Well I started it after loading the truck and it wouldn't shift to any gear( it wouldn't move) and it had the engine light on. I turn it off and turned it on twice and then it would move. It was a little nerve wrecking. It was stressful in more ways than one...Sluggish truck. Also the dolly wasn't secured in the truck when I got it so it scared me when I took off and I heard a bang! communication was not clear. The place I rented it from was not open followed direction as explained and could not get into the truck. When I called for help they told me I wasn't in the system. Four hours later I finally got some help. I had to pay two guys for that time. I don't believe I should have paid for the truck with all trouble I had to go through. They told me they were having trouble with communication and the system, this was not my fault.Bob A.
It's not as convenient on Saturday to pickup from place with no one present to help We've rented before and returned on Sunday but at gas station where clerk made the transaction simple and smoothCassie W.

I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance. I was switched back and forth between locations which was very frustrating. The lady at Rhodes storage was excellent to work with and helped get the mess straightened out.Phyllis B.

This location is excellent and the staff is extremely helpful, going the â€œextra mileâ€ to please their customers. I rented on a non-business day for this location so the rental was handled electronically using the UHaul app, which was frustrating... it repeatedly said that my GPS was showing me in the wrong location, which was incorrect! After several tries it finally worked, but a lot of time was wasted.Adam C.

I was totally not expecting the milage costs to stack up as they did. Basically meaning that it's simple to guess the mileage vs actual used miles. I was within 5 cents of not being able to pay it. ?? I think a more in depth picture of the total costs would help for future family's. Perhaps some sort of system that tracks milage costs in real time could stop a heart attack. Lol.Katherine B.
I am very satisfied with this location and the rental experience with one exception. I reserved the truck online a couple of weeks before I needed it, with a pickup location near my house. A truck was not available from that location, so my reservation was altered to pickup and return to Rhodes Storage. This was merely an inconvenience until I received the final accounting and learned that I was charged the additional mileage from Rhodes Storage to the site closer to me. I feel I should not have been charged the additional mileage.Richard B.

Tried to drop off the vehicle on Monday evening, but there was poor signage to know what to do. According to the Uhaul document, they should have been open at 8am, but they do not open until 10am. I locked the vehicle, dropped the key through the mail slot, and left a voice message. It ended up not to be a problem, but need better signage, at the least.David M.

This was not my original drop off location but was the location of my storage unit. The manager made a phone call to transfer this location to be my drop off location and that saved me a 15 minute drive. In my opinion she went above and beyond to help me as I relocated from another state.Amy C.
