No parking available for truck and trailer. Did the best I could at 7 am on Saturday, 9/11/21 on my way to the airport. No one there to check me in so I checked it in online... or so I thought.Wendy M.
Location was closest for pick-up, so that was good. There is quite a lot of traffic to contend with on that corner. Homeless people sitting in front of building next to truck. Liquor store that shares the lot - pretty nasty.Ran C.
Everything's everything that was said to me was totally fraudulent I called in about the car being or the truck almost being stolen and tried to take it in and swap it out for another vehicle and had issues and then in the end it was almost reported stolen on the verge of that and the cops we're involved and it turned into a big old fiasco and the truck got towed back to whatever location I have rented so many U-Hauls in my life that I can't believe that this actually happened to me and I'm looking at emails cuz this is an account I don't use very much and there's an enormous balance due which is totally asinine so I'm completely dissatisfied I'll never recommend anyone to your company and as an owner of a moving company I'll never use your services ever again which is such a shameDesirae S.

I wish I was able to give this location zero stars. I showed up to pick up my Uhaul at the scheduled time and the online 24/7 check-in service directed me to go into the Uhaul store and speak with a representative instead of giving me the code to the lockbox. However, the store was locked with a number posted on the door. I called the number and left a voicemail. I then called Uhaul customer service who I spent two and a half hours on the phone with. During that time, I was transferred to four different states and six different representatives (none of which were responsible for the location I was at). I drove to a different Uhaul store who told me they were unable to help. A member there contacted another Uhaul representative who called me after another thirty minutes. He was apologetic, promised me a partial refund for the trouble, and provided me the code to the lockbox. My move was delayed by over 2.5 hours and I did not receive the refund. After completing my move, I called the rep back to ask for the refund, he was uninterested and told me he would call me back after looking into it. Needless to say, he never called me back. Had similar issues returning the Uhaul to a different store location. Will never use Uhaul again.Angela M.

It's a confusing location to find. There was no dolly despite renting one. Took nearly 35 minutes to get my vehicle. Only positive was the lady on the phone was nice and helpful. Everything else was poor.Logan R.

Location is in a bad part of town beside a liquor store where the number for U-Haul was posted. Took a while before someone returned my call but she came and took cared of us. Be waited about 30 minutes but she called to let us know she was on her way. She was very nice and helpful. We however, didn't feel safe waiting at the locationReuel A.
On way to pick up truck, i had a flat tire.Called p/u location and told them I would be an hour later than expected due to flat tire (p/u time was 9am). Had problems getting tire fixed, and told Rio Grande again that I would be late, but would be there. P/u location called me and told me manager said I would lose the truck if not there by noon. My car had to be towed for repair, and I hired an Uber to get to the Uhaul location before noon. When I arrived, no one was even there. The woman that checked out the van was very helpful and apologetic about my experience. It was a frustrating morning and I did all I could to get there on time and stay in communication with Uhaul. The manager had been aware of the situation all morning and his lack of understanding and willingness to help was inappropropriate.Charles C.

Terrible. Horrible service. The representative couldn't have cared less. I rented a truck for one hour to move some furniture, a $20 rental. I was later hit with a bill for almost $60, supposedly because the truck hadn't been checked in. When trying to correct the issue, the rep basically told me to get lost and that she had zero interest in refunding the money. Thieves. I wanted to give this branch the benefit of the doubt, but no. The online process is very finicky and long. Customer service was very condescending when I called because the key that I received didn't go to any truck in the lot (there were only six trucks to check). Getting out of the lot is difficult if the truck is backed in.Allison R.

I had made an appointment to pick up the truck at 10 am. I arrived on time, to find another couple waiting for their appointment. We all waited for more than an hour for someone to show up and get us into our rental trucks, It was quite cold (25 degrees) waiting out front, in a sketchy neighborhood. Lots of homeless folks. The other couple finally tired of waiting and left after an hour. A representative finally arrived close to 90 minutes late. No apology, just a hassled demeanor. None of the accessories that I had ordered online were in the truck. After all of this disappointment, I was charged significantly more than I had been quoted. The store is a dilapidated building. Literally dilapidated, I am not exaggerating. I think the use of this building as an office may be illegal. I have pictures and am considering filing a report with the City. The service was inexcusably horrible, and the workers had zero clue as to how to operate your system.ross V.

Poor new staff lady was left there by herself in this crappy office. She was receiving calls from another customer and had to call her boss to help her. Not sure why if she's new this boss wasn't there to help her out. Overall terrible location no one should have to work in an office in that condition. The pick up location was not welcoming, clean, nor had easy signage to figure what door to enter. The truck was said to be sanitized due to COVID-19, immediately upon opening the door, we started our own sanitizing and found this truck very dirty. It was evident this could not have ever been wiped with any rag. The clerk was unsure of the check out process, unsure of the mobile checkout when I had an issue, and decided to call a number in file to try a validate me and my word as for another contact number. This alone made it feel he called us unethical and liars. We were not pleased with this experience. He also was unsure about the military discount process.RICHARD Q.
