. Rough part of town. Only one woman did not seen educated or experienced in UHaul rentals, changed our pick up time for personal reasons. Sorry told us she is divorced after 30 years, but horrible service and local.
Karen WThey over charged me the price that was agreed on was not what was taken from my card. They just assumed I wanted to put 154$ insurance on the truck I used they put 3 different 34$ holds to my card for using an in town pick up truck...I needed to change my reservation to a sooner date and was told I couldn’t do that and they wanted me to get a bigger truck then I needed and pay the full price I had to drive past a large uhaul location 20 min past to a small drop off location for no one to be there and the last on the 1800. Number told me that was my problem they I shouldn’t have wanted or changed my original reservation....then the truck had 1,000 more miles on it then they had register in the computer and Tried to make me pay the miles on it (miles I didn’t drive)
