The gas tank was not full. I was supposed to fill to 5/8 tank which is kind of inconvenient and hard to do. I ended up overfilling by a LOT. The dolly which is fastened to the inside of the truck is terribly placed. I almost moved it because I lost SO much of the space I which I thought I'd paid for... but there's a seal on it which prevents me from utilizing that space without being trapped into an extra fee. Also the app wouldn't let me return the truck. I confirmed my location and everything in my smart phone but when it came time to take a picture of the odometer and fuel level.. the app wouldn't accept my picture. So I was never able to complete the return. I had to have the business owner check the truck back in for me the next morning.

I was having trouble using the self pick up, ended up having to call customer service and they told me it wasn't working because I showed up late for my reservation. It should have been clearer when making the appointment that this might be an issue, and I intended to pay for the entire time anyway, so I don't see why this would change anything.

The service guy was rude at 7am. Moving is a very stressful situation and having never rented a uhaul before there was no signs as to where to park. Being out of the car for 5 mins and being told to move our car 3 times was rude and unhelpful. He told us we weren't open, even though the hours on the door are Monday through Friday 7- whatever closing is and it was after 7am. Glad to not have to use this location again

Very frustrated with U-Haul. I made reservation on line, only to receive a text a few hours later saying that I had to pick up the truck 20 miles away from where I had requested it! Time/mileage/gas all to your advantage, not to mention the added expense of my “help”! After calling our local U-Haul, we got that straightened out (van instead of truck). The van was brand new, which was wonderful. Returning the van was a hassle, as the place was closed. I would have appreciated a “heads up”, at pick up, as well as instructions. What does someone do who doesn't have an IPhone? It took me quite some time, to jump through the hoops.

Put the dolly and bag of blankets on the same wall as the fuel neck. Because of the way this was done it cost me an extra turn due to loosing two walls. Poor placement, unless you are trying to force your customers into using something they may not need. Really got me cranky. Figure next time I need to rent a truck I'll check the competition. If they don't do that you have lost a potential customer.

I dealt with a lot of issues with uhaul. I had to call 3 times to even get mileage compensation for my pick up being switched the day before I had to pick it up. I was not notified that by paying with cash that a down deposit of 100 dollars was required until I walked into the location. Uhaul as a whole company needs improvements.

Consider installing hydraulic jacks on the trailer tongue for ease of hitching and unhitching the trailers. My son and I were having no luck trying to unhitch the trailer when we returned it, but fortunately another U-Haul customer was returning his truck and offered his help. Without him, I'm not sure my son and I would have been successful. A tongue jack would have helped us out immensely.

It was a perfect experience. First time renting. Associate (Julia?) that helped me throughout the process was outstanding. She answered all questions thoroughly and politely. I was in and out quicker than expected. The vehicle was in perfect condition and the transaction could not have been better. The price was very reasonable. Not necessarily the locations fault, but the online app didn't work for me to submit my photos. never gave me the option and yes I went the right web address. So I got charged another 20+ dollars for the "convenience" fee for the location to check.

The van was brand new, only 2800 miles on it and it was completely covered in dog hair. Both driver and passenger seats were disgusting and I unfortunately did not realize it until I arrived to my location and then myself was covered. I had to change my clothing before I even went into my home.
