Unfortunately, this is a very rural and small drop of location. It was the one that U-Haul had on my paperwork and it was 20 miles out of my way but I went there anyway. Upon arrival, the U-Haul rep at the site could not find my reservation to return it. She called her local regional rep who did not answer the phone. I dropped off the trailer 1 hour prior to it's due time of 11 am. She assured me they would take care of it. I trusted her and that was my mistake. It was not taken care off. I spend countless hours trying to get a U-Haul person to answer the phone at the 1-800 number over the next two days. Finally, one answered and marked the trailer as returned for us. Then, the very next day, I got charged on my credit card for an extra day rental for the trailer. Now, we been trying to get a hold of the regional rep, and he's not returning our calls either. It's not about the $30 extra dollars for the extra day, but it's the principal of the matter. You gave us the run-a-round and then charged us for your incompetence. I will try your competitor next time. Unacceptable.Kai G.
