I was told I could not drop off the trailer there when I called. A young woman told me that. Then I told her U-Haul had given me that address and that I could call corporate if necessary. Then she relented and told me to just drop if off by other trailers. When I went into the office to ask for a receipt, she finally came out and I got a receipt by email. After all that, she finally said, "Have a nice day." I would never, ever use this location again. The U-Haul location on South Houghton Road flat refused to accept the trailer and told me I could get a $250 fine if I left it there. That guy was rude. You really have your work cut out for you.David T.

If you advertise being open at 9 AM then be open. I stopped down to rent a trailer and told it wasn't available. Went home to go online to make a reservation and online it was available. Booked it and went back down to pick it up. Need to work a little bit I'm customer serviceMark P.

Didn't have enough moving blankets even though I ordered a couple of weeks in advance. I was supposed to pick up at 8:30 before they opened, but the blankets and two dollies that I ordered were not in the truck so I would have had to wait until they opened to complete my order. Lucky I was running late or I would have paid for my movers to wait for this...SCOTT S.

The vehicle I was assigned was clean and driveable for the most part, but the transmission wouldn't shift as it should. There were several times when I would be in the third gear and the RPMs would exceed 3000 and it sounded like it needed to shift, but it wouldn't. I ended up having to switch it to neutral and then back into drive and then it would usually jump into fourth gear and work as expected from there. Only a small number of times did it properly shift from third to fourth as expected without the need to change to neutral first.EDWIN R.

I was first assigned to houghton location and they didn't have the truck there, then drive to rita rd which had the truck but not the dolly I needed. It took so long to get things resolved which was stressful because I was paying someone to help me move by the hour. I was very upset but the lady at the rita ranch location was really nice and helped me outCHARMAINE S.

I was charged an extra $100 for damage that was done after the truck was returned. I had also paid for trip insurance to cover any issues, so I got charged for insurance and a damage charge.JOHN T.

Before leaving and requesting to add additional coverage we were told they can't change the orderâ€¦but we could at the 1-800#â€¦we call but they say can't add it after the van has been dispatched but will send us to another person. After 25 minutes on hold we are told we exceeded our 15 min limit and can't add the coverage. When we receive a call 24 hours later we are told it could have been added! Have not as yet received a good receipt of rental showing paid in full. It shows what I rented but no charges or payments shown, only zeroes. Only proof I have of payment is the charge on my bank VISA card. I will contact the office tomorrow and ask them to send me a complete receipt.THOMAS P.

Make sure ordered equipment is in truck. Second time I didn't get my appliance dolly. Other than that was a great move with no issues with truck.Joel S.
The van had an issue where you slow down and power steering would lose boost and you suddenly have a beast to try to steer with your own sheer muscle. It was not safe. I told the rep upon drop off who offered no concession for it. I also had to travel 14 miles out of my way to pickup at this location because another didn't have my truck. I was told this with 45 minutes notice and it nearly ruined my nice day. Not a happy customerJOSEPH WILLIAM P.

Clearer rental period time frame. The UHaul rep stated I had 24 hours but I received a text stating the vehicle was due back in three hours. My reservation was for 9:30 but I was not given keys until 10:30. Text stated vehicle was due back at 1:30 so I really only had 3 hours.LOUIS M.

These people are terrible customer service. They charged me for extra day rental then said they can't return the money. I have to go through district manager. Then customer service agent at aRita Ranch dig wash said oh I will return your money for the actual rental then charged me for two more days. What a joke.
