I scheduled a one way pick from sparks. The uhaul store had nothing available. I had to drive an extra 180 miles to get the trailer I booked.in my opinion uhaul should have been aware and didn't care about its customer.

I placed a reservation on Monday, April 27, and whoever I was on th ephone with said they would be able to get me a dolley in Battle Mountain Nevada. When I called a couple days later to change my pick up time to an earlier time she said that was not available because the store didn't open so we chnaghed our pickup date to another. I then got a call from Jaden, a manager, he said there wasn't a dolley big enough for our car so he was going to upgrade us to a trailer but I told him we couldn't use a trailer, he then told me he'd call me back with measurments of a dolley they have to make sure it would fit. He never called back and I left several voicemails for him to call me. I decided to just call U-Haul and figure it out. They told me they were no dolleys in the close areas and the closest was TWO HOURS AWAY. I was not impressed. We finally settled because we spoke to Amanda and she gave us one day free and 50% off. I am upset because I made a reservation for a dolley in Battle Mountain and we had to drive four hours for a dolley. It was a joke, next time I make a reservation I hope it isn't a shitshow.

U-Haul requested that I return my rental to this location which was different than the agreed upon return location on my contract. I have, in writing, where U-Haul offered to reimburse me $50 for doing this. U-Haul DID NOT reimburse me. Additionally, when I arrived at the unmanned return location, I called U-Haul to verify whether I needed to clean the exterior of the U-Haul or not. There was a pay and spray wash adjacent to the return location. I was told by a U-Haul representative that I only needed to ensure that the interior of the rental was clean. Approximately 2 hours after dropping the rental, I received an email that the return location was charging me a $25 cleaning fee. I have since reached out to U-Haul multiple times, but I have not gotten a response yet. I have normally had a positive experience with U-Haul, but this will deter me from using them in the future. It is dishonest and lacks integrity.

Out drop off location was changed. When we went to the new location no one was at the office. We called the U-Haul main phone and they said we could do a return online and would send the link which never came. I found the link on the website but it just took more time than we expected. And we had to leave our copy of our rental contract with the keys. I also never received a confirmation of the return. I called the drop off facility and they said it was fine but I have no receipt showing the final charges.

Have equipment available. We reserved a truck it wasn't returned we had to drive to Lovelock, 89 miles away to get a truck. Don't appreciate the added expense because of your lack of equipment.

Renting from Winnemucca was the problem for us. Made a reservation 3 wks. prior & were told they couldn't guarantee. Day before we moved u- haul sent us to Fallon, the truck we needed was not turned in. We were told to go to Lovelock, they were great! Felt a lot like a run around??

A week should be ample notice to provide a requested truck and if one is not going to be available then the customer should be notified prior to the morning the truck is needed

Our experience was very positive. We wanted a 17' truck but one was not available in our small rural town. We had to drive to go get our truck, but we were upgraded to a 20' truck for the same price. It all went very smooth.

I understand that U-HAUK takes advantage of the fact that "small" businesses can spread the availability of the product over a larger geographic area. These small businesses often have irregular hours and might be closed on a Sunday or a Wednesday. That works fine EXCEPT for the fact that if I wanted to return on a Sunday they would be closed. The Lovelock site does not have an answering machine. The owner has a cell phone but that is an unlisted number. Rich is a really nice guy he offered my wife and I cookies while we were waiting to pick up our rental. He followed up after we dropped off when he was not available. All positive traits EXCEPT... no business which rents by the day can be unavailable on any day for a return... JUST MY 2 CENTS and he was unavailableon Veterens day.

I only wish that the scheduling process had it together as well as the pick up location. Even though we scheduled the truck 3 weeks in advance we had to drive an extra 200 miles to get the truck which cost us over $100 in gas. Please Uhaul scheduling...don't have people believe they can get a truck if they can't. The costs are extensive and the experience was poor even with the great experience provided by the local pick up and drop off shops. I would recommend the Uhaul pick up location to anyone.

Make it a little cheaper and when someone reserves a uhaul have it in the location requested, i preordered 2 weeks in advance and had to downgrade so i didnt make a 280mi round trip in two vehicles

I dropped off the trailer on a Sunday when they were closed so I had no interaction with them personally, however the location was clean, easy to find and I would recommend it based on that information.

The employee did not know how to use the software.I wanted to pay cash, and have the $100 deposit on credit card. But it was the only location in Lovelock NV and I'm guessing not very many people would be renting a u-haul from there.

When I call U Haul to ask where in Lovelock to drop the truck off I was told I had to go to Winnemucca or Fernley and I would not get charged for any extra miles .Plus I would get $50 credit,then that got changed to $30.I picked Fernley because I was headed back to Reno.About 20 miles out of Lovelock they called back saying to drop it off in lovelock. Had to trun around.There was nobody at Lovelock location. Not a happy camper.

The gentleman was hard to make contact with after dropping the truck off after hours. I made three failed attempts to make physical contact with the owner of the shop in the following week. There are no regular hours of operation.

The trailer was returned on time, but the person at this location did not inventory to see the trailer was there. Instead he claims that it was supposed to be returned at his front door. The trailer was returned back to its orginal location. His failure to walk out and see if the trailer was there cause a huge problem as he claimed the trailer was returned late. Because he would not walk out and see if the trailer was there cause us lost time fighting with U-haul over late fees. The U-haul Reps treated us poorly and insisted the trailer was not there, when in fact in was. I will not recommend or use U-haul for any future moves my company makes. I cannot beleive this company would not walk 100 ft to insure the trailer was there! Instead it was easier to demand late fees and treat their customer poorly! Even after they had been told the trailer was there!

make sure that all wires are maintained and contented properly. If customer says that there is a problem then it needs to be fixed there not at another location. If equipment cannot be fixed then different equipment needs to be available even if it is not the same that has been put on reserve and at the same cost as the one reserved. If there are probelms then a discount needs to be provided because customers expect to rent equipment that has no problems.
