When getting to the location the worker had no idea about a uhaul and I had to call the person in charge of the uhaul. The store did not even call for me I had to do it. When getting the person on the phone she was super helpful and it went smoothly after that.

Strap ratchet on passenger's side would tighten but would not release. I didn't think I needed to check it prior to leaving. Very disappointed. Agent was very nice.

Unfortunately, this is a very rural and small drop of location. It was the one that U-Haul had on my paperwork and it was 20 miles out of my way but I went there anyway. Upon arrival, the U-Haul rep at the site could not find my reservation to return it. She called her local regional rep who did not answer the phone. I dropped off the trailer 1 hour prior to it's due time of 11 am. She assured me they would take care of it. I trusted her and that was my mistake. It was not taken care off. I spend countless hours trying to get a U-Haul person to answer the phone at the 1-800 number over the next two days. Finally, one answered and marked the trailer as returned for us. Then, the very next day, I got charged on my credit card for an extra day rental for the trailer. Now, we been trying to get a hold of the regional rep, and he's not returning our calls either. It's not about the $30 extra dollars for the extra day, but it's the principal of the matter. You gave us the run-a-round and then charged us for your incompetence. I will try your competitor next time. Unacceptable.
