The NATIONAL PHONE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE - KIMBERLEY (MANAGER) WAS NOT HELPFUL, RUDE, TERRIBLE VOICE TONE - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I waited on hold 14 minutes from the national customer service rep to transfer to the customer service manager. The location didn't have the blankets I ordered. The location's customer service at the location was excellent.

They charged us for 2 gallons of gas. We only drove 3 miles the gas gauge never moved. I got overcharged $11. Wtf

This was the worst experience I have ever had renting a moving truck and I have moved a lot. The first phone call we got they said they didn't have the truck in the size we reserved. They upgraded us at no additional charge. That was fine. We were supposed to pick it up Thursday night but the truck wasn't available until Friday morning. The next phone call on Thursday afternoon said that there were no trucks available in the entire Las Vegas valley. The closest truck was in Fort Mojave, Arizona. We had to drive 2 hours to get the truck. Upon arrival the man working the counter had no idea what he was doing. He had to call the u-haul main line for help. That still wasn't enough. He then called someone else who didn't even work with him to help. Again, that wasn't enough. It took over 30 minutes to check out the truck. The entire time he was bad mouthing u-haul. After my husband finally helped him we were able to leave. The truck only had a 1/4 tank of gas. So, on the 2 hour drive back to Las Vegas we had to stop and refuel. At this point we have now lost five hours that we needed to load the truck. We had to hire people to help us pack in order to be ready to leave on time. More money out of our pocket. And after all this mess our credit card was stolen. The reason I add this is because this location is the only place we used that card in over a month. And our card was hit the next day.

They were to contact Uhaul and let them know I returned the truck and it didn't happen. many phone calls later to get it resolved after $1300 was taken out of my checking account to pay for the truck I no longer had.

The trailer we reserved ahead of time was rented out to someone else and was not ready or available at the agreed upon time. We ended up renting a more expensive trailer, it was not that much more money, but the principle of the thing was the trailer we reserved was not there.

The problem with returning the trailer was frustrating. The office was closed and couldn't get a hold of anyone. I called the U Haul main office and had to explain what was going on to several individuals to even get an answer as to what to do to return the trailer. Very irritating situation.

I was set up for Needles, CA. the reservation location did not exist and the other dealer was outright rude. It made for a long hot day. I was extremely frustrated and the young men in Ft. Mohave were a refreshing help. They saved the day.

I am a monthly storage user at rightspace storage...I rented a truck for a whole 2 hrs and drove it 1.7 miles...in my opinion the gas gauge didn't move....your employee asked me if I put any gas in it...I said i didn't because I went such a short distance and going to get gas would have added more miles...he say ""good"....then proceeded to charge me $15.00 for gas without saying anything...but I asked why the big difference in price and he told me it was for gas...After I argued the point , he lowered it to $10...My question is why couldn't he just have charged me like $5 for gas or something reasonable...I understand that normally you should go get the gas but for such a short distance there should have been an exception...using your policy to protect your business is ethical....using your policy to steal from your customer is unethical...and VERY poor business!!! If you don't mind having a bad reputation in the community then don't worry about this review...but there are many many uhaul rental places to choose from...I' not thrilled about keeping my storage there anymore now either...maybe I'll be able to find another place where I can trust the people I'm dealing with...I have lost trust in your company at this point...

The gentleman that worked up the contract and positioned the trailer for ease of pickup at a very late hour (about 3 pm) on Christmas Eve is to be commended. He was very professional and knowledgeable too and was not annoyed in the least!

the pick-up and drop-off places were excellent. However, 18 hours before I was needing the truck and trailer, I checked to make sure they had the items I need, they told me they messed up the the reservations and I was asked to pick-up my items at another u-haul location 75 miles away.!! and that they could take $100 off the total. This was very frustrating as well as insulting. Eventually a different size truck was rented to me. with no compensation. Why do you take reservations and not have the equipment? Why wouldn't someone call me and tell me there was problem sooner?? This was very troubling. Thank-you to Ashley from the pocatello store for handling all this calmly and efficiently!!! I plan on needing a moving truck again at least two more time in the next 12 months unfortunately, I will be looking in to Budget and Ryder at those times.

I was treated with excellent customer service from Todd in Vegas, Fort Mohave storage where I picked up the truck , and also Mohave battery where I dropped off the vehicle. Amazing service I would not rent from anyone else again! Thank you! :)
