Place in high crime area. Equipment filthy. Got charged for fuel when I brought it back with more than I picked it up with. Also getting charged for cleaning the truck I did not dirrty. Wont use you again.Paul P.
The service agent was very rude and disrespectful for no reason what so ever. He did not have a computer to check me in and did not even want to get me the proper key for my rental agreement. He then threatened me and called the police with false accusations that I was being cross with him but everything is on camera. Even him taking keys out of the box throwing them to the ground and telling me to either pick them up or go somewhere else. The police told him that it just seemed to be a misunderstanding that he was blowing out of proportion and he needs to calm down stop being so disrespectful and just give me what I paid for so I can leave. Then I was over charged and was getting harassing calls from blocked numbers for a entire week straight during my rental period. Uhaul should not have someone like that with access to people's personal and banking information. I don't feel safe atbthis point for me or my family because of his access to my personal information. He told me that he doesn't give a damn about Uhaul that he works for Shell and they are two different entities. He has no respect for Uhaul, Shell or their patrons. I will never pick up from this location ever again and would warn anyone else against patronizing them either.Alicia S.

There are no clear signs indicating that this is a UHAUL rental return location. It's a dumpy gas station. I only assumed I was in the right place because the address matched and there were a couple of other UHAUL trucks there. There were no live people on site. I tried doing the return using my phone, but even though I turned on location access via the instructions, it wouldn't link up. I finally gave up and left my keys and contract in the lock box. Creepy place, really poor as a drop-off location. My phone takes photos,but won't send them anywhere, so I couldn't take photos to show there was no damage. Then, even though I dropped the truck off on the 21st, it took more than a week to get my receipt, and the receipt says 0 in all categories. Somehow I don't suspect this was free. In fact, the charge shows up on my credit card statement, so why is the receipt blank? So odd. Also, the truck had some sort of issue, making scary "acceleration" sounds when idling or slowing down for a stop light. I have no idea what that was about.KATHERINE D.

The lot was at a gas station. It was small and it made it difficult to park a 26' truck. I managed to park it safely beside the other U-Haul trucks, but it was slightly blocking access to one of the gas pumps. Then, upon receiving my receipt, it said that I left the tank under half a tank and was charged $47.50 for 10 gallons. Thankfully, I foresaw that I could be scammed and took a picture of the dash upon drop off. The mileage matches the in mileage, but my gas tank is full more than 5/8ths, as was the amount in the tank upon pick up and the amount instructed to be refilled, not the less than half which was depicted in the receipt. I noticed the receipt was processed by your employee Rashon Williams. Further investigation is necessary. If Rashon filled 10 gallons of gas at $4.70 per gallon, he did not put it in that truck. I will be happy to email or text the picture I took of the dash before exiting and locking the vehicle upon return.David W.
I have originally reserved a 26 ft truck, to learn the afternoon prior, that there was no truck available. We had to change to a 20 ft truck, and the pick up location. This made our move very difficult to pack and take all of our goods.Greta H.
When I pick up the truck it was filled with someone else's junk that I had to find a way to dispose of. When I called the location to inform them of the issue they simply said that's not my problem what do you want me to do about it.Tyesha M.

The van they asked me to take wasn't the van they told me to take. ePaperwork said one van; the van they asked me to take was a different one. Waste of my time. Was even asked to wait until 9am after arriving at 8.50 am to pick up the van. The â€˜ePaperwork' circus took 40 minutes to complete, despite me pre-filing as much as I could the day before for an â€˜easy check out experience'. I had to go through the whole process again because the system wouldn't accept the change in van, despite doing what had been requested. Honk, honk! This place is just missing some big floppy shoes, rainbow wigs and red noses. Will be using an actual rental company in future.Simon C.

Not the fault of the man at the pickup location but my reservation was changed without my knowledge from a pickup location 10 minutes from my house to this one which was 40 minutes away. Then when I arrived not even an hour late they said my reservation has been cancelled because I had not arrived on time and were able to do nothing to helpCaleb C.
We reserved a truck and prepaid online. Actually called and spoke to Mohammed to confirm he saw the reservation. He had the reservation and assured us a truck would be available the next day. The next day we called to let Mohammed know we were on our way. Mohammed informs us that there is no truck available at his location because he made a mistake. He apologizes and says he found us a truck at a different location and sends us across town to get it. We arrived at the new location and the staff acted like we had 3 eyeballsâ€¦â€¦ they never talked to Mohammed and they definitely did not have a truck for us. What a fiasco!! Fortunately, when we contacted the 1-800 number for U-Haul we were assisted with superior customer service skills and the situation was immediately rectified. We got the truck at Mohammed's location that was sitting in the parking lot the entire time he had us running around Wilmington, DE. The truck was actually reserved in our name. Hopefully Mohammed will be receiving some remedial training on how to visualize reservations in the U-Haul computer system.THOMASGARRETT L.

Never seen customer service like this and I have been in customer service for well over 25 years. First - get notified literally the night before that my location was changing 20 minutes away and later in the morning. Who does that? Completely changed so many things now on my end and unnecessarily added miles to my trip. Called your customer service and they basically told us "it is what it is" Second - we get there at 10am for my 10am appointment and there is no truck. Your area rep gets a hold of the customer who had the truck and says he should be back by 11am. Again how does this happen? My original appointment was at 9:30...last minute you move it to 10am and ultimately your current customer puts in a position where I am now starting my trip at 11am. Completely destroyed my plans and added a ton of stress to our day!Dan Y.

The man at the counter worked very hard to get the reservation straightened out. The UHaul system of text messages and website uploads by mobile phone failed both on pickup and return, which cost me well over an hour of great frustration. The UHaul web page locked up my iPhone both times. Corporate needs to sort out their problems. This can't be blamed on the local office.CRAIG O.

Let people know more than 24 hours in advance if you aren't going to have the truck the reserved ready at the time requested. I had movers all set (through UHaul) and a 26' truck reserved for 9:00 Sat. Got a call around 2 PM Friday that couldn't get it until 11:30 Saturday in a location almost 30 minutes from where I needed it. I wound up having to get a 20' truck instead with pick up the day before I needed it so I'd have to meet my moving help. Luckily they at least gave me extra miles to cover the distance. Then when I picked it up, there was all kinds of confusion about the rental. Very disappointing overall compared to previous rentals.Lee S.

Man at the counter said he don't know how to do the rental, called his boss with no answer, i stood around for 20 minutes while he serving other customers, waiting for an answer and not getting any!!!! i called Uhaul and ask if they can do the reservation and they did. the kid give me the keys i asked for contract, he replied you don't need any!!!! how about any paperwork!!!! nothing. Gas and mileage, nothing!!!!!. i rented many trucks before an i never seen it done this way!!!!!!!! i returned the truck around 5pm they were close!!!! no one to talk to.!!!!!!!!!Emad A.
