Don't tack on that dafe move stuff without telling the customer, even after explicitly saying it wasn't wanted on the online reservation multiple times. Scheduled for pickup at 12 only to be told they couldn't do it at 12 after we got there at 1150 because they were going to lunch.Christopher W.

My dad bought me a certificate 267E1900 to use for the uhaul truck. When I reserved it online, it would not allow me to input the certificate code,so I chatted online w a rep who noted my reservation and acct w notes about the issue. The rep also told me that I could use it at the pickup/drop off location upon pick up/return. The guy at the Thrall location said I could not use it anywhere but In Austin and would not accept the gift certificate. My father pretty much wasted his money since we could not use it and I would like y'all to refund the certificate amount to his card that he bought it w online, since store rep said we couldnt use it even though the online rep swore I could and documented my acct w the issue. My father has also already emailed you with this same info requesting the refund and ccd me on that email aswell. ThanksJanna R.

If us customers reserve a time to pick up say from my experience 5:45 for mobile pick up and the place that has uhauls closes at 5 Thennthere needs to be a way for someone to give you the keys to the truck. Or the truck needs to be ready and have the rented equipment stored in the uhaul. I had the hardest time getting a hold of someone to get me a key. I believe it was Customer service That had to get a hold of another property manager or something to cut me a key and bring a dolly and he was 2 hours out. So I left because I had a meeting but he stored the key for me to get. We used it less then the time we reserved and brought it back the next morning about 9ish and the guy that owns the company that stores the uhauls comes by and very very rude! He was asking me questions like what was I doing and I explained I'm returning this uhaul and he smarted off saying your not returning this uhaul! I was like yes I am we rented it and reserved it for 5:45 yesterday. He said back this was here yesterday. I was like I know y'all weren't open to give me the keys so I had to call and they got a hold of the property manager to cut me a key but had to wait for him because he was 2 hours out. He then denied and was like no I am the owner. I was like well then there is another manager for uhaul I guess because uhaul gave me this guys number and I showed him the name and that I was returning the uhaul. He goes where is the key? How did you get the key and I told him again. The key my boyfriend has we are going through the mobile drop off and doing the steps and then we will drop the key off in the box. He was acting like we were trying to steal the uhaul. Then proceeds to tell us to drop the key in the drop off box. I was like yes we know. I was so mad and upset. It was the worst experience ever and the first time I've ever rented a uhaul. So we were late on getting the uhaul, bad attitude and accusations from the owner of that company. I want customer service to call me!Kayla L.
When I arrived I said â€œhi I have an online reservation for a uhaulâ€. The man responded with â€œI can't help youâ€. He was angry and proceeded to raise his voice at me, my fiancÃ©e, and her father. He angrily told us we should have called him first before arriving at his shop like that. At this point I already had done the online check in via the uhaul website. I do this every time I rent a uhaul. I tried to show him my code that is required so I may be given the keys. He refused to even look at the code and said he did not want to see anything I had. I called the uhaul phone number and the lady on the line stated my reservation was active and he was supposed to give the keys to us. He still refused. He told me â€œI have the truck and you need one, so you need meâ€. He continued to angrily talk about how I should have called before showing up to his shop and how I messed everything up. I want to emphasize that I had already spoken with a uhaul representative over the phone and had attempted to show him the contract and website showing my reservation. This lasted about 45 minutes of him angry at us. After he spoke with a representative he asked me to sign a notebook sheet of paper as evidence that I was taking the truck. DO NOT SELECT THIS PLACE AS YOUR PICKUP. COMPLETE NIGHTMARE. We will be reporting this business to the appropriate entities.Arnulfo D.

Fuel level on paper work showed 1/2 tank, actual fuel level was below 1/2 advised agent, he said that it was because truck was leaning to the left, funny it was on level ground. And I returned the truck with the fuel level above 1/2......so I guess it was leaning to the right when I returned it.Donald M.

Very bad service. Slow, charged us for a one way and it was a round trip. We have rented many uhauls over the years, this was the worst experience ever. I hope we get credited back for charges they put in my credit card, I hate to have to write bad comments, but this was unacceptableKeith G.

This location in Thrall TX. and the one in Round Rock, TX on Palm Valley Dr./Duwayne (Blue) are great. You location owner in Taylor, TX and I believe is named David is a total ASSHOLE! He is rude, and should not be dealing with customers and should be cleaning toilets. Pull his dealership rights; ask Riley's and Duwayne in Round Rock, they've had terrible dealings with him too as other Dealers! This asshole cost me 3 hrs. of time and a lot of grief on the day I needed to leave to move from Texas to Colorado. He also cost me $300 on my house in TX. Security deposit cause I couldn't get some things done because of delays caused by him!!! THIS CLOWN HURTS YOUR BRAND!!!Glen G.

Customer service at the Riley's Highway Tire location is deplorable. Ron Riley was rude and condescending throughout the entire process. HIs first comment to me when I walked in was that my that my reservation wasn't until Saturday---he didn't even ask my name! He continued to try and sell the insurance package after I declined it three times and was offended when I told him to stop trying to sell me something I didn't want to purchase. When we went to start the moving van, it's battery was dead. He sent his mechanic out with a battery to jump the van and although we were only driving 8 minutes away, the mechanic claimed the battery would be charged by then. Needless to say, we had to jump the vehicle when we had loaded it at the first location and then had to leave it running while we unloaded and loaded at the second location. When I asked that we not be charged to fuel the van because we had to leave it running, Mr. Riley became ruder. His explanation for the battery was that the previous renters had left the lights on...apparently doing an inspection of the vehicle when it is rented or returned is not part of his schedule. When I asked about customer service, he loudly and proudly announced that I was NOT his customer. This location leaves a bad impression. Although I have utilized U-Haul to move in the past--I hope that the company pays closer attention to the individuals/businesses that represent them than is evident in my experiences at Riley's. This location is a poor choice for U-Haul.norma M.

Retire trucks that are that old. The truck we had shook really bad when you took it above 60 miles an hours.
